The hygienist took a full set of x-rays and she said the normal cleaning (not a deep cleaning) would be an additional $325 because my mouth was not in perfect condition. The direct mailer did not mention any exclusions. And, if you are going to a dentist, how could anyone's mouth be in perfect condition? Offering a new patient special and then excluding normal, healthy people is a "bait and switch" tactic. If this is not unlawful, it should be. I paid for the x-rays and left the office. I asked them to email the x-rays to me. They have not, despite it being a patients right to receive copies of all medical reports. I recommend you stay away from Banyan Dental Care as their office practices violate commonly accepted professional standards.
