The food we ordered seemed to be premade and reheated like it was ordered from Sisco, the restaurant supplier premade and lacking that fresh-made quality. One shining plus was the great music. The bar has a classic rock theme which was demonstrated in the music being played and one of the TV's displayed band album pics. I wish they were running the music videos, even the classic stuff has plenty of videos available.

I just don't understand why people GO TO a place to get drunk, spend extra money on drinks when they could make them at home, pay a $5 entry fee, and then be stuck at that place or risk getting a DUI when you could have had a few beers with the neighbors on the border of your yard and invite passers-by to join in. As I said, I don't get it. That said. I got a good look at the place and how they conduct business as a none profit. I thought about becoming a member at one point, but... I just couldn't shake that it just wasn't my thing. But don't get me wrong, since I don't understand it, since it's not my thing, it doesn't mean that no one else doesn't get it or that it's not other people's thing. One of the times I came here, I tried a Gin Martini, shaken not stirred, because I guess I'm James fucking Bond. And then they had women mud wrestling. I didn't get it. I mean yeah, mud wrestling will get people out of their homes and all but, that's not really the way I meet women. "Hey girl who just got her face thrust into a mud pie. That was super hot. Wanna beer?" See... I just... it just doesn't do it for me. And while everyone was screaming and yipping and all the girls were wrestling, I couldn't help but notice a really rough looking old guy with an oxygen tank recording the whole experience on his smartphone for later fapping enjoyment. It just felt awkward. But hey... to each their own. This is some definition of "cool". Maybe not mine, but... I know a good number of people that run the place and I have to say, they're good, they're honorable, and they're more than well intentioned, they do something about it. They're running a none profit organization in the shape of a bar. And THAT THERE is my definition of "cool" that I see in this place.

It ended up being a good thing for us, though, as we were able to get a good seat at the bar to enjoy a couple drinks and food while taking in the entertainment. The only issue with that was they weren't able to turn off the music for downstairs so that was annoying to hear while trying to listen to the band. For drinks, I opted for the range water which I'd never tried before anywhere but it was great. Perfectly mixed blend of lime, topo chico, and tequila. I liked that it's not too sweet or sour; refreshing. Andy wanted the Maple Smoked Old Fashioned listed on their provided seasonal menu but the bartender said he didn't have the maple and could do the regular smoked old fashioned. We said ok and waited...and waited.... Unfortunately he couldn't get his smoker to work. So Andy ended up getting a 1/3 full rocks glass of Old Fashioned. Delicious but I was surprised there was no discount on the check since he didn't get what was ordered. For food I got the Big Shots Burger, no bun or onion, and andy got the bacon cheddar tots. I forgot to say what I wanted for my side and the bartender didn't ask even though the menu said there were 3 options, one being a side salad which I normally would have gotten over potatoes, so my plate had the standard fries. at least andy enjoyed them. My smash burger patties were surprisingly delicious. Perfectly seasoned and juicy. Andy loved his tots as well. The tots definitely looked homemade as they were ginormous! I stole some of the fry sauce they came with for my burger. It added a nice kick and is the only fry sauce I've had that was actually good. The prices were decent and food & beverages yummy so I'd definitely come back.

The seats: full recline with a movable table for snacks, awesome. Was able to reserve online without having to sign up for any program. Ambiance: there is a "vip" check in area if you buy vip tickets, and they will deliver snacks to you with this package. Perks: unlike "chain" movie places I was pleasantly surprised at the lack or millions of commercials before the movie. Our movie (the odyssey) started within 10 minutes of published showtime AND we got a 5 min "intermission break" that my friends who watched at a Regal/AMC definitely did not (and wish they had, it was a long movie). We loved that we got to do a free trial class to see if my daughter would even like it. We love the safety of the building. There were always two instructors with the smaller children. They have cameras in the studios for the parents that want to watch without being a distraction. We also love the small classes. It feels like they have enough time to focus on each child.
