From making the appointment on the phone all the way through to paying for the appointment was a great experience. Friendly service from all staff, no wait time, I went right in. Dr Kaur was thorough getting to know my family history. She did the check up and it was all very professional and painless. If you're looking for a good female doctor, you'll probably find her here. I paid $86 for the appointment and was told that I'd get $30 something back from Medicare. Worth it!

My first and all subsequent appointments were with Dr Kirshner and she is fantastic. Dr Kirshner took the time to get to know me, understand lifestyle and medical history in a way no doctor had before. She gave me a general check up that was very comprehensive as well as addressing my specific concerns, and explained the reason behind the various tests she was doing. The Epworth Freemasons is expensive for a GP service, but for me it was worth the peace of mind. There is also a Men's Clinic in the same complex.

I've been seen on the very day that I've called to make an appointment. Another bonus is that I've never had to wait longer than about 15 minutes. The waiting room is at the back of the centre and there are lots of fairly recent magazines to be read and a little children's play area with toys. There are usually two receptionists at the reception desk and one of them, the lady who always wears brightly coloured lipstick, is always smiley and friendly and quick to attend to patients. All this is very refreshing when compared to my experiences of other GP surgeries in Brunswick. The doctors I've seen here have all been really good and offered appropriate treatment. I saw the women's health nurse once too and she was so lovely. I have felt a little bit rushed through my appointments but then I've never really been there for anything more serious than a flu so that is usually a quick appointment.

The staff show respect compassion & care. The staff listen. The staff check you have support at home etc. From my experience I can highly recommend EPWORTH. As a consumer of many different Hospitals, Epworth, Cabrini malvern & Warrnambool Hospital are very efficient on finding a diagnoses & referring you to the correct specialist & treatment, even in a pandemic. Another major hospital I have had experience with in melbourne, were inactive inadequate & inefficient, sadly my husband died, as the hospital was too slow to diagnose his cancer & treat him. It was unfortunate Epworth was on by pass. I highly recommend Epworth the staff really try & show care & compassion.

My experience at Epworth was seamless, from the fast and efficient intake at pre-op, to the amazing, friendly, and super-attentive post-op nurses. The anaesthetist was wonderful, making jokes with me about the US and giving me the tiniest needle possible in order to assuage my fear of sharpies. Procedure started promptly at nine as promised and I was out the door by 1:30. The next day I was called by a member of the nursing staff to check up on my recovery. Not cheap with medicare, but if you have private insurance, this is the place to come for a professional, high quality surgical procedure.

My GP at the St Kilda Superclinic referred me to this establishment at Balaclava for a couple of pelvic ultrasound treatments as my face broke out with severe acne months ago; and he felt that there was an underlying cause behind it. And the beautiful thing about this establishment is that they bulk bill through Medicare. Upon attending my appointment 15 minutes early on a Saturday morning, I was grateful to be treated straightaway. Vince (and the reception staff) were most friendly, polite, courteous and helpful. The first few scans lying down in a white hospital gown went okay, and the last few were sadly quite painful; although that could not be helped. Thankfully the treatment was over quite quickly, and I felt fine again after a shower upon coming back home. It was amazing that the outcome was faxed to my Doctor almost immediately. If you ever need an ultrasound or an MRI; best to ask your Doctor to refer you to this establishment. The service and the ambience is just so caring and spectacular.

The timing was such that this had to happen so I booked it 1-2 weeks before. I didn't need a specialist nor did I want to pay for such a basic service. I booked Dr Saiqah Shamshad online and didn't know who to expect as I don't know Indian/Pakistani names. The booking was confirmed via email. There was enough parking along Victoria Street for a short appointment (and great coffee next door). The centre is squeezed in amongst other shops, a simple but clean reception area where we were welcomed and called in less than 10 minutes. Dr Saiqah was female, which pleased my pain fearing daughter, and turned out to be very nurturing, caring and knowledgeable DR. She completed what wr were after and we left feeling very happy we had found her. If she is a true representation of the rest of this practice we would highly recommend going there when in need.

I then googled and found this amazing clinic in the middle of Brunswick called Victoria Street Medical Group that I did not even know existed. I booked online. The tram dropped me off literally 2 doors down. The doctor I saw was Dr Chaudary. He was very professional and absolutely fantastic, he took time, was empathetic and ran blood test and asked me to come back for follow up. He explained by problem and started treatment. I feel much better and have made him my usual GP. I am ever grateful. And to top it all off, I was bulkbilled. In fact its a new practice and they bulk bill. Great place, great doctor, I strongly recommend it.

All of the doctors I've been to here have been really welcoming and approachable and makes the sucky act of going to the doctors a little more pleasant. I arrived 10 minutes early to be greeted by the receptionist with the following sentence "That's right, you're new *sigh*. You'll need to fill in these forms, go sit there" She then proceeded to take personal calls whilst 4 patients were waiting in the relatively small waiting area. One call was a friend of hers prank calling her saying that they had been shot in the stomach. Her advice to what she thought was a real caller was "call 911" As you can imagine, my concern with a medical staffer using an American emergency number to someone who was potentially in a dire situation was quite large. Do yourself a favour, go to chemist warehouse and get a diagnosis from the 16 year old work experience kid. You'll be glad you did.
