2012 is the year of technology - at least it is in my office. My colleague and I are leading the charge to upgrade our current technology platform. We just completed our first implementation, a new CRM system, two weeks ago. Our old CRM had been in place for over 15 years and was a lifeline for our firm's biggest profit center; in other words we couldn't afford to screw this implementation up. When our consultants outlined their recommendations for interactive training sessions, I got worried. Currently, we're not a mobile office; with little exception, everyone's work machine is a desktop. I didn't anticipate asking employees to drag their desktops into our conference room or instituting a "bring your laptop to work" day being viable solutions. Panicked, our consultants suggested we rent machines - something obvious that had never occurred to me. A Google search led me to Meeting Tomorrow, a Chicago-based company that provides computer, AV, and even rental solutions nationally. After perusing their website site and reviewing the few reviews on Yelp, I made contact - admittedly a little hesitant. Their website has a chat feature; I was able to quickly explain my needs and received an initial quote. I was put in touch with an account rep, Anthony, when I was ready to move forward. Anthony was amazing! Based on our needs, he gave us a better deal than I was expecting, in terms of both price and rental period. Since he was a national account rep, he was able to use my order specifications for the rental our Denver office needed to place. Anthony was very responsive, all of my questions were answered quickly; from quote to payment everything was smooth sailing. He had our machines delivered early to ensure we had them in time. Our project had me so harried, I nearly forgot about our rentals; fortunately, he didn't. A crate of Lenovo laptops - each in a laptop bag - arrived well in advance of our scheduled training. When I tested each one, I was thrilled that they connected to our wireless network without issue. At the 11th hour we made the decision to push our go live date back two weeks, which changed our entire training schedule. Concerned, I called Anthony hoping to extend our rental; it was no problem, Anthony gave us the machines for another three weeks (more time than I needed). Within the hour I had a revised agreement and the price increase was very reasonable. The only hiccup came when I returned the machines, but it wasn't Meeting Tomorrow's fault. The shipping crate contained return instructions and zip ties to reseal everything. Missing my chance to arrange a pickup, we tried to send our order back through our local FedEx store to avoid a late return. Frustratingly, they refused the crate, wanting to repack it at a ridiculous cost. Fortunately, Anthony again came to the rescue; he pushed our return date back a day, so that I was able to schedule a pick up an not incur a late penalty. We have at least two more software implementations planned for 2012. I'm not sure if we'll need more laptop rentals, but if we do I wouldn't hesitate to call Meeting Tomorrow again; they're aces. read more

Do NOT use this service. I called for rentals and the customer service said they would definitely be able to provide the rentals and that when would call in the next hour. 11 hours passed and I called again and then the agent said the other agent lied and they could not provide that service that day. I politely said it would be helpful to be told that earlier and they should train their staff to provide the right information. She then hung up on me. This place is a waste of time. This put me in a very challenging position to get the equipment I needed. Do not use for your business as they are unreliable, rude, and clearly don't know what they are doing. If you want a reliable service use another company. You can see from the many 1 star reviews reflected in this. read more

The sales lady tried to rent me 2 monitors 30"/each for $1000. When I told her about the price on their website ($175 per 1 monitor) and asked her to break down the total she mentioned, she responded that she could not break it down for me because it was a package... Weird... The funniest thing is that I purchased the exact same monitors on Amazon for $470 (total for everything including delivery)... :) read more

I don't have enough kind words to say about the team at Meeting Tomorrow. I run a business that is very seasonal in nature. And this year, the world was kind to us and we saw way more business than we were expecting....unexpectedly...in a very short time. We had to staff up QUICKLY, and then stock that brand new (and short-term) staff with laptops so they could dive right into work without any delays. Naturally, I was a bit of a mess because I had no idea how to make that happen on top of all the other stuff I was juggling. But then I found Meeting Tomorrow and they saved the day. Seriously, these guys should wear capes. The entire process was fast. Like, Jimmy John's fast. The rep hooked me up with the exact computers we needed, loaded up with the programs we needed. (To be fair, we run remotely so all we needed was Microsoft Office... but still. The fact that we could just get that without the hassle of dealing with Microsoft was already a #win for us.) My team was working on their new computers within 24 hours of this entire thing starting, and the Meeting Tomorrow team checked in on my multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly, etc. I can honestly say that my company would have lost business and money (and more than a few of us at HQ would have lost our minds) if not for the Meeting Tomorrow crew. These guys are the real deal and I will be using them exclusively from here on out. read more

