Megaplex Theater felt like the oldest movie theater I've been to in years. There were only a few luxury recliners, while most of the seating was standard and noticeably worn out. Overall, the theater could really use an update, especially compared to newer locations with more comfortable seating. read more

Upon arrival everything seemed fine, its a movie theater to be fair. They had someone cleaning the floors who couldn't have been older than 13. When we finally got our turn at the counter for concessions the man behind the counter was very hard to understand and we had to ask him to repeat himself more than twice. Despite the young man cleaning the floors, they were still wet and rather dirty. When I was walking towards our theater I noticed there was a ACTIVE renovations with half the theaters being closed. The movie we saw was Mortal combat. The seats were less than optimal for comfort. I most likely will not be returning. There are multiple things that need to happen before I am willing to return. read more

This theater is fine but it doesn't have the luxury recliners. It is just a regular old school theater.

The biggest and nicest theater in St. George. The decor is pretty dated though! The chairs are really comfortable but so close to the one in front of you that there's hardly any leg room. The popcorn was good tonight overall but just a little too salty. A great theater that we come back to when we are in town! read more

For a movie theater you really need to have a very specific things. One of those is space. The seats were so packed together that taller people's knees are definitely touching the seats in front of them. This wouldn't be the worst thing if you never have anyone that needs to leave the theater to go to the restrooms or the chairs weren't so bouncy. Because they are bouncy the person behind my daughter that was tall was getting his poor knees whacked every time she moved at all. On top of that having D box seats or whatever they are called in a theater that aren't all those are just annoying for those who chose not to do them. The seats are loud and causes the floor to vibrate constantly. Just not a fun or relaxing experience. read more

This town is pretty lucky having a theater like this. It's right in a perfect area. In my hometown Vegas we need theaters like this. I like that we can purchase our tickets and snacks through a kiosk. In Vegas we can only purchase tickets not snacks through the kiosk. Maybe someday lol What makes me like this theater more is right when we got into the theater. The bottom area was very spacious and it had some awesome big recliners with tables. Also customer service is pretty awesome. When we walked into the theater we discovered that there's recliners so we wanted to upgrade our seats. The lady at the counter gave no hiccups she was very cool and she upgraded us with no question ask. Good area, good service, good theater. read more

Seats are way too close together, there's no room to sit comfortably, and your chair is very likely to be kicked at least once, if not constantly. Employees have no idea where anything is in concession, then leave you standing there with half your order for another employee to tell you the other half is on the counter on the opposite end. The drink machines were filthy, covered in soda syrup that has clearly been there for a while. There were no attendants in the theater, so people were on their phones, shining light in everyone's faces. Don't even get me started on the prices. Movie theaters are historically overpriced, but at least you (usually) get a fun experience. Nothing about my experience was positive. read more

I am absolutely baffled at the updated pricing I am seeing on the Megaplex website. I think almost every American is aware of the poor state that our economy is in right now, so I truly cannot fathom that Megaplex executives find it appropriate to charge a median price of $6.92 for a soda, and $10.14 for popcorn. Do they realize that the minimum wage in Utah is still a mere $7.25? Considering these numbers, which I am sure the board is also aware of, I find it more disgusting than the sticky floors of the Pineview Theater, which look to have not been cleaned since 2008. When good, hardworking people are bringing home less per hour after taxes than what they charge for a bucket of popcorn, a line has to be drawn. I hope they reconsider their pricing and realize that what they offer is not a luxury nor a necessity. read more

Worst snack bar service I have ever experienced. 10 minutes to wait for a hot dog that the employee could not find. What is going on here???? Poor Management. There have been several other incidents similar to this at least 3 or 4 times before. If you don't want to wait long, you better ask them what is available and ready at that moment. There is a major problem if you don't have a hot dog or nacho cheese sauce available and ready at that moment. Insane. Had to wait close to 45 minutes to get cheese sauce for the nachos on another one of my visits. read more

Nice movie house, chairs are old school in most theater auditoriums. A few have nicer seats you can stretch out your legs and recline. They have a good variety of snacks, and drinks (self-serving too). read more

Can't complain! This theater was typical among theater experiences. You purchase your tickets online or at a kiosk once you enter the building. No standing in the freeze to get your tickets. There was a simple yet well staffed snack bar serving the traditional goodies, such as drinks and popcorn... the theater was tight In seating as far as the chair rows go, leaving no room to navigate entry or egress from your spot once your neighbors have filled in, so, it's best to make sure your cup is full and your bladder is empty before you sit down. Went to a movie today. Seat cushions were threadbare, and worn out. Sat there for 20 minutes and my wife had to tell them to turn on the projector as we could hear the track but not see it. I don't understand how you can charge the prices for tickets and food and not repair the chairs. read more

Last night I arrived at the movie and was left disappointed when I had to miss half of my movie out waiting in the lobby for my popcorn and drinks, No accommodations for a possible refund of the movie ticket or concessions. There were 6 employees that I could see and only 3 doing everything they could to help customers. I waited over 45 minutes and was left with a large popcorn that was not full to the top of the tub and chicken tenders that were BURNT!!! I was very unsatisfied. read more

So now I get to stand in line to use the kiosk and then stand in line to pick up my popcorn. And shouldn't everyone accept cash?!? Went to see the Eras Tour movie. The staff member helping us at concessions was very slow for both me and my companion. There was no line, he wasn't helping someone else, he just moved very slowly (the whole process took more than ten minutes for each of us, for a bucket of popcorn and a cup so we could fill our own drinks.) The prices were outrageous ($21 for a bucket of popcorn and a plastic cup, and we couldn't buy the Eras cups on their own. So if we each wanted one it was another $21!) Ticket prices were supposed to be $19.89 before tax, and we ended up paying $22+ each before tax. Maybe I should have figured other prices would be a little ridiculous as well. I'm also disappointed that they don't take cash at concessions, where I had spoken to an employee when I purchased tickets who told me they DID. The theater looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all between showings. The bathrooms were pretty gross. Megaplex is the only movie theater option we have in my town (the three theaters we have are all Megaplex) and each time I go the experience gets a little worse, but it costs a little more. read more
