Help me understand why a Walgreens on street level in downtown Des Moines is closed on a Sunday (or closes early any other day) when they could make a killing off the people who live, work, and party at the bars, apartments, and offices that literally surround the store's location. Never received any text advising they were reopened but I went there straight from work today and they CLOSED AT 6PM! Tried calling another Walgreens to see if they could fill it and no luck there. I advised that I was leaving at 4:30 AM tomorrow on a trip and was told I could call my Dr's office and have them call the prescription into their location. It is 6:15 at night, the Dr's office closed at 4!!! Horrible customer service and I refuse to deal with this crap any longer. Been a loyal customer for 30+ years but no more. I am moving every single prescription I have out of their reach so hopefully I won't ever have to deal with them again!

The only down side of the place is they just changed store hours so they're not open 24 hours anymore. So if I need to go out to get medicine in the middle of the night so my daughter will feel better, I have to go somewhere else. All in all Walgreens on east Euclid is a great choice to pick up what you need. I recommend it!
