The course itself was in great shape. It is a very peaceful environment, and even though there were many others on the course that day, we still felt like we had the place to ourselves. We were never rushed by groups from behind, or slowed by groups ahead. And this is a course that can be enjoyed by any skill level of golfer. Now that we have had this first experience at Hartford Golf Club, we cant wait to go back again. This has now become our go-to course.

All the weddings that I've been apart of the venues always did what they could to make sure everything went off without a hitch, and within reason.We observed after the wedding party got their food , that some of the workers helped themselves to some of it too without consent of the wedding party.Also their staff in the bar served two minors shots one of them was my son who was 18 never was carded and didnt even have his wallet with so he should never have received anything to begin with and the other was a brother of the groom who was 20 and also never carded he recieved multiple alcoholic drinks without being accompanied by any adult.Im not expecting any bar or place that serves alcohol to babysit minors ,just do their job in carding so they dont get served.Over all like I said it's a nice looking place but you need REAL LEADERSHIP to run a place like this and make it fun for all guest. Management Failed this time, hope they figure it out, if not I hope Mayville wont sell it to them.

It's a great vintage bowling alley with a lot of character -- not a big flashy place, which honestly adds to the charm. They have 8 lanes and it worked really well for the event. We bowled for the fundraiser and they also used the large side room for a big raffle and gathering area, which was perfect for the group. It made it easy for everyone to hang out, socialize, and participate in the raffle between games. We didn't eat while we were there, but we did have drinks and the service was friendly and attentive even with a full crowd in the building. There's also a patio area that looked like a great place to sit when the weather is nice. Overall it was a really fun atmosphere and a great place to host a fundraiser or small tournament. Definitely a Cedarburg spot with some classic bowling alley charm.

We decided to check out a local alley for my kiddo's 9th birthday. We had an hour to bowl since…read moreleagues were coming in later, which was fine. He had three young kids with us and an hour was plenty. The guy at the counter quoted us $27 and said we pay after. 30 minutes in, the lane broke. It was fixed in a couple minutes. 45 minutes in, the motor on the ball return died. The staff member tried to fix it. Ten minutes later, he turns to the other family and offered to put them on a different lane (but they were full and lanes were about to be taken up by the league), but told them the motor died. We stood there never given any info while the guy went back to go bartend. My husband went up to pay since we figured that's that, even though no one wanted to talk to us. When my husband went to pay, the guy tried to charge him almost $40, which was more than quoted, and us not even finishing one game. After my husband disagreed with the price since we were there less than expected, had a broken game we couldn't even finish, we paid half. No apology (fully understand they can't control an electronic component, but some kind of sympathy is just being human and a good business person). I was more upset that we didn't get any kind of communication that our game was cut short and there was no solution. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

Which for some reason is hard to find around here…read more Satisfies the winter clay busting itch. 18$ for 13 stations. 10$ for a golf cart, which really isn't needed, but on damp days it's nice to have the option. Or for folks that might have a harder time getting around. Can get muddy at times. Not too hilly. My only gripe if I had to have one is their website says "automated" which to me implies no human interaction is required to launch the clays. I was expecting voice activated launchers or some other means besides "someone has to push the buttons". Which is fine. Not sure how they'd get something like that into the middle of nowhere. Just doesn't really seem automated. I guess it is in the sense I don't have to physically throw the clay myself... And one more last little gripe is the ammo is about 10% more than I'd want to pay, and the cocktails are super light on the booze. So much so you're way better off having a beer or two after you shoot, than looking for any kind of mixed drink. So the solution is: if you're gonna come more than a few times get the card to make it 13$ a round. Bring your own ammo unless you want to support the club more. Rent the cart on crap days. And never order a cocktail. That makes for a perfect time. Excited to go back.
