Walk in and order, fix drink while they prepare the food... You can watch your food being prepared. They were out of the bacon carbonara. I had the redneck gyro and grilled veggies. Even though the veggies were cold they were still seasoned well and tasted good. The gyro was delicious. They have upgraded to nice plates instead of the plastic baskets they used to have. A small (seating ~30) BUSY place, especially for TOGO, which is what I picked up. I ordered/paid ahead of time. Had about a 5-minute wait for my food then I was gone. We had two redneck gyros, one with a side of roasted veggies, the other with carbonara orzo. The third gyro was a regular gyro with the cucumber tomato salad as a side. My small complaint I have w with my side, the carbonara orzo. Could've used a little more savoriness to it, as it was missing a little something, not sure what it is. I don't recall what the soup was called, but it was okay. The real deal was the gyro which was ready for my daughter to pickup within minutes. Incredibly fast and plenty thick for a gyro. So thick that I had difficulty holding and eating it. I recommend this little sandwich shop, and definitely recommend the redneck gyro. read more

Its a chain and ik what your thinking ugh a chain european and mead food. But man this place is so good. I have been getting it for 5+ years and never disappointed. Portion - 5/5. you get a very big portion. Plenty of veggies and meat. All tastes fresh. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because there was WAYYY TOO much tzatziki sauce. We have followed this spot since they opened. It is very good, I do feel the price point is a tad high for the feel of the location as a smaller, slightly higher than fast food spot, but it is really good. The Redneck Gyro, and Red Rooster are two favorites. The bacon carbonara is just excellent. I love their hummus. It is one of my favorites of anywhere, but it is a little high, to me. However, I still pay for it every time I go. The workers are pleasant, the place is clean, and will plan to still eat here for the next thirty years. read more

The food was fresh and delicious. The service was terrible, the ambiance was poor from the outside surprisingly good on the inside. Upon entering I took a moment to look around, then focused on the menu. I then announced to the middle school kids working there, that it was my first time there. Only response, giggles. I chose a gyro and the special. I was told I get sides with that. I asked what sides they offered. She pointed at the wall and said "they're there". So I picked two that looked appetizing, paid, sat down to wait, wasn't long. Being only five or six feet from the kids, I couldn't help but over hear their dismissive conversation about our interaction. I actually love y'all food, but OH MY SWEET BASMATI RICE!! I decided to order basmati rice today, because I always get the salad or the orzo salad for a side. Since, I love basmati rice and I cook it often, I was like, "let me give it a try, at this place". When I got home and opened the container, I was like, "no way, is this basmati rice". So being hopeful, that it would at least taste decent. I took a bite and to my disappointment, it was disgusting and raw. I had to spit it out. I ordered the Redneck Gyro Beef-Lamb Meat, Conecuh Sausage, Smoked Gouda and Mozzarella Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions and Cajun Tzatziki the first visit and tasted The gyro- with Beef-Lamb Meat, Tzatziki, Lettuce, Tomatoes and Onions on Pita Bread. Everything was yummy. They also offer several delicious vegetarian and vegan options. The Greek salad was fresh and tasted even better with the added rotisserie chicken. Everything had good flavor, and the prices are reasonable with a side and drink combo. I enjoyed the healthier options used, and the taste of the ingredients were refreshing and rememberable. FUN FACT: MSC, was the first restaurant I visited in Mobile after dropping off our U-haul. We needed something fast, yummy, and preferably NOT a national fast food chain (I mean, a girl has standards-- even when riding shot gun in a moving van. lol)! By way of their redneck gyro, MSC introduced me to the conecuh sausage mania that has a stronghold on Mobile, Alabama! Randomly, Chef Stu of " Sip and Chew with Mike and Stu" was at the restaurant on my first visit and took the hubs and I on a tour through the menu and made great recommendations! (I had no idea back then what a local rockstar Chef Stu was!) I loved the gyros, I'm not crazy about the pasta sides, and the drink machine labels are quite hilarious as well! Damn. I gave it two stars bc one star would be, like, if I found a cockroach in my food. I ordered from here through Door Dash. Three of my six items did not even make it here. Doordash is good about issuing credits so that's fine. So I sat down to eat. This wrap is so over-sauced it's become a soggy, impossible to eat mess. And it's not particularly delicious. If harissa is present it's overshadowed by the buffalo flavor. I couldn't even finish it. I have not eaten today and it's 630pm. I've been up since 6am. That's how inedible it was. I used my doordash credit to just order something else. Huge disappointment. My son said his gyro was ok so that's a thing... The hummus and pita were ok too. The chicken and conecuh gyro was delicious! I wish their menu was a little clearer as far as what you get when you order. Eveything is listed A La Carte. The staff said that was a known issue with their online ordering kiosk set up in the store and the paper menu was much better however I could not find an paper menu's in the store.
