Tracy has trained me well and problem solved many times so I am successful in my therapy. I have needed Aron the respiratory therapist twice for complex issues with myself or the equipment. Aron fully addressed each and every issue. Mike at technical assistance in the New Hope main office also hit the nail on the head the first time when I had an issue. I am thankful and proud to be a customer of this company. Tracy makes a extra personal effort to be good to people and this takes time. She is a very valuable employee. Sometimes I wonder if she is the only one at the store that does my therapy system because it seems she does everything by herself and I am very thankful for the continuity of care. Beware of CHM warranties, my elderly family member received her Golden electric lift chair in…read moreDecember of 2024, in the fall of 2025 the electric remote stopped working and it was replaced the same day ( thanks to Ron from CHM Fridley) on Monday September 14th 2026 the new remote again stopped working. I brought the new remote to CHM Fridley and talked to Samantha at the desk. She told me she had no record of the of the remote that I was given in the fall of 2025 and that I would have to purchase a new remote for $ 78.00 or wait to talk to Ron on Tuesday the following day. I explained to her the remote and all electronic parts for the lift chair are covered under the 3 year warranty and I tried to show her the proof of warranty that I had with me. She dismissed me like I was a foolish old man that didn't understand their warranty that she stated was only 1year on remotes. My family member relies on her lift chair to help her get into her wheelchair so I had to pay the $78.00 on Wednesday September 16th back at CHM I spoke with Ron who again stated the warranty is only 1year on electrical parts. I showed him the 3 year proofs of warranty I had so he called the corporate office and was told yes indeed it is a 3 year warranty on chair electrical parts and I should get a refund for $78.00 ( I was told checks in the mail) what amazes me is how can employees that have been there for years not understand or know the warranties for the expensive products that are sold mainly for and to elderly consumers and how many have been scammed in the past. I have had the best experience with Active Medical…read more My mom, who has trouble walking, needed help to travel to Massachusetts to attend my son's graduation ceremony. When I took my mom to Active Medical, Greg stayed in late for us and patiently helped us pick the right sized wheelchair. Greg also allowed my dad, who has backpain, to try out a scooter in case he needed help to walk as well. Right before the travel day, Greg let me pick up the wheelchair one day before the scheduled date, to save me a trip. Also, Active Medical provided me with a brand-new wheelchair when I explained that I was taking my parents to attend a graduation ceremony. This wheelchair had made it possible for my mom to attend my son's graduation and we are grateful for the outstanding service from Active Medical.

Is It because... -Handi arrived a month late on a service call ? -Handi could not produce any record of the make, or model of the chair they sold me (October, 2018)? -Handi never answered the emergency pager, when the chair was brand new, stuck and obstructing egress traffic, and with electrical wiring loose and waving everywhere? their message machine said they would return my urgent call within 15Mins. (October, 2016) ? -Handi used hacked hybrid screws from both sides of the atlantic, complicating maintenance? (september, 2016) --Assembly was required, at home, by the client with mobility impairment? initially, Handi tried to drop the chair off at my house as an afterthought on the way home from work at 7P. I got them to deliver it dduring business hours to take me through a test spin. The bulk of assembly was left to me,and remains incomplete. My bedroom became their workshop, in their absence . (Sept, 2016) By golly, I was hoping to roll into courage center for the equipment eval and see Reliable Medical , as the appointed vendor.
