During this time we made 4 separate visits, and were always sent home without answers, Rx's, no tests were run, etc. (Not only that, but our poor child HATED going, as they always grab him harshly and make us hold him stiffly (while he screams and cries) to look in his ears, etc.) So while visiting family in Kalamazoo over the Thanksgiving weekend, we decided to take him to Children's Medicine PC - and I am SO thankful we did!! I was a patient of Dr. Ensfield when I was a child, but only now as a mother do I understand how truly remarkable he and Marilyn Timmer are. They did NOT scare my child, or grab him, or ask us to hold him down while they did their exam. Instead (as I remarked to my husband) they observed and approached him as though he was a wild animal, slowly gaining his trust, playing with him, etc. Once they gained his trust, they were able to look in his eyes, ears, nose, mouth, all without crying, tears, fear, etc. They were truly kind, loving, and patient towards him. Not only that, they gave us MANY answers to why our poor child has been sick for 4 months! They ordered blood tests and X-rays (none of which was ever done in Chicago) and we have several diagnoses, and and were given Rx's for all that ails him. Only two days later, he's already feeling better. Bless these patient and kind people. Marilyn Timmer and Dr. Ensfield are ... words cannot express... AWESOME!?! I now have my grand daughter in their care. If there was an ALL STATE team, they would be First Team ALL STATE in Childcare. There isn't enough I can say about them. From Mono to Broken Bones, Bi Polar Disorder to Staff Infection, they have seen it all, diagnosed it, and cured it. They work with such dedication, thoroughness, compassion, and kindness, it makes you want to cry because they treat you as if you were part of their own family. We have been so blessed to have been able to be part of the their care. Looking out for our health, the timing and willingness to accommodate our every emergency, and taking into account the cost of care in prescriptions ordered (be it over the counter or generic). I owe my kids lives to these two great caregivers, they are truly amazing and have a special anointing by God. They work tirelessly to solve the health, insurance, and comfort issues needed to get the child better and the parents covered. Children's Medicine is "As Good As it Gets". I was having issues with transferring my son's medical records to their office and they were very patient with me re-faxed the medical release form to my former office (a few times for me) without me even having to ask. We've been in twice to see the doctors and both doctors took their time to listen to any concerns I had, I didn't feel rushed like they needed to leave to go see the next patient. The nurses are also friendly and listen to concerns you may have so they can inform the doctors in advance. I've been please with the service here and glad we chose this pediatric office.

They refused to schedule him more than once. they claimed I never called them back to schedule him and that I never sent the medical records to them. They refused to confirm or deny whether or not they had my child's medical records. I sent the transfer in form to them that I had already filled out. They then told me they did have my records but not at the location I requested they be sent to (ON THE FORM and VIA EMAIL). They are refusing to give me contact information to file a formal complaint. I have asked 3 staff members for a way to file a complaint and I am being denied that too. They went against their policy in not letting me bring my son to a doctor. They have a vaccination policy (which I read) and my son was up to date on vaccinations so there was no issue until this office decided to go against their own policy and not confirm or deny information. I was left on "Read" by the front desk staff or nurse who answer the messages on MyChart. They argued with me instead of helping me figure this out. I called and left a message with a supervisor (Brooke) but this office staff is refusing to send me any communication link to file a formal complaint. **If you don't believe in vaccinations, they will refuse healthcare to your child. This is ethically wrong and should be illegal. But at Bronson offices it's their policy to deny healthcare to children and adults based on THE PROVIDERS belief. Keep that in mind before you schedule any appointment at a Bronson facility.

The office is always decorated in every season. They have a nice big bathroom, a place to hang your coats and a gorgeous fish tank. They nurses that take you back are always smiling and answer any question you have. Our absolute favorite doctor is Dr. John Spitzer. He's all three of my kids doctors and I wouldn't ever change it. He's so funny, caring, listen and answers questions the best he can. He never rushes us. Makes us feel so confident in ever question! I highly recommend bringing your kids to this office. At first, I was nervous, but when I went for my first visit (during Covid) I was relieved at how clean, courteous and professional everyone was. Follow up appointments and calls have all been easy as well. I've even been able to email my doctor about a med that he thought I had a refill on that I must have let expire, and he sent the new script in to pharmacy based on all the information I gave him from the pharmacy! I have been very happy with the new facility!
