I love movie theaters in Utah! I throughly enjoy the fact that you can purchase a seat when you go to the theater and not have to worry about showing up incredibly early to get a decent spot. This specific theater has a lot of great qualities. If you're intrigued about what makes this theater great, keep reading, I dare you. It's heavenly. Heavenly because it is clean and we all know Who is next to cleanliness. Seriously though, the seats and aisles are always swept and organized AND the bathrooms are pristine! They have strategically placed trash cans at the proper places to allow you to open the door when you leave, with a paper towel, and throw it away. Not only that, but if you forget to nab a towel, you can actually open it with your FOOT. Catering to the germ-a-phobes like me, now that's top notch service. Options. They have plenty of movies and times to choose from. You can purchase your tickets online, outside at the kiosks, or inside face-to-face. They also have great popcorn, and nachos, and treats, and beverages. Who doesn't love a good flick with an ice cold soda pop in your right and your lover's hand in your left? (Still working on filling my left hand, until then I'll stick some junior mints in it). There is always plenty of parking, even though it shares a lot with other businesses. The very very best part of it all? $5 Tuesday's. Popcorn, nachos, and drinks are also cheaper on that day too. You could literally live there and just binge on all the new movies . #YOLO TIPS & TRICKS: * If you want a delicious snack, buy some popcorn and junior mints. You wouldn't really think, but those two flavors go great together. * The seats are so comfy, but try to purchase one without someone sitting in front of you so you can stretch out. I am absolutely baffled at the updated pricing I am seeing on the Megaplex website. I think almost every American is aware of the poor state that our economy is in right now, so I truly cannot fathom that Megaplex executives find it appropriate to charge a median price of $6.92 for a soda, and $10.14 for popcorn. Do they realize that the minimum wage in Utah is still a mere $7.25? Considering these numbers, which I am sure the board is also aware of, I find it more disgusting than the sticky floors of the Pineview Theater, which look to have not been cleaned since 2008. When good, hardworking people are bringing home less per hour after taxes than what they charge for a bucket of popcorn, a line has to be drawn. I hope they reconsider their pricing and realize that what they offer is not a luxury nor a necessity. read more

This is definitely my favorite movie theater within a 10 mile radius of St George. The seats are comfy, purchasing tickets online is easy and the staff are friendly. (I recommend the Soft Pretzel, SO GOOD). The only problem I've ever had is that the left ticket machine on the outside was really slow the last time we went to pick up our will call tickets. It took about 10 minutes for 6 tickets to come out. Luckily our friends were able to go get in line and grab their stuff, so it wasn't that big of a deal. If you want to watch a movie in theaters, this is the theater I recommend! :) TIPS&TRICKS: If you can, I recommend purchasing a seat on the back top row. There seems to be a little more leg room, and if you can get one next to the projector you have a little more room to set your stuff down on the ground (like a giant thing of popcorn that you aren't ready to finish) read more

I've grown up going to this theater! I've always enjoyed it. Since changing to Megaplex, it's only improved. We went yesterday to see the new Pirates. The popcorn was so fresh and warm when we purchased it. It was delicious! The only complaint would be the seats. They are so close to the one right in front of you so there isn't much leg room. Ooh boy, this place has seen better days. It's easy to forget how life was before being spoiled by all the stadium-style, state-of-the-art mega theaters everywhere, but after seeing a movie here, I'm reminded of the old days. My understanding is that this old theatre was purchased by the Larry Miller group and they've made an attempt to fix it up. You can tell the place is TRYING really, really hard to be one of the big boys, but it just falls short. The sound is still tinny. The lobby is depressing and crowded. Everything is dingy, worn, dirty, and underwhelming. This is not a location I'd come to as a first choice. read more

Plan ahead of time, they have assigned seating. My friend and I came to see Lincoln last weekend, only to have most of the seats taken up, except in the first row directly in front of the screen, instead if purchasing horrible seats we decided to wait an hour for the next showing. We picked up cupcakes from Sweet Tooth Fairy a few shops away, and hung out until our movie started. Honestly, I'm from California and I had never seen assigned seating in a theater. After this experience I'm still not a fan of the practice, might be a good idea in some situations, but during our showing there were many empty choice seats in the center of rows where people hadn't shown up. Overall it was still a nice theater, clean, and the chair backs rock back if you want them to. However, the movies are scheduled close together, so while it may be a good idea to buy your tickets a few hours in advance for good seats, don't arrive more than 10 minutes early, or you'll be waiting out in the foyer. My least favorite part of this theater is the lack of movie trailers, I love trailers and can expect about 4 at most theaters, here they only play 2. For some this might be a plus, but I love movie trailers! read more

