I tried good rx for the first ever for a UTI which i never get. They responded and put in a prescription for me within 30 minutes. I chose Upper Valley to pick up my UTI meds because it is close to me. I went at 1pm during normal hours. There is no sign saying how to access pharmacy. I stood in line waiting to ask how to get my prescription. The girl tells me that the pharmacy is closed. I ask, oh, what are the hours? She says 8am to 830 pm but they were closed for an emergency. What pharmacy closes before 1pm for an emergency? I will never visit this office again. ​ read more

The PA José L Rincon is the worst. He does not listen to patients. He blatantly disregarded what I was saying & decided to shoot me up with things that haven't helped me. I used to recommend this place, but I would not recommend this place anymore. I am calling tomorrow to make a complaint. Do NOT see José L Rincon unless you want to pay for being ignored. He walks into the room with the attitude as if he is a god & ignores people. He says "I know" in response to something he knows nothing about, he doesn't have my files & he didn't ask any questions, he didn't even touch the area I complained about. read more

I would first say the staff and nurses are some of the best people I've ever met in the medical profession. They are attentive and professional and caring. Doctor Manish Rawat bar none has got to be one of the best doctors you could ever ask for. Professional, patient, caring, humble and extremely knowledgeable. Unfortunately like every work place you have your bad apples. P.A. Jose Luis Rodriguez, Jose L. Rincon and Martinez are by far some of the worst people in the medical field I have ever encountered. Unprofessional, unethical, vindictive and unapologetic. Their ego's by far surpass their accumulative medical knowledge put together. They have refused to treat my kids when I came to UVUCC when they had over 101 fever. They have dismissed my children's sore throats as nothing of concern. I've literally had to pick my 13 yr old son up and take him to another clinic. And when brought to their attention they became more vindictive and vengeful. Since their arrival at UVUCC I noticed a huge decrease in morale for the staff and nurses at UVUCC. Because of these bad individuals I have lost a lot of respect for people in the medical field. I still use UVUCC because of Dr. Manish Rawat and Dr. Tiller who unfortunately is no longer there. I honestly can say from friends and family who still go their Dr. Manish is literally carrying the clinic. I respect that man immensely and entrust him completely with the care of my children and family. He has never let me down and a very humble man. read more

Came into the UCC for an ear issue on a Sunday afternoon. I thought maybe some ear wax or something-wasn't a big issue but I wanted to take care of it. The staff here just doesn't seem to be happy working on a Sunday afternoon. Receptionist appeared to be very sleepy and was slumped over the chair. The medical assistant was sort of dry but not at all unpleasant. I have to say that the PA that saw me just seemed angry. came into the room, not a hello, not "my name is.... I am going to be helping you today". Looked in my ears and said "you have an ear infection ". I attempted to ask a relative simple question. He was not having it. His reply was " as I said, you gave an ear infection!". I thought to myself, wow this guy is not happy at all that I wanted to ask a simple question. He walked out of the room with his parting words "stay here!" as if I was going be going anywhere. Here I am 30 minutes later sitting here in the room waiting to be discharged. I have been a nurse practitioner for the past 12 years and a nurse for 23 years and I would have never thought to treat a patient like this. I'm not angry but saddened by the actions of the staff. I have many options available to me with regard to healthcare as do we all. I will be making some better decisions about seeking out urgent medical care in the future. read more

I arrived on a Sunday Morning with upper respiratory problems.While the waiting area was full, I was seen in a very timely manner. The P.A. That I saw was very thorough, testing me for flu, covid and RSV. I was then treated, prescriptions called in and on my way home within an hour! Definitely recommend ! read more

