    The Little Mermaid

What can I say? A performance with this amazing backdrop with the sun setting and a cool breeze? Yes please! Plenty of parking, a beautiful water feature, food, shops and more. The seating was comfortable with lots of legroom. We came to watch The Little Mermaid, and my favorite part was when the waterfall FLOODED the stage! I've never seen that's before in any kind of performance and it was a great start to the show. I will be back!

Even after living in NYC and seeing multiple Broadway shows in multiple theaters, Tuacahn remains one of the most stunning theater venues I've ever seen. Set against the beautiful red rock of Southern Utah, the lights and sounds that catch and reflect off of the rocks create a unique and awe-inspiring backdrop that adds substance to already talented casts and production crews putting on the show. As of October 2024, Tuacahn still allows you to bring outside food and drink into the theater (they also sell concessions), making it an extremely family friendly venue. The staff I saw were all helpful and friendly, thanking me for supporting the theater. I would 100% recommend seeing a performance here and hope to return sooner rather than later!

The Tuachan Amphitheater is always a fun show! It's great to be able to see some of our favorite characters come to life on stage! The actors do a fantastic job and the way the animals and background are involved in each production is fun. They offer snacks and have a gift shop. Parking isn't bad but leaving requires patience. There is only one way out and everyone is going that way. Everyone will get there eventually.

We attended Beautiful a few weeks ago and the quality of the production was top notch. We visited the cafe with staff that were friendly and welcoming even quick making out food to ensure we could get into our show on time. We ended up being a few mins late and it was the most unique theater experience I've had. The show started right on time, which is great and may have to do with their model to ensure ample parking and less traffic jams. When we arrived however we were let inside but not really guided to our seats which caused confusion for us. I do love that they allow some snacks and bottled beverages inside especially on this really hot day.

These seats are not cheap. But the venue views and the quality of the performers made it worth the price. There are misters and fans near the backyard it is worth sitting there over closer to the front. Food is available as are seat cushions to rent.

Very busy, crowds taking up entire walk ways. This makes it quite miserable for other people trying to walk by. Suggestion, be polite move your big groups further over out of the entire walk way. All that being said, friendly atmosphere, people of all ages enjoying the atmosphere and activities. Lovely Christmas music playing to get you in the spirit and the smell of cinnamon in the air. From November till Christmas they have concessions, train ride, lights, plays, and family outdoor fun. There are churros, nuts, jerky, hot cocoa, gift shop, Cafe and a concessions stand open. Plenty of seating, nice heaters under the Pavillion as well.

If you are ever in St George, Utah don't miss a chance to see a show at Tuacahn. The experience is over the top. With Red Cliffs in the background the stage setup is amazing. They don't spare any expense with presenting the best show possible. We've seen The Little Mermaid, Annie, Beauty and the Beast, and a few others. All were spectacular. The only thing that bothers me is the seats are not super comfortable. You can rent a cushion or bring your own. Some of the seats they sell come with a cushion and a bottle of water. The summer shows start in the evening and during mid and late summer be prepared for 90+ temps in the evening.

I am a frequent watcher of the arts. From high school theater shows to broadway. All I have to say is WOW! I recently saw beauty and the beast. Not only was the costuming and stage absolutely stunning but the performers didn't miss a beat. It was such a professional level of singing and dancing. Some of the best voices I have heard. This is comparing to even the original Broadway cast of wicked. If you get a chance to visit this theater do it. It's so worth the money. My only tip is if it's summer bring a cooking towel, misting fan, and lots of ice water. It is in the middle of a desert after all. Also shout out to the person who made that amazing ball gown for the end scene.

During the visit it was an ongoing list of disappointing food and service. The first night we were there I requested a chicken sandwich with no pesto. Sandwich came covered in pesto and my husband's beer took probably 15 minutes to arrive. There was only one other customer in the restaurant. This was how the whole week went and I would have stopped coming back but I bought the package. The breakfast was better and service was good in the morning by the younger gentleman waiter. He was quick and attentive. I will not return to this restaurant. Very disappointing.

