I took a different taxi company from the airport, but was unimpressed with the state of the taxi, and I had to wait forever. Once at the hotel, I called up every cab company I could find on the internet. Several of them had out of service phone lines, and the rest just didn't pick up. Finally, I found Anytime Taxi. The gentleman, whose name I sadly can't remember, picked up the phone right away. I ended up using his services everyday for the duration of my trip. He just started the business a few months ago, so he wasn't taking credit cards yet, but I was happy to pay him in cash. He kept a clean cab and was very organized, keeping a meticulous planner with all of his prearranged pickups. He also provides receipts, which I needed to expense the trips. He was joined by his sweet daughter on a few occasions, as he picks her up from and drops her off at school. She appears to be very polite, much like her father. Assuming his schedule allows, I will exclusively be using Anytime Taxi every time I'm in Binghamton. He his prompt, courteous, and professional. If he is going to be late, he will let you know, and if you need to adjust your pickup time, he gives a realistic expectation of when he'll be able to come. I…read morehad a ride scheduled to a doctor's appointment and not only did the driver show up 30 minutes late, he overshot my driveway and tore up my lawn. There was no apology at all for picking me up late or making me late for my appointment. The return trip was worse. I called dispatch to notify them that I was ready to be picked up, and they told me it would be 20-25 minutes. An hour later, my ride still hadn't shown up so I called dispatch again. The operator didn't even say hello and impatiently barked that my driver was almost there, as if I was inconveniencing them. Sorry, I thought the entire point of a transportation service was to provide transportation? I don't know what dispatch's definition of "almost there" is, but another 15 minutes went by before the driver finally showed up. The driver had the nerve to ask me if I'd been waiting long, and then condescendingly asked me if I was mad at him in a tone like I was a child. Then the driver proceeded to try to blame me for him being late, claiming I didn't say when I'd be done with my appointment. I did, in fact, tell the driver on the way to my appointment that I would be in my appointment about an hour an a half, and the driver was still 40 minutes late picking me up. Then the driver lectured me about how it takes a while to get from where he was to where I was. Yeah, I know how long it takes because I've lived in the area for over 30 years. It doesn't take 40 minutes. There was an additional passenger in the seat up front on the way home. The notice on the window states that I have a right to transportation without additional passengers, so they don't even follow their own rules. The driver then proceeded to drive well over the speed limit because he was late, blared music loud enough that I couldn't even hear my own music in my earbuds, talked on his cell phone while he was driving (not hands-free), and then forced me sign some kind of paper when I arrived at my house. I asked what exactly it was that I was signing, and the driver flippantly told me it was to show he'd completed the ride. I've never had to sign any papers with any other transportation service. But, with how shoddy their service is, I can see why they make their drivers prove they're actually doing their jobs. I feel like I have realistic expectations for a transportation service: competent driving, professionalism, and punctuality. I think that's a pretty low bar to set, and yet, this company fails spectacularly. Don't ever use their service.

The organizers of our trip booked the bus for 9.5 hours and sent our itinerary to you ahead of time with the hopes of the driver having it. When the trip organizer called (Dave) they were given $200 as a refund for the 1.5 hours we returned home early, but that was it! After paying $1800, being set back with all of our reservations, having to be the drivers GPS, and not being able to fully enjoy their time that day! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!