Office staff is aloof and lazy, no service provided I completed the entire registration process through my phone. Although they were eager to take my co-pay. and I had to ask for a receipt while the attendant was on a call barely looking at me. I have been here before and was treated much better. Every time I go to the urgent care center I feel awful but everyone is quick, kind and makes me feel better. As a nurse practitioner, this urgent care center is my preference for all urgent care needs for myself and family. From my home I pass by two free standing ERs and two urgent care centers to get to upper valley urgent care center. I will not go anywhere else. The best PA is Jose Rodriguez. The front office staff, medical assistant staff and Dr. Maniah Rawat are all wonderful and I owe their quick assistance and expertise towards still having a finger. I severed my finger and drove to the Upper Valley Urgent Care Center. I walked in, told the front staff I cut my finger off, and was in a medical room within a minute. Dr. Rawat was straightforward and professional. His medical staff offered me water and had me lay back when they noticed I was close to fainting. My finger was stitched back on in a matter of minutes and very very well. Dr. Rawat, as urgent as the matter was, even stitched through my nail bed to try and keep me from losing my nail. He also communicated with me while working on my finger. X-rays were taken almost immediately after the stitches were in. They followed up with me and Dr. Rawat went as far as ensuring I was setup with an appointment to see an orthopedic surgeon the following day. I am so so incredibly thankful for everyone who was there that night. This will be the only urgent care center I recommend to anyone I care for moving forward. read more

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL CARE. We were first greeted by a sweet nurse named Amanda. Portugal. She was so kind and patient toward any questions we had and offered compassion and support as we were anxious toward our situation. The nurse practitioner that followed, Norma carpenter, was just as patient, kind, and understanding. After my mother relapsed with covid aftermath effects , I was nervous about taking her to a place where she wasn't cared for like she needed to be. This staff and the overall experience was truly amazing for both my mother and I. During this pandemic especially , it's important to receive the best care you can when it comes to both your health and anxiety that follows. This clinic not only treated my mother with the best care they could but also with compassion and love. It made us feel so much better about the situation and even had her come in shortly after for a follow up. This staff was truly great and I couldn't recommend this spot more. read more

Ok so for some reason my son didn't have enough medicine to finish his 10 days as prescribed by the person who saw him. Wouldn't you want your patient to finish their 10 days? Instead I was told to make an appt for a follow up?? Umm he's not finished with the treatment, there's not enough medication I think that's bad practice. So the doctor denied giving him 10 or 15 mL just to complete his 10 days. End it says there's a partial refill why would that be on there did somebody just make that up? So I feel like they don't want my son to get better thanks a lot for nothing! read more

They are really very good, but my last visit took almost an hour to be seen and it wasn't even busy. Perhaps, they should offer free coffee or tea while someone waits with their sick loved one in the waiting room! I'm upgrading my first review from a 2 Star to a 5 Star! They have completely revamped their service and build out the facility -I have been there twice in the past 6 weeks and the service has been excellent! I would not take my sick dog here if you paid me ! Run as fast as you can. Took my 1 year old son who had a fever of 103.7 , diarrhea , watery eyes , runny nose , and two ear infections . They did 3 different nose swabs to test for RSV, Flu, and Covid. They also checked his heart rate which they said was extremely fast and they stated his oxygen levels were really low. He did end up testing positive for RSV and they advised us to go to the Childrens hospital. So of course we are panicked and we rushed over to the hospital as instructed, all for the hospital to tell us that his oxygen is fine and that if he did test low the ambulance should have been immediately called by upper valley urgent care. There is nothing they can do to treat RSV , and they gave us amoxicillin for the two ear infections which is something that the urgent care center could have done. So now we are struck with a hospital bill all because upper valley urgent center didn't want to do their job. When I called a few days later to get the test results for the covid and flu swab they said they had no record of him getting any tests done . So be careful because apparently they are not only scam artists but they also are irresponsible with clients health records. When I asked if they were still going to bill me for the visit they said yes. I said how is that even possible if they don't even have record of my son visiting them. Will probably have to battle it out in court . read more