Went to zootopia today at stadium 10. They do a good job keeping things clean and people happy. My kids like the free posters they have from time to time also! The best time to get your bang for your buck is on Tuesday $5 night. Other nights after 5 it is $9.00 so it will save you a few dollars! Always clean and friendly. Cleanliness is one my top priorities when coming in to a theater. I guess long waiting lines would be second on my list. Third is how well the attendant is trained to take my transaction. All three of these are in my top range when we come to Pineview Megaplex Theaters. Once you are seated, you notice the comfortable fit and roominess of the chairs. When the movie starts, the sights & sound really blow you away with their high technology. $5 Tuesdays have been a great deal if you're looking to see a movie. The lobby was huge and decorated nicely. Although nobody was at either box office, the concession people attended to me quickly. The associate greeted me before checking my ticket, and the theater inside was well kept. On my way out, the cleaner gave me a nice farewell. Always an excellent experience. Everyone from the ticket counter to the clean up crew are extremely accommodating and friendly. They have the most show times available throughout the day than any other theatre in the area. Additionally they clearly place a lot of emphasis on the cleanliness of the theatre and it definitely shows! All of this make this by far the best theatre in the St George area. This is the nicest theatre in town. That's not saying much because the competition is pretty weak. If you've been to theatres in other cities then you'll be disappointed here but the rewards program makes up for a lot. Because I frequent this theatre so often along with my club members I feel I can be critical. I really want to support local businesses, and we don't have a lot of choice as far as theatres go. This is the only game in town. Also I will repeat it here, the Washington Red Cliff Theatre is closed. Megaplex has come up with a marketing "idea" to put more seats in the chairs. That's getting customers/clients into the theatres. The demographics of those that always seem to be available are: the retired, independently wealthy, seniors, "home schooled", vacationing students, tourists...all with disposable income. Megaplex offered a multipass for a fixed price (lower than traditional admission). There are summer passes for kids ($10 for 10 movies); then there were Classic Movie Pass ($10 for 10 movies...I'm hoping I remembered that one right), and most recently Best Picture Pass (9 movies all Oscar nominated for $35.00). The idea seems like a really good one. Except for the scheduling on the Best Picture Pass which was limited only to their Pineview Stadium Theatre. Three pictures each week for three weeks. I don't believe in bending the rules in favor of any particular film, especially when all 9 pictures have an equal opportunity to win, we need to have an equal opportunity to see them. The first three played daily throughout the three weeks. By the second week we were down to the next three films all being offered daily at least once. The worst being a 9:05 p.m. daily. I'm not sure in this demographics how many people are still up and about each evening ready to frequent a movie at 9:05 p.m. (not parents, not seniors, not golfers...even home schoolers should be home). Lastly, the final three had, at least, one showing daily, but followed suite of the previous week with the same late night showing having disappeared from the schedule, with the late night being a second showing of a film offered earlier in the day. Without options available to the customer/client the pass won't matter if films are skipped with limited showings. If they want this to work they need to list the times BEFORE the passes are purchased so filmgoers can decide whether it is flexible enough for the purchasers to attend. Do you think you can win a race if you are the only one entered? RED BOX, NETFLIX, GOOGLE, HULU, etc are counting on theatres pricing themselves out of the market. This movie pass, needs a (by)pass if it is to continue being restricted and controlled. No one wants to lose money. In this case you've forced the client/customer to lose by putting the film's showing out of bounds. These comments have already been shared with the theatre's management team. read more

This theater is one of the older Megaplexes, but what they lack in state-of-the-art decor they make up with the cheerful attitudes of everyone working there. The person sweeping the floor, the ticket taker, the concession workers--were all smiles and enthusiasm! They made it really fun to go see a movie!! read more

Just not the best employees in the world. Nobody cares. Nobody moves quick. We arrived 20 minutes before the movie. It took every minute to get a ticket and popcorn. That was standing in one line as you can buy your tickets at the food counter. None of the movies were sold out. Not like a ton of people at the show. On the plus side, it was fairly clean at least. The staff were fast, and the girl who sold us our popcorn and drink was very nice. I went to put some salt in my popcorn and the shaker let out a lot more salt than I thought it would. A few minutes into the movie we realized the popcorn was inedible since I'd dumped so much salt in it. I sent my husband to see if they would give us new popcorn since it was so expensive and they did! He said they were really nice about it too. We came to a 9:45 am movie and arrived 20 minutes early. We stood out in the cold for 10 minutes, while the staff kept looking over at us. We finally went back to our car. Other people showed up and the doors were still locked! The doors were not unlocked until 7 minutes before the movie started. Now we had to wait in line. By the time we and most of the other people got through the line the theater lights were turned down. It was very rood to leave everyone out until the last possible moment. This was our first early movie, but if you always treat your customers like this, it makes you an uncaring business. Shame on you! read more

This location is a bit odd. No one checks your tickets.... it's weird. When we went to see avengers the screen was off cutting off some of the picture. And the sound is quiet. Not like it should be in a theater. Manager should have someone checking stubs and update your speakers or fix them to be way better quality and sound (louder). The employees don't seem happy working there. Maybe have a meeting on friendliness customer service. Check the bathrooms every half hour for cleanliness. It is a decent theater with some potential. The seats are comfy and the restrooms are conveniently close. Popcorn is 6 out of 10 on taste. read more
