I arrived on Friday and started the check-in process at 7:04 PM. I know this because I received a text message to continue with the online check-in. In my opinion, if you work at a front desk, especially in a medical setting, it's best practice to greet clients with the utmost respect, be courteous, and most importantly, be attentive. Unfortunately, the front desk attendant seemed to miss the memo about these essential attributes. I understand that closing time is at 8 PM, but she clearly had other things on her mind; it looked like she was either watching a show or scrolling through social media on her phone. As soon as I walked in, I barely started to speak when she abruptly interrupted me and instructed me to check in on the iPad. After struggling with a poor service connection, I returned to the front desk, and she quickly directed me to log onto the guest Wi-Fi. It would have been best if she had suggested that right away. After I completed the check-in process, she reviewed the reason for our visit and informed me that there was no X-ray technician available that evening. Had she inquired about the reason for our visit when I first arrived, it would have saved me about 15 minutes of attempting to complete the check-in. Overall, even though the office hours end at 8 PM, there is still ample time to maintain a positive attitude at work. I ended up going up the road to Las Palmas where it was a world of a difference with all the staff. Recommend that location. read more

No joke I thought I was asphyxiating to death last night. This darn cold/flu went thru my entire family last week and of course I was staying strong for the kids. I think crying my eyes out for my father's death affected my lungs because they all recovered but I came down with bronchitis. I missed out on 4th of July celebrations because I was so sick and knew I had to get better for my father's funeral Friday. I couldn't sleep and the symptoms weren't getting any better, so I tested for Covid at home but came up negative. I called and messaged a bunch of friends asking for general practitioners but was told it was too short a notice for a sick patient. One name kept popping up though which was MedIPost off Cimarron. I haven't used urgent care in so long and didn't know what to expect. They have all the info on what insurance they take on their site and they take most, like BCBS, Tricare, etc I came first thing and was one of 3 there at 8am. They opened up on time and the receptionist was very nice, taking my information and my copay was $50 for urgent care, even though it was $20 for my friends and sister in law (they might have better coverage, and so may vary). They took a family of 6 first before me because they needed rapid tests and I guess they had an appointment? So you can call in or make an appointment in person or online. Pro Tip: Appointments get priority. My total time from getting in the building to leaving was 1 hr 50 mins. 1 hr was basically waiting in front. 30 mins in the back waiting and 15 mins of getting vitals, getting swabbed for the flu and strep test. The MA Natalie was very sweet, she was genuinely concerned that I was in pain and tried to make it as quick as possible for the swabbing. The PA Paul was knowledgeable and very good looking. He heard my hacking cough and knew it was Bronchitis but confirmed by looking at my throat. He had a plan of attack and explained what each drug he was prescribing would do and why he chose that combination. He said that he has already treated some 30 cases this week, so stay alert and wash your hands, people! Only draw back was that they should really clean their ceilings. read more

I came in to get a flu shot for myself and my family. We filed out the normal paperwork and waited before we were seen. So we were in and out in about 20 minutes. The best part this place even had free coffee and tea. So you can not go wrong when you go to a medical facility and you get to enjoy something nice and enjoyable while you wait. Trying to make this post short and simple. Front Desk - Ok, he is friendly and chill! Nurse Assistant - She ok too Nurse Practitioner - NOPE. Rude and very unpleasant. I work in nursing home and I am good friends with Nurse Prac and doctor, and they always put customer first. But this lady, oh no. Never ever coming back. I'll be giving rates in Military spouse in regards to urgent care in west. Waiting time. Be prepared to give at least 3 hours of your day. Oh and btw, it's by appointment only. What kind of urgent care does not allow walk-ins? Isn't that the point of an urgent care-not needing an appointment? What a waste.

I made an appointment but still had to wait which wasn't much of an issue for me. They took my VA insurance and it was super smooth. I did see some walk ins come in, after a certain number they weren't taking any more walk-ins because of the wait time and they were notified and offered the option to stay and wait or go somewhere else. Once I was seen it went fairly quick. The staff was proficient and professional. PA Paul was very knowledgeable when it came to my orthopedic issue. read more

I have to give huge praise to Ricardo from MedPost, Paseo Del Norte location. We went in last night to get a rapid COVID test to be able to travel to Paris today. The young lady at the front desk was super nice on the phone after we called frantic because Upper Vally Urgent Care had a line wrapped around the building and we needed our test for this morning. The Doctor was awesome, energetic and quick. When we arrived at the airport, the attendant said she had turned away 25 people already because their paperwork was not what they are requiring, ours included. We called MedPost while waiting for her to check if ours were okay, which her supervisor said no and Ricardo was able to change the verbiage to how they wanted it (had to have the word Antigen, not Rapid) and email it right over. He truly went above and beyond and we are forever grateful. read more

Should have read the reviews before going here. The reality is they do not take walk-ins. I went there today and was asked if I had an appointment. I said "no". I was told to go to a certain part of the waiting room and "wait". They did not take my name or ask why I needed to be seen. I could see the handwriting on the wall with this one. The waiting room had a couple of people in it. I logged on to their website and saw the only way to be seen was to make an appointment. The next appointment was almost 4 hours away and the website indicated that was only an estimate. This is typical shoddy El Paso medical care. If you are not the right race, you get treated differently. I got up and left. I will never return there again. read more

