The rational for street parking is because I had to drop a friend off at the Asthma clinic and I walked to the CMD. So I did the physical and all went well I also brought papers to get a blood pressure monitor. Finally I did her X-rays on my finger because my finger was slammed in my car door when I got out. Well! How'd you slam your finger in your own car door, one might ask? Well I was distracted, okay, okay. Okay, I wasn't minding my business. I like to observe my surroundings for my safety. Well, I guess I'll chalk up scanning my environment for safety, it didn't work well. SMH! The other staff and doctor that I dealt with provided compassionate care and kept me informed. It was a good visit. Doctor Lee gave me my results on the X-ray. All is well with the finger just tender to touch, Doc says take Tylenol and ice. (Since you don't know me, I did it). Maria says this is the process to see someone else first to get yet another referral for a surgeon. Why am I seeing 2 doctors? I need a Hip Surgeon Expert for court not a pain management dropout. If my lights don't work, I don't call a General Contractor or a Plumber to fix my electric and pay them for an unnecessary visit....I call an Electrician! If there is a chance for possible surgery, you see a surgeon. Then the surgeon will recommend pain management and or rehab. Both times I requested a flu vaccination, advised that my insurance does not cover vaccinations administered at an urgent care and that I would pay for the service. Both times I paid for the vaccination upfront and have the receipts. As part of the lengthy registration process, I was required to provide insurance information. Both times, LevelUp billed my insurance for services I was never advised of and when my insurance denied the claim, they came after me for it. It gets worse because there is no easy way to resolve this with LevelUp. They continually send me TXT collection notices that don't allow a reply, the phone number on the TXT notices does not pick-up and the website the TXT refers to is apparently a third-party agency that can collect but not help with resolution. If this were a legitimate transaction, a issue like this would be easy to resolve. Given that this is the second time this has happened and LevelUp's obtuse collections procedures, this seems outright fraudulent and recommend avoiding this business.

I went to AG Urgent Care in Jamaica on Saturday 14 Oct 2023 feeling quite unwell - aches and pains,…read moreshivers and shakes and also quite severe back and shoulder pain. I was seen by Latoya Betton who listened to my chest, took vitals and said I had the flu and prescribed anti virals. What she didn't do was tap on my chest which would have revealed that I actually had pneumonia. I also question how she could have listened to my chest and not heard pneumonia given by that stage I actually had quite severe pneumonia. The severe back pain should also have led her to contemplate this and to order a chest Xray - but she didn't order that. She also said my temperature was normal but failed to put together that I was taking both Advil and Tylenol - which I was and which I told the nurse. That is - my temperature in the clinic was medicated. Later the same day, the pain in my back got so bad I had to go to Emergency where my shortness of breath was also noted immediately and they were immediately concerned, ordered a chest Xray, CT Scan and other tests and determined that not only did I have pneumonia but that it had developed into Sepsis. I was admitted to hospital for 5 days altogether, lots of IV antibiotics and other things. Had I not got to Emergency, given sepsis had already started, I could have ended up in septic shock and died. Latoya Button failed in her care for me. She failed to diagnose pneumonia and failed to clinically avert to what my symptoms could suggest or order appropriate tests. I called AG Urgent from hospital on Monday 16 Oct 2023 to complain and have this matter escalated as I was concerned for patient care at the center and wanted to ensure no one else had my experience. I was told I would be called back for follow up. It's a week later now and no one has called me. Based on my experience, AG Urgent Care is unconcerned with actual patient care or experience and I would strongly advise against visiting the practice and especially warn that Latoya Betton may get your diagnosis wrong - and it could devastating.

I made my appointment via zocdoc and the clinic subsequently called me to confirm and get my insurance information. Check in was a breeze and the waiting time wasn't too bad. I got all the routine checkups and met with Dr. Liu. She's seems extremely knowledgeable and cares about her patients. She listens to you if you have any questions or concerns. I didn't feel like she was trying to rush through the appointment like how I've felt at other doctor visits before. They set you up with a patient portal where you can create an account and log in to see your lab results. This is the first time I'm experiencing the use of such technology at a clinic and needless to say, I'm very impressed. For the followup, I was given the option of an in person visit or a virtual visit and I chose the latter so I won't have to deal with the busy streets of flushing and the headache of traffic and parking in the area. You aren't given a specific time for the virtual visit, but just a range of a few hours, since the doctor calls you when she has time in between patients. I wish that the virtual visits were more coordinated, but other than that, overall I had a positive experience.
