Then she and Jacob asked a lot of questions and listened intently at the consultation appointment. Gunther had issues with aggressiveness when he was scared or unsure, he was very hyper and spastic, and we could tell he just didn't know how to behave as a dog in a loving home. We opted to send Gunther away with Anya for the 4 weeks border/training program. He came back to us a completely different dog! Gunther learned so much with Anya! He is a super obedient dog and overall has really calmed down. No more jumping on people, no more aggression, no more spastic behavior, no more scarfing his food...he is visibly a much happier dog! He now understands what is expected of him and he really wants to please. We are so thankful for Anya and her team. We have since participated in group walks and Anya is so caring of and concerned with all the dogs. Anya is also a very kind and patient human trainer (the reality is we dog owners often need as much if not more training on how to handle ourselves!)! Lots of accessories and toys for your pet too. They have grooming on site. I can tell you that we have used the grooming in the past and loved them. Our dog enjoyed going every month. We would tell him it eas "Spa Day" and he would run to the car. There is pet adoption that is on site plus there are monthly adoption events. They also hold low cost vaccination clinics and microchipping. And several times a year they have pet photography. By the registers is a self serve engraving machine for tags. I personally love the 2 for $5 dog toys. I can get my dog new toys when needed and it doesn't cost me a fortune. So when I do throw old ones away, it's not like throwing a bagful of $ out with it. The store is always clean. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I love that when I walk in, it doesn't smell like a kennel like some other pet stores do. We just completed our fourth and final training class. What a wonderful experience. I felt nobody…read morewas ever going to be able to fix our 9 month old retriever mix. He was a complete nightmare to walk. Lunged at cars and people and animals in a very aggressive way...and he's strong. In addition to other commands, our dog learned to walk better than any dog I've ever owned, pretty much after second class. It's actually pleasant to take him walking now! Thai may be pricey, but in my experience, it was worth every penny because the alternative would be suffering for 14-15 years with a dog who doesn't listen. Jim and katie were fantastic trainers. I couldn't be happier with my decision. I have a brand new dog. Not to mention we get to continue group training for two years all included in the price. If you are on the fence, stop hesitating and do it!

After her training at Sit Means Sit, we can now go with confidence into the world to enjoy all it has to offer!
