I planned a spa day for my husband's birthday well in advance. The day before his appointment, I received a call informing me that the esthetician who performs the facials was sick, so that portion of his appointment would need to be rescheduled. Although I was annoyed, I chose to make the best of it and keep the remaining services. About an hour later, I received another call from the spa saying his appointment time had to occur at a later time than I booked. After multiple changes, inconvenience, and uncertainty, I decided to cancel the entire appointment. I requested a full refund. I spoke with the manager, and the owner personally called me to apologize and assured me that I would receive a full refund. I appreciated the apology, accepted it, and moved on. Imagine my surprise when I received my credit card statement and discovered that I had been charged the full amount for a spa day that never happened. I immediately contacted the spa and spoke with the manager, but the explanations I received for why the refund had not been processed were unconvincing and frustrating. After everything that happened, I should not have had to chase down money that I was already promised would be refunded. I'm now being told that I will actually receive my full refund. That remains to be seen. The entire experience has been frustrating, to say the least. Customer service isn't just about apologizing, it's about following through! Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be patronizing Sensory Sentiments again. To the owner, manager and staff...DO BETTER!

She told me which products to stop using and which ones to incorporate in my routine. Though Dedra sells PCA and Dermalogica products in her office, she never pushed any of them on me. When I felt I needed products with concentrated ingredients she advised on which products from her Dermalogica and PCA inventory would work best for my skin. Most people would try to sell you as many products as possible. Dedra informed me of all the ingredients in the products she selected for me and let me know how they interacted with each other.
