If you want to miss your medical appointment, this is the medical transport company for you! I am confined to a wheelchair after a surgery for a broken leg, I booked MQMT to transport me to my follow-up appointment with my orthopedic surgeon at Huntington Orthopedic in Pasadena. I was assured by James over the phone that my scheduled pick up time was 1:00 PM (for a 1:45 PM appointment). No confirmation was received, so I phoned James the day before my appointment to confirm my scheduled transport. James told me everything was still on, and assured me I was "in good hands". The MQMT driver arrived 26 minutes LATE, and I was forced to reschedule my appointment (doctor allows only a 15 minute grace period for late arrivals, and it would not have been possible to reach my doctor's office before 2:00 PM). This company is TOTALLY UNRELIABLE, and I will NEVER do business with them in the future. I lost my appointment because of MQMT. I would give this gang a 0-zero stars rating, but unfortunately the 1-star rating is the lowest option to me. read more

I used MedQuest for pickup for cataract surgery in the West San Fernando Valley. Very reliable and professional with well-equipped vans for any type of patient. My needs were minimal, but it seems they're prepared for just about any eventuality (though I don't know about the medical credentials of the drivers). MedQuest was PERFECT! It was hard because I didn't have a definite discharge time OR day They flexed and made it happen! The EMTs were terrific. I had a total knee replacement and I didn't want my leg swelling up for a long time. I have big terra cotta tiles outside my place so it would have been a fall risk. I found out the next day the elevator near my unit and corridor was in repair so I would have had to walk around complex. I had to get home from UCLA to Pasadena and it took 75 minutes (would have been longer if not for MedQuest!) They gave me bed to bed service. Will absolutely hire them for my next knee surgery. I just wanted to thank your team for the wonderful experience we had in getting my Mom from her room upstairs at our house to an urgent care, for x-rays and a CT scan, then to the hospital ER. The dispatcher was so nice and he made the process of booking the service and making the payment so easy. The team in the truck was courteous, professional and had the exact right equipment for the circumstance. The urgent care visit took longer than expected, but the guys waited patiently, then easily adapted to our change of destination. I cannot express my gratitude to Tony of MedQuest Medical Transportatm. My mom had severe edema (most likely caused by medication) in both legs, which made it difficult for her to move safely. I wanted another medical evaluation, but felt it is probably better to have her transported to the medical center in a gurney. Not knowing where to look for a medical transportation company, I decided to research Yelp. It was surprising to see the number of companies! As I scrolled this list, I stopped at MedQuest Medical Transport and decided to read the reviews. Without hesitation, I called for assistance. Tony answered and I explained my dilemma. He immediately started to make calls for transport availability and finally found one to arrive in a couple of hours. When I told mom that transportation was arranged, she decided not to go and asked to call her primary doctor instead. After a half hour speaking with her, I finally gave in (I cannot counter my 90 year old mom - lol) and called Tony to cancel. When I explained my mom had decided not to go to the medical center, Tony was SO understanding. His professionalism, honesty, and care of others is truly appreciated. Though I was unable to use MedQuest services, I HIGHLY recommend this company. Excellent service from initial call for transportation to final drop off. The vehicle used is just as shown in the photos here. Clean, well kept and equipped, comfortable. Driver and partner were courteous, helpful, well spoken and neat in appearance. I was being transported in a motorized wheelchair, and instructions given to roll onto the lift ramp and into and out of the vehicle were concise and simple to understand and follow. Safety was obviously a priority every step of the way but never emphasized to the customer. It didn't need to be because it was truly baked into the service. From start to finish I never doubted I was in very good hands. Everything top to bottom was first rate and done with an attitude of "No need to worry, you're in the best hands possible." Myself and caregiver accompanying me never doubted it. The transport itself was safe and straightforward, the driver safe and skillful at maneuvering the large vehicle in traffic without disturbance to his passengers. Would recommend using this company for your wheelchair transportation needs. Everything...and I mean everything...was done professionally and courteously with a confidence inspiring "no problem" attitude. And there were absolutely none. No issues whatsoever. We requested a stretcher transportation for my father and were so grateful for the level of care they provided from our phone call to the actual transport.
