I've been using Safeway for close to 7 years now and they used to be so good. However for the last…read more6 months or so they have really dropped the ball. I'm disabled so I always use delivery. Lately they just cannot get my order right. Every week I am calling for refunds after they omit items, sub items without informing me, or they give me terrible quality items. One time they packed my bread UNDER the bag of apples, another I rec'd cabbage instead of lettuce, and in another I rec'd cilantro instead of parsley. I love their pharmacy but the rest of the store is horrible for the delivery service. Just today there were 3 items omitted. I cannot shop like this anymore and will be changing my store. This is so disappointing because they used to be so good.

This store is old and dated. It's not tidy. It smells like a seafood market when you enter. In the back of the store where the seafood department is they have open carts with shrimp on ice. I stopped in to buy a Mexican Coke. It's cheaper at Mega Mart down the street, but I was in this shopping area and it's super convenient from my workplace. For cheap produce nearby, you can go to OK Mart across Kenilworth. It's newer and cleaner.

I stopped by for an Amazon return and ended up enjoying lunch--some sushi and pizza--in a relaxed, comfortable setting. The staff was sweet, helpful, and quick to assist when I couldn't find an item. The area feels safe, although it can get pretty busy at times. Luckily, I was able to snag a parking spot in a prime location. Whether you're grocery shopping, grabbing a quick bite, or knocking out an Amazon return, this location makes it easy. Definitely one of my favorite spots in PG County.

There's validated parking in the attached garage which makes it easier. Street parking is very limited! I found the store clean, we'll stocked and organized. I got to sample some pecan pie! The one thing that I do have to say about this location is that it is not easy to navigate. Unless you want to go up and down every single aisle. I came in here with a list of things, some of which would have been near each other, but for some reason were not near each other. It took me some time to grab the items I needed, even with trying to see the signs above each aisle and their general information board. Took me a bit longer than I would have liked. Always keep an eye on the screen when you're checking out because these prices are insane. Be smart with your money -- $5 can make a huge difference in other places. You're better off going to a farmers' market or Whole Foods for fresh, organic produce. This store's pricing just isn't worth it.

This whole process took longer than if I would have done myself. When I was leaving I asked why he checked my items at self check and was told he was trying to move the line. There was no line before I got there or when I left. Customer service was very disappointing. I worked@grocery stores for 20 years and understand how they work and that was just rude.