After insurance I had a $28 balance for a visit for my two year old. This is after I paid my co-pay at the desk and left. I never got a bill in the mail. However, they did call and threaten to send me to collections for my $28. I laughed, because it seemed absurd. "Would you really damage someone's ability to get a mortgage for $28?" Can't say enough good about this place. Have brought my family here for years for everything from sickness to injuries to sports physicals for my kids (though I don't know if they do those anymore). Always helpful, professional, courteous staff - from the receptionists to Drs and PAs. It is impossible to see our PCP on a walk-basis for illness or injuries - so this is our go-to provider for urgent care. They have x-ray and most diagnostic equipment you'd need. I have a great deal of confidence in the medical care provided here - they've always fixed us up quickly and thoroughly. And don't be misled by all the pop-up Emergency Rooms in El Paso. Check your insurance - Emergency clinics charge an arm and a leg and your insurance may not cover it completely, or leave you with an enormous co-pay or deductible. Urgent care at Upper Valley has always been covered by my insurance as though it was a primary care visit. read more

My daughter has bloody mucous and swollen throat and is in pain. waited 2 hrs which I understand people are sick -but when she got in they tested her for covid and flu both negative and nurse shadae m. refused to give her anything except cough medicine which she had no cough and a mouth wash - I as a concerned mother spoke to nurse shadae and said something is wrong she needs an Antibiotic and she refused -I asked for a doctor and she said there were no doctors. I asked for a second opinion and she said sign back in- meaning another 3 he wait -no offer to help my daughter feel better what do ever - but they did charge the insurance and get our 50 co pay so disappointed and my daughter is still sick can't swallow and swallowing blood. My boyfriend was there last week he received a shot and antibiotic-same with same throat issue . What can I do ? Nurse did say come back in 3 days but my daughter has a job also and we are here now. Do not get covid test there. They get you in, take your 50 dollars, run your insurance and promise to call. I had to call them five days later and they never sent anything in writing. I took my infant son there because his butt rash started bleeding really bad. I was scared, the wait was no longer that 10 minutes and he just gave me advise. Showed me the right way to take care of rash and also didnt charge me because it was so minor and nothing was administered. We have used UVUCC for a few years. They are time efficient and fairly priced, and the providers are professional and listen. The extended and weekend hours also make them a good option when our primary is not available. The only down side is that on one or two occasions one non-licensed staff member was somewhat dismissive. But overall our experience has been very good. read more

I have to say I'm perplexed anyone could have one negative thing to say about an urgent care facility that not only doesn't make you wait an obscene amount of time unlike a visit to the ER but treats you like literal family and once with you spends a great deal of time and effort with you making certain your diagnosis is accurate and goes above and beyond to help you get well and on top of it all schedules follow up check ups just to be certain you're in tip top shape?!! My 6 year old son and I were treated by Norma Carpenter and Kelly, a male godsend care provider who give injections like he has angel directed hands, and who is immensely knowledgeable and is certain you fully understand even minutia! From the moment you're taken in you know you aren't just another number but a valuable asset to the facility! You can't ask for more kind and courteous staff, who truly care about you, and seemingly want you to actually get better...! I will never go to another urgent care /ER other than Upper Valley Urgent Care where I can be certain I will be cared for like family! read more

I needed IV antibiotics for a kidney infection. I was seen by the provider in less than ten minutes. Every single person we met was helpful, caring, cheerful, and incredibly skilled at their job. I wish my PCP's office ran this efficiently. I couldn't be more impressed! I had my IV and walked out with my prescriptions in less than two hours. I don't visit the Dr very often. I take pride in taking care of myself, eating healthy and exercising. Every staff member that addressed us was very respectful, professional and quickly addressed every question we had. Dr Rawat, Manish on staff was amazing and very attentive. If every minor emergency was equipped with staff like this, nobody would consider a hospital before a minor emergency visit. The bedside manner of every staff member that walked into our room was so considerate and nice. Long story short, i smashed my thumb in a car door and was in a lot of pain, thought it was broken. Once Dr Rawat made a hole in my finger, i could move it again. Such relief after the procedure. Being from out of town you never want to think of needing medical help, but i am grateful for this little urgent care. I have no insurance so we discussed monies before anything was done.