I previously hurt my lower back a couple days prior to going in. I was in a lot of pain and had trouble walking. I was told at the front desk they were not taking walk-ins anymore. The girl at the front desk was very nice she could see that I was in a lot of pain. And she said she was going to ask the provider if she could squeeze me in. She came back to let me know that they met their quota for the day. And could not see me. The girl at the front desk even gave me a number and the address to another clinic down the street. I left there confused thinking that I'm pretty sure this is not how a urgent care clinic works. Thank you for your time. read more

I have seen plenty of doctors for a variety of reasons. I came to this clinic for a distressing and urgent matter that at other places is usually met with generic treatment and insensitive impression of care. However, Dr. Rava and nurse Kim are by far some of the best healthcare workers I've had the privilege of being seen by. Dr. Rava gave me a sense of trust and comfort, listened to everything I had to say and gave me a thorough customized treatment plan. They were so understanding and empathetic. I was so surprised and happy how everything turned out. These people want to help you as much as they can. I loved this place. Definitely recommend. read more

Worst care I have gotten so far. Went for a cough that wasn't going away... they literally spoke to me for 5 minutes (three people in the room at the same time) and I walked out with nothing but a $239 bill and prescriptions that did not make my cough any better. My provider was Karr not too sure if she is a PA or NP because she didn't even bother introducing herself to me. I have never felt so rushed in and out like that before. If you care about your money and your health do not come here because it is apparently obvious that they can care less about you. They make you pay about $35 initially but do not be fooled because they will bill you $200 a month later. I pay way less for a walk in visit where I am originally from and they actually give me more than 5 mins of their time so not too sure how this place thinks they deserve $240 for such low quality service. read more

I always wondered why this clinic is empty. Last week I walked in after having a horrible headache after an excercise class. It was literally empty, 3 employees up front all on their phone. I let the young man know my symptoms, he cut me off and asked for id and drivers license. He then goes to the back, comes back and says "the provider" said I need to go to eye doctor. I said "why an eye doctor"? He said the "provider" says it sounds like an "eye" problem .. RIDICULOUS! I ended up at the ER and it was a migraine headache caused by dehydration. Been here 3 times already first time was good bc I scheduled it in the morning. after that all the appointments that were urgent it was bad. they took some test for one of my daughters then sent me to the big hospital at transmountain. then they threw away her test results so they did the test for nothing. it would of been helpful to have those just to rule out somethings at the ER. Also if you schedule your appointment here be prepared to wait 2 hrs just to be seen. I'm not sure if they are short staffed or the providers are taking too long to write their patients note. this place needs to be evaluated on its functionality. Will return but to see another NP not Abigail she stated that everything was ok with my daughter nothing wrong when we had gone in for ear aches and bad cough nothing prescribed and myydaughter has been in pain since then. Went in with a very bad cough, chest pains, doctor didn't give me anything but ibuprofen. I asked her if she was gonna give me an antibiotic shot or some medication and she said I didn't needed any. I paid a copay of $75 for nothing. Will never go back! read more

I called here and specifically made an appointment for COVID testing (as instructed by my primary care physician), which they confirmed. I arrive the day of my appointment and they take my co-pay. Despite numerous symptoms and me living with a person that is confirmed COVID positive, Janeth Carolina Moldes, FNP-C refused to administer a COVID test--the sole purpose of my appointment. Terrible/rude nurse practitioner and medical assistant (Luis Sianez)--and this is coming from someone whose father is a physician in town, so I have a soft spot for healthcare providers. Will likely never return to this clinic again, which is sad considering how close I live and how much business I have referred to them. read more

Terrible service. Waited for two hours and wasn't seen. Made an appointment and they took walkins before me. Ridiculous.

I gave them one star, that was as low as I could go. There was no doctor, immediately upon entering the room, the np said there was nothing she could do, even before she asked her first question and before she did any physical examination at all. Everything they knew at the intake and if they could do nothing they should just say so and be honest enough to not take our money, no such luck. Then the np did some perfunctory poking and checked my wife with her stethoscope and reaffirmed she could do nothing and reaffirmed she had no diagnostic equipment. We left, with no diagnosis, nothing, and won't be back. The only good part was there was no waiting....should have been a clue. This place should be arrested for impersonating a real clinic, hope that's a felony read more

Abigail Martin, N.P. was the worst N.P. I have ever encountered with! She has NO bedside matter! She does not know to speak to people. She yells, I wish I had read the reviews before I went. She disagreed with medication I was given my grandson for his allergies, that I brought at Walgreen, which was a over the counter medication. I was tying to explain to her that I was following his pediatrician advice . She proceed to tell me that it was wrong and that why she was telling me, I told her I would let my grandson's pediatrician know what she said. She rolled her eyes at me, and walked away! I felt this was a waste of my time, my grandson still does not feel any better! I guess, I will wait til Monday and call his physician. But I do want to give high remarks to the front staff Richardo and Lina, MA they were wonderful. I can't say I will never go there, I will just call ahead and find out which provider is working! read more