We adore slipping away for lunch and settling onto the patio, where the world softens--shade drapes gently overhead, birds sing as if they've been hired just for the occasion, and time... well, time slows down enough to breathe. The service is nothing short of immaculate--attentive in that quiet, effortless way that makes you feel seen without ever being interrupted. And the food... oh, the food. The bacon-wrapped dates must have been crafted in heaven... or perhaps meant for the gods and somehow gifted to us. The tuna melt was so transcendent I found myself wondering if I had ever truly tasted tuna before... or if I had just been living a lesser version of the experience all along. And the beef bourguignon... my heavens. It was as if your grandmother--if she were also a five-star chef--had been waiting for you, simmering something rich and soulful to welcome you back after a long journey. Even the tea felt royal... and the mocktails were so delightful, so thoughtfully made, that not once did we miss the alcohol. The Painted Pony isn't just a meal... it's a return.

Tucked into the Tower Building, this New American restaurant nails the Southwestern-meets-fine-dining vibe: intimate indoor seating with contemporary regional art, fresh flowers, and soft lighting, plus a charming patio for when the weather cooperates. It feels romantic and relaxed without being stuffy--perfect for date night or a special occasion while visiting southern Utah.c91b9be2267e Service was attentive and friendly without hovering. Our server knew the menu well and made solid wine recommendations (they've got a nice list, and no-corkage Mondays are a nice touch if you BYO from a Utah store). Portions are generous for the price point--definitely not the tiny-plate nonsense you sometimes get at fine-dining spots. We started with the carrot jalapeño soup (bright, flavorful, and a nice kick) and the baked brie, which was rich and perfectly paired with the seasonal chutney and crostini. For mains, the bone-in pork chop and the hanger steak were highlights--well-cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor from the fresh ingredients and thoughtful sauces. The sides (mac & cheese and haricot verts) were solid too. We finished with the key lime pie, which was a bright, creamy winner. One note, though: pass on the crab cakes. They're a menu staple (around $16, served with something like pomegranate salsa or poblano aioli depending on the season), but ours were mostly filler with a noticeably fishy taste. Not worth the spot on the table when there are so many stronger starters and entrées.781e4d Overall, we'd happily return to The Painted Pony. It's one of the better fine-dining options in St. George--great atmosphere, strong service, and mostly excellent food at reasonable prices for what you get. Just skip the crab cakes and you'll have a winner of a meal. 4/5 stars. Recommended for visitors and locals alike. Reservations advised, especially on weekends.

I feel the cleaning staff did a much better job this time and the golf course was finally open. Sadly the golf course still has a lot of issues to work on, in spite of being "finished" for over a year. The golf course itself failed to deliver the same high end service experience the Inn did, and the course also still looked very much under construction. I keep hearing that Black Desert Resort is much better for golf, which is a shame because I know when they open up their accommodations, it will take business away from this lovely Inn. As I understand it, Black Desert Resort will offer a lower green fee for guests at their resort. I really do hope the golf course at Entrada works on some of its shortcomings; combined with the Inn it literally would be the perfect getaway. The Inn on its own is completely fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again; the only problem is I have a husband who plays golf, so that is also a huge consideration for our vacations. The two staff members who stood out on our visit was Lisa and Russ, both of them ensured we had a fantastic visit at the Inn! When we checked in, we were even greeted with a bag of caramel popcorn (what a nice touch). The room is spacious, and the view is gorgeous. We love the fireplace, and the jetted bathtub is fantastic after a day of playing golf. The little kitchenette was so helpful, it came complete with dishes, a mini fridge, sink and microwave. I still do think the units could use a little of an update and refresh, but they are still charming in their own way. The location is great as we were close to Snow Canyon National Park and Santa Clara, both of which we love! Checkout was a breeze and our stay overall at the Inn was top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Inn again, or recommend it to others. If you're looking to play golf here, I have my hesitations (see that review on "Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club").
