We called the Meek's Family ChemDry folks in Georgetown, TX, set a date and time for them to come and do our entire carpet. Their young man, Dylan, showed up right on time. He vacuumed the entire carpet, then prep'd everything for the cleaning. He was methodical, effecient, polite & friendly. He told us exactly what he was doing during the entire time and when he was finished he asked us if we had any questions and told us if we found anything unsatisfactory after he left to call and he would come out first thing tomorrow to get it fixed. We had our carpets cleaned. Not something that you do every day but certainly something to think about. Our carpeting is twelve years old and still in good shape but we could see the heavy traffic areas. This company is very responsive and really easy to deal with. It is a family business and not a chain. When the technician arrived, he gave us three options. There is a basic option, just clean. There is a second option that includes a stain blocker and a third option that includes a deodorizer and sanitizer. We chose the latter option and are extremely happy with the results. I'm in the process of moving into my 1st house and coordinating all the different pieces involved. I just did my final walk through today after the sellers cleaned my home and before my 8am appointment with the movers tomorrow. After seeing some discoloration and issues from wear and tear, I knew that I had to try and get my carpet cleaned while it was still easy with no furniture to move. I was advised that it would be 2-3 days, but their office contact offered to reach out to her team and see if she could make something happen. Within the hour I got a call back confirming availability for 5:30 same day and was taken care of for a more than fair price. The chemicals/system were important, so I wouldn't have any moisture in the carpet before placing furniture. Jeremy was professional, courteous, and set realistic expectations for me. He also didn't make any comment about the appointment time, as I'm sure this cut into his personal time. He was only polite and focused throughout. Meeks came through for me, and were able to fit a square block in a round hole with a hand tied behind their back. After we experienced a water leak in a bedroom we discovered a nasty stain left where wood finish from a chair bled onto the carpet. We tried every carpet spotter we had and it didn't even budge the stain. We had resigned ourselves to having to replace the carpet when we decided to call a professional. I used this company 6-9-2017 to clean all the wall to wall carpets in my home. Mike removed all the stains and now my carpet looks new. Their process uses much less water so dries in 2 hours. They measure and charge $.40 per square foot. I will use them again. I plan to turn into a Japanese and always leave my shoes in the garage. I have used this particular Chem Dry on a few occasions and they do execellent work. Overall the Chem Dry process is highly recommended and I can tell you from trying other franchises of Chem Dry that all are not created equal. This Chem Dry franchise is my choice for carpet cleaning, trust me I am very picky! My only disappointment comes from the pricing or I guess I should say the lack of clarification on pricing. I did not know there was a minimum square footage of 300sq ft. So when I was reviewing my charges (granted after the tech left) I added up my package, .65 cents a square foot times my actual square footage 246 did not equal what he charged me. No one from the appointment person, who I told them exactly how many rooms I had, to the technician told me there was a minimum. I love their work and am very happy with the cleaning but it just would have been nice to know before thats all. read more

Chem-Dry did a great job on my carpets. I had a few puppy accident areas and they are completely gone. Another carpet cleaner could not get them out, but Chem-Dry did. I also like that it dries so fast. I will definitely use Chem-Dry again - especially for stains. read more

I wish I had taken a "before" and "after" photo. My 13 year old couches looking quite slick! Unlike many upholstery cleaners they do not use soaps that make upholstery clean immediately but then start collecting and attracting dirt. So this will be a long term solution, not something that lasts a year or two. read more

I had an "Art Silk" rug that I thought was ruined by my dog's anxiety attacks. I met Kenny Meek's at a Sun City vendor fair, and although he was a big apprehensive, he said he would send out a sales rep to take a look at it. The rep came out and did a spot treatment, and said he thought they could help. I was SO impressed at their service and pricing, along with the fact that the rug was 99% better looking than it was. I just had Meek's Chem-Dry come to clean a pretty serious problem on a carpet. I actually spilled, yes, spilled a ton of cat urine from a collection tray system I've been using for my cat. I've never seen so much cat urine in my life. Kevin, The best carpet tech I know, cleaned it out of the carpet and it's been drying for 3 or or days now and you can't smell a thing! Cat urine in small amounts is really hard to get out of carpets and I'm so happy about the results. He also cleaned some spots on our carpet where our big 90 lb dog lays that were pretty soiled and he got everything out of those spots too. The carpet looks and feels new. Try calling them next time. On the day of the appointment I was contacted twice to keep me posted on the status of the technician. Since you are given a 2 hour window of when they will be arriving, these updates were very helpful. Shane, the technician, was very professional and thorough. Our carpets came out fantastic, much better than any steam cleaning company had done in the past. Every time I've had the carpets cleaned by other companies, they always leave some sort of residual waste in our yard/driveway. I couldn't find a thing after Chem-Dry left. Very pleased with the overall experience with Meeks Family Chem-Dry. I called them on a Tuesday afternoon to request a free estimate and they were able to send someone out that evening AND to accomodate the time I got home from work which was about 6pm. He was very professional and didn't rush through anything even though it was the end of what I am sure was a very busy day. He was very thorough, even getting down on his hands and knees smelling the carpet in some of our 'troubled' areas. Very impressive! He provided us with an estimate and they were able to schedule us that Friday morning. I didn't personallly meet with the tech who cleaned our carpets however when I got home I could tell a complete difference in the look, feel and smell of our carpets. We have two dogs and one of them has pottied in the house more than I would have liked to known so we included the Pet Urine Removal. I honestly didn't think it would make that big of a difference but I was wrong! It is almost like our carpets are new again. I discovered they forgot to do our master closet however I called the following morning and they sent someone out first thing Monday morning.
