Diane was unresponsive, condescending and misled us in thinking that we were going to get a seller credit, knowing full well we wouldn't be allowed to get it. Basically she took $1,000 from us without trying to fix thr situation at all. She refused to let us view the property after our offer had been accepted so that we could make appointments with vendors and contractors. She barely let us get our home inspection done. She knew we were getting our appraisal done and didn't have the smoke or CM dectetors installed, along with not having the water heater straps installed... simple things that ANY RELIABLE selling agent would have done. And in turn, cost us an additional $250 for re-inspection. She was rude on several occasions when she would actually return calls. She made us use her escrow company as a condition of acceptance and when they went to record, the notary "accidentally" didn't stamp the papers dark enough so we couldn't close and had to wait another day. Overall, she just made the experience EXTREMELY unpleasant and if we didn't love the home as much as we did, we would have walked away from the deal. I feel bad for her sellers, as she is so unpleasant to work with. When people are purchasing a home, it'd be nice if the buyer's or buyer's agent got a response from the listing agent. Diane had no regard for anyone but herself and I strongly advise against purchasing any homes with her as the listing agent. She will ruin your home buying process! Thank God for our amazing realtor who made a tough situation bearable and who held up her end of the deal! Stay away from Diane!
