The previous contractor had left it with visible drywall screws wide exposed cuts, etc. It looked terrible. After panicking because our countertops were scheduled for installation and looking through Jasons Yelp photos, we knew we needed to get on Jason's schedule. He books out sometimes 3 weeks, and this was last minute. We ended up delaying our countertop installation by 3 weeks in order to have him do the work. Waiting for Jason to do the work was 100% worth having a plywood island top for those 3 weeks. He showed up on time and got right to work. His cuts are precise, and the extension he built looks like it's always been there. We ended up hiring him to extend our kitchen cabinetry to the ceiling and add crown molding to it, as well as add trim pieces to our cabinets' blank sides before we had them painted. We also hired him to modify and install a wood hood over our stove top. Everything came out perfectly. We are more than impressed with his work and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. This guy is a professional and the best kind. There was not one bad surprise with him. He even gave me some tips, as I was filling the cabinet handle holes prior to getting them painted. They came out perfectly. Thanks, Jason!

Jason was friendly, fast, and the end result was excellent. His prices were refreshingly fair compared to three other quotes we received from other drywall contractors. TOWN SQUARE FLOORS. - LAWSUIT We contracted with Town Square…read moreFloors in Georgetown, Texas to install tile on our patio and front porch. About 2 years later we discovered dozens of loose and some broken tiles. Mr Bizzell (owner) came out this one and only time and tried to convince us that the ice storm was the cause. Being naive we originally accepted this, later discovering that this was not true. Over the next couple of years the problem got much worse. Tiles on the steps leading to the front door and back door came loose and broke. A painter stepped on another edge tile and it broke and caused him to take a painful fall. During this time my wife underwent several serious surgeries each requiring a wheelchair, walker or cane. It was far too risky for her to use either the front or back door as she would have had to walk across all the loose and broken tiles, then step off where the tiles were completely loose and broken. We live in Sun City, and her senior friends were apprehensive about coming over to visit and assist her during rehab. As the tile and health issues continued to deteriorate we both called Mr Bizzell numerous times seeking help. He refused every time. Our last call was from my wife while she was using a walker, and Mr Bizzell refused to even talk to her. We then gave him written notice of the hazard and he still failed to respond. Reluctantly we went to Small Claims Court. Mr Bizzell employed a Legal Firm dealing in Construction Law. Despite the huge disparity in legal expertise facts are facts. The Judge ruled against Town Square Floors and awarded me 100% of the repairs and 100% of my court costs. As of this Review, Town Square Floors has ignored our request to honor the judges decision, and continue to blow us off as they have from the very beginning. It makes us wonder how a company that is so clearly responsible (and confirmed by the Judge) for the defect has no problem, just walking away and leaving the customer holding the bag. Maybe even worse is how Town Square Floors appears to have no remorse for their treatment of a 75 year old severely handicapped woman. What are the priorities, ethics and moral values of those operating Town Square Floors?

We had them replace existing hardwood through out the entire home with luxury engineered hardwood. Their communication was exceptional, especially since I was living out of town during the remodel. They kept me informed every step of the way, and their professionalism, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and execution were second to none. Our hardwood floors turned out absolutely beautiful, and because of this experience, I've already hired them for additional projects. They're truly a dream to work with. To top it all off, their pricing was better than other companies we considered, yet the quality of their work was unmatched. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Soleil Floors to anyone looking for a company that genuinely takes pride in what they do.

The floor makes the house look brand new, and the attention to detail and respect for all the items in our house they moved was above and beyond what I expected. One small complaint was that they chipped areas of my wall in various places, but this was after informing them that we were going to repaint the walls ourselves. We didn't mind the wall damage due to that, but I would recommend communicating your needs clearly like we did. Excellent work!

My new floor tile has a pattern, and the backsplash tiles were 2.4" x 8" ceramic hand glaze ceramic tiles, and so neither would be easy to install unless the tile installer was very skilled. I thought the review photos on Yelp showed Eliab already has an extensive body of work done well, and I loved that he specializes in tile so I knew that he should be very competent at it. And he and his guys Salvi and Rafael were excellent! They worked hard and did very precise work. That was a ton of cuts and joints to line up perfectly with all that subway tile, and it looks wonderful. The cuts around light switches and power receptacles: also precise. He was as good as his word about showing up, doing it right, and cleaning up as they went. He earned my trust, was good to work with, and I would happily hire him again. I definitely recommend! I will post pictures for now as is - but keep in mind the construction is still going on so they will not look as great as they should. I'll try to remember to update our photos when the remodel is truly done.

UPDATE: Your…read moreresponse is not accountability. It is damage control, and it is misleading. You keep trying to reduce this to a "misunderstanding" about the plumber, but that is not what happened. You recommended and coordinated the plumber as part of the project, and the plumber stated that you already knew the correct rate. Yet I was quoted a lower amount up front, which made the situation feel like a bait-and-switch once the job was already underway. You cannot bring someone into the project, benefit from the job, and then act like his pricing and your communication had nothing to do with you. Your claim that you did not leave anything unfinished is also contradicted by the photos I uploaded. The kitchen tile work was not completed. That is not an opinion. That is visible in the photos. Your latest claim that you "only charged for what was carried out" is also misleading. I paid for the majority of the kitchen tile work, and the kitchen was still left unfinished. Saying you did not charge for the uncompleted portion does not erase the fact that I paid substantial money toward a job that you did not complete, then had to hire another contractor to finish. The most serious issue is that you were supposed to return the following week to finish the tile work and dispose of the tub. I texted you to confirm the schedule and materials. You did not return my calls. Then you did not show up. That is not a misunderstanding. That is a no-call/no-show. A professional business owner does not ignore a customer, fail to show up, leave visible unfinished work, and then publicly try to rewrite the facts. This was a horrendous experience involving misleading pricing, unfinished work, ignored calls, a no-show, and added expense. Homeowners should look closely at the photos and be extremely careful before allowing The Good Tile into their home or paying them for a project.