I can't begin to describe how useless this company was. I'm 12 emails deep with a rep who keeps insisting on a sales call. One would think that a company offering the latest products in technology could handle a transaction via email. Welcome to 1998! I logged into their online chat and asked for a rep that would answer my questions via email and what did they do? They connected me back to the same waste of time. A colleague recommended them to me, and I'm glad he did. I rented laptops for one of my events. Maggie was an excellent representative. It was nice to work with someone so helpful. I also liked that the laptops we ordered came with mice, mouse pads, cases and chargers at no extra cost. The laptops were in good condition and I appreciated that the operating systems on each one were clean. There was a small issue with one of the laptops, but it was swapped out pretty quickly. read more

I called at approximately 7pm and I picked it up the very next day. I found Meeting Tomorrow online and wasn't sure what to expect after submitting a form. Got a call back in a few minutes, which was really nice! The person was extremely knowledgeable and helpful because I knew nothing about AV. Turns out thought I needed a projector and screen a lot larger than I actually needed. I'm happy they didnt try to overcharge me and instead have me a quote for exactly what I needed. The technician on site was professional and efficient, and they sent reminders during my event and were available afterwards. I highly recommend this crew! And apparently they're nationwide so I will look to find other ways to use them when I'm doing presentations outside of Michigan. read more

After shopping around and getting frustrated with online forms and voicemails, I chose to work with Meeting Tomorrow for our last minute event needs. They were helpful, friendly people who followed up quickly and delivered on what they promised. Pricing was a little higher than our last event, but the quality was much better and it ended up being way less than what the hotel quoted us. I've worked with Meeting Tomorrow a few times in the past year for equipment rentals. My Account Executive, Maggie, has always been responsive and helpful, with a sense of urgency I appreciate. With our needs, sometimes things are a little variable until very close to the execution times, and her (and her teams) flexibility in helping us make it happen has been extremely beneficial. We had one little hiccup, where some of the equipment didn't work, but Meeting Tomorrow worked with us to a) replace the failed pieces immediately, and then b) gave us a credit for the trouble. read more

I'm based in NYC but Meeting Tomorrow supports my company's meetings and trade shows no matter what city they're in. We use them because they make the hassle of getting and setting up equipment easy- especially at convention centers where it's normally a big pain. Their staff is helpful and technicians have been knowledgeable. I appreciate I can pick up the phone anytime and have my audio visual issues taken care of asap! I used Meeting Tomorrow for the first time a week ago. Our company was attending a trade-show in Las Vegas and needed iPads for the event. The Customer Service I received was bar to none. The first rep I spoke with asked all the right questions in order for me to make an informed decision on the exact type of equipment I needed. They worked with me to have the items expedited to my home address to ensure I had the units on time. They provided all that I needed for the return shipment to make the process as easy as possible. During the entire process, the level of communication was superb and required no additional follow-up on my end. I received the confirmation from the sales team on my order via e-mail, a confirmation of the shipping notification with tracking numbers, a follow-up confirming delivery, a reminder e-mail about returning the units and finally a follow-up to ensure they met my expectations. On top of all of this, they offered the most competitive rates compared to several other vendors I spoke with. They did a great job for my event. I had never rented a video wall before and I found this company through a basic google search. I got quotes from a couple other companies as well. All the pricing was pretty similar but I chose meeting tomorrow because they seemed to be asking the right questions. Ultimately the cost was a bit expensive, but we had a lot of important customers at this gathering, so it seemed worth it. I used Meeting Tomorrow for the first time in July for an off-site conference I was managing. The conference center wanted $9000 for what MT charged me $2600. Definately worth going outside the conference center - don't let hotels scare you and say you can only use their people. I also had an issue with the size of the screen I ordered since I didn't realize how large my room would be. MT had a bigger screen delivered and setup before the meetings the next day. I called their 24 line the night before and they were able to assist me right away. I will definitely be using them for my conference next year! read more
