Had other SMP artists warm me about him and having to complete his work, but Daniel seemed to have good reviews at the time and the initial consultation and first service went well. Moving forward into my second SMP session, I would shave my head prior to arriving at an appointment to make things faster for SMP, and I would get a call or text with excuses that 1.) his house burnt down, 2.) He was not feeling well, 3.) Had to make a last minute trip to Miami for business. While some personal issues may be true and warranted (having sympathy for him during difficult times), it was too many to count. He then stopped communicating with me and never completed my third-session...not fulfilling his services. Nothing upsets me more than being ghosted and my money stolen. Overall, based on my personal experience, I don't recommend him. Look for artists who showcase professionalism and not broadcast how much bling they have on the Internet. For someone who has had such a great run in this business, I don't think the excitement or passion is there anymore. As a last note: I've noticed his business name has changed several times over the past few years and the one on Google doesn't match his Scalp Allure website

I have not seen any other artists capable of producing results like Daniel. He is very passionate about his art & helping others. Daniel has changed my life for ever with his scalp micro-pigmentation procedure. I have never felt as confident & handsome as I do now. I could never repay him for what he has given me. When doing a procedure like this you want only the best. Daniel is the best there is without a doubt. Do not choose any artist besides Daniel Yerenburg at Scalp Allure.

I would travel for this luxury. The spa is in a building with a bunch of other small hair salon businesses. The lobby area is small, you can in when you're there and she will buzz you in. She was finishing up with a previous client. Her salon is very cozy! Love the ambiance and you felt immediately zen. Anna Mae also has a very calming demeanor which is nice. She was very sweet from the start and throughout the entire process making sure I was comfortable. She offered me snacks and beverages as well. She started by looking at my scalp up close with her camera and I was shook with how much build up and nasty stuff was on my scalp. I'd been having itchiness and flakiness for the past 6 months so that's also why I was really looking forward to this scalp detox. She taught me so much about things I can do to better my scalp help which can go such a long way. She also shed light that the products I'm using are harming my hair which I would've never known. She's very knowledgeable and it was relieving to know what has been causing my scalp issues and how to fix it. She did a did deep scalp detox and cleanse which was very relaxing. Some of the solutions felt tingly on my scalp but I liked that feeling. The vibration scalp massage was my favorite part. After she did the entire scalp detox and treatment, she showed me the aftermath and all the build up was gone. You could even see new hair follicles already which was crazy. After she showed me that, she blew out my hair and made it all pretty. She recommended I come back in 2 weeks to follow up and see the progression. if I continue to see her within 6 weeks, the scalp detoxes are free which is nice. It is expensive but it's worth it. The scalp detox is $155, and the deep cleaning was an extra $125. The blowout was $65.

Parking & Location This was located at a strip mall so the parking was plentiful. It was a huge parking lot so I see no one having issues finding a parking spot. This was located in a suite of salons located in Woodbridge, VA. Ambiance The entrance was very secure as it was double doors and you needed to call your stylists before being granted entry to the actual suites. In between the double doors is a small sitting area. I used the directory to dial Anna Mae and she responded fast. She was out to greet me within minutes. I followed her back to her private salon where I was surprised to see that there were no other clients. Normally, at any salon you'll have one person under the hair dryer, another waiting, and one still in the chair finishing up. This was already a plus because it was a custom experience. Experience She begun by introducing herself to me and showing me as well as telling me about her certifications. She is not only a Licensed Cosmetologist but also a Certified Japanese Head Spa Specialist. Next she offered me snacks and chai tea....happily excepted all of the above. I mean these were the good snacks, kind bars, Olli Pop soda, RXBAR protein/granola bars, and fresh chai tea. She explained the service options and possible add-ons. I opted for the deep cleaning option. Then she brought out the camera and showed me my scalp that I do not grease but looked like it hadn't been washed in a long while. She proceeded to take me over to the shampoo table, yes you lay down to get your hair washed. She provided me with a steam warm eye patch to place over my eyes, and I got under a big cozy blanket. She put a pillow under my legs so I would be comfortable. She was very gentle as I have type 4 natural hair and she took her time to separate my hair into sections, detangle, and used her finger pads to scrub my head. As if that was not enough, she asked permission to massage my feet and later my back. Consent is so important and she definitely understood that. Of course I agreed and was basically in heaven. I believe the massagers were percussion massagers so they had some power to them. When I was all washed, I went back to the chair and received a scalp massage as well. Then she showed me my scalp again on the camera and explained the treatment to me. It looked like someone else's head based on the earlier video. I could even see where some of the follicles were trapped and unable to grow from the previous build up and had now been freed (if that makes sense). I opted for the blow dry add on because why not. She'd been so gentle with my type 4 hair and I figured I would milk it. LOL the experience was immaculate and Anna Mae was a wonderful stylist!! Ten out of Ten would absolutely recommend her services. I will be back for special occasions or treats :).

Do not go to Hair Studio 5 for CNC hair bonding -- save your money and protect your health…read more I spent over $6,000 on a CNC system at this salon, and it was one of the worst decisions I've made. The bonding product they used was not the official CNC adhesive -- it smelled like toxic glue and left me with a severe scalp infection. My lymph nodes became inflamed, and I had to go on antibiotics to recover. When I went to another salon, I was told Studio 5 has a reputation for cutting corners and using off-brand products. Here's what you should know: The system is expensive and high-maintenance. It never felt comfortable, didn't look natural, and required constant, costly upkeep. In hindsight, a well-made lace front wig would have looked better and been far less stressful. Your scalp cannot "breathe" under the piece. Despite what they tell you, it can't. My skin became irritated and inflamed within weeks. CNC hairpieces don't last forever. At most, they'll last two years -- and that includes needing to send them back for repairs. During that time, they'll encourage you to buy a second piece to wear while the first is out for servicing. You have alternatives to bonding. Gwen only presented bonding as an option, but other salons have since shown me safe, non-damaging methods like tape, which can stay secure for days at a time. Bottom line: This salon took advantage of me when I was at my most vulnerable, just trying to find a solution for my thinning hair. Please do your research, get second opinions, and don't let anyone pressure you into something that could harm your health.
