Do not get the "Luxury seating" at this location. The "luxury" seats are literally less than 20" wide! If you try to cross your legs you will not be able to do so! The side trays keep you boxed in. (I am a short person, so boxing me in means these seats are super narrow!). Never had this happen before! The non-luxury are wider! Great theater otherwise, but, stick with the "cheap seats" if you like to sit with one leg over the other knee, because you can't to it in the luxury section here! read more

Is it just me or is America, dying desperately for good movies? We love Megaplex with their big IMAX theaters and came to see Avatar, which was about what was expected, too long, great cinematography, weak storyline, but entertaining. Not a big fan of the 3D but wanted to see it on IMAX so suffered the glasses. We upgraded our tub of popcorn for the year at $32 not sure we'll get our money's worth but it's nice when we bring the kids. Just wish Hollywood would put out better films. read more

this is a really great theater. My only challenges they double charged me and have no way of getting a hold of a live person. I reached out through their email system and have never heard back. I just do not understand how large businesses do not have a way to talk to a human being? Megaplex was once the "biggest and baddest" in the neighborhood and this is one of their newer locations. Unfortunately the competition is passing them up in a few categories and it's impacting the want to visit their theaters. Seats - What is "standard" at the competition in the way of reclining and comfortable seating is still considered a pricey upgrade at Megaplex. The recliners we had at this showing were also extremely noisy and worn. They were not comfortable. Food - While Megaplex does offer a good selection of food outside of just candy and popcorn (they have pizzas and pretzels at this location) the pricing is just out of this world. There isn't any kind of reward program for discounts, which would be nice. They do offer a refillable bucket that you pay a 1 time fee for and get if filled cheaper. ($31 this year for the bucket tag). Hoping the LHM Group updates the facilities and gets competitive again. It is nice to have options for movie theaters in the area. read more

I seriously 100% LOVE Megaplex and will go to my grave saying it's the best movie theater ever. Here's why: All Megaplex Theaters have points you can earn by simply providing them with your rewards card or better yet, phone number. I haven't paid for popcorn or drinks for quite a while--not only because of the rewards I've stacked up personally but also the random emails and rewards they send out because they love their customers. All Megaplex Theaters have $5 Tuesday, which also correlates with cheap popcorn, drinks, and nachos. (Ranging from $1-$3). And the best part? If you use their app you don't get charged any online convenience fee. (Unfortunately if you go online, you do, so just download it now it won't take up too much room on your phone). WOOT WOOT PARTY PARTY. All Megaplex Theaters have delicious food and comfortable seating. Luxury Loungers? CHECK. D-Box? CHECK. Even their regular peasant seats (which I will happily sit in) are spacious, slightly reclined, and have plenty of leg room. I'd also recommend their loaded nachos with pork and a shake to wash everything down. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything you choose. This one specifically is a little more quaint, but still have a ton of options and movie times to choose from. It's in a convenient location. Great movie - poor customer service. I used the megaplex app to buy my tickets, I bought night tickets to get 4000 points. when the concession person scanned my app he dumped my account. Even though the saw I was supposed to be eligible for my free popcorn. because after what they did I couldn't get into my account. I asked the manager if he could fix my account, he said he could but it would take a few days and I still wouldn't get my popcorn that night. My friend rented out a theater today and invited my kids and me to come along! All staff and guests were in masks. The line for food was socially distanced. The popcorn was the rights amounts of buttery and salty. My kids loved their Icees. The chairs were super comfortable. I liked that I could change the angle throughout the movie when my neck started to get stiff. And everything was super clean in the theater and the bathroom! read more

4 stars only because the last showing, the snack bar is empty of food. One person doing all the work. It took 15 mins for a salted pretzel bites( you only get 6-7)... some other locations offer a full size pretzel. Nachos took about the same time. If your going to sell food- have it ready up until the movie starts, otherwise I'll miss the movie if there's 15-20 people in line. We watched Eternals, in the luxury seats. Online they reserve seats for the box office (walk up), which sucks because I sat next to people on my left and 5 empty seats that were not occupied. First come first serve!!! The restrooms need to be cleaner, and 30 mins of previews and commercials?? Movie said 09:35, but didn't start till 10:00... what a joke read more

I spent a lot of time in Davis County last year, and got to discover some of the local spots. I also got to discover the not-local spots, and as the name "Megaplex" implies, these are big ol' ubiquitous theaters in Utah. If you've been to one Megaplex, you get the feel. We had purchased tickets beforehand. One was through an online booking service and the rest through the Megaplex website (insert rant about inane "convenience fees" here) but it's pretty slick as they give you a QR code and you just bring that right up to the ticket-taker. I will say that on a holiday in the PM the parking was really gross, and you'll probably just have to hoof it ways from where you end up. Other than that, we had a jolly holiday with Mary Poppins. read more

To Management: I fear you've made a big mistake by raising ticket prices. I purchased tickets to the Fall Guy and paid over $20 per ticket (not even IMAX). This is outrageous! I'm a die hard theater movie goer and do everything I can to try to keep supporting theaters, but this has gone too far. Tickets are way overpriced and to add insult to injury you charge me a convenience fee on top of it for purchasing through the app. The convenience is for the theater and their ability to reduce employees/wages when I purchase using self serve, so not sure why I should pay an extra fee for that ability; more like I should get a discount which is what any other industry (ie fast food) does when using their app. The fee is like the appalling recent trend of businesses asking for tips in a self serve situation. My fear is that you've jumped the shark and are driving yourself out of business. The recent decrease in theater sales isn't because people prefer to watch movies at home, but rather because you've made it so expensive that we no longer can afford to see movies in the theater. For your sake and mine I hope you can correct this quickly and get prices back to a level that works for everyone before you're forced out of business by lagging sales. Looks like going forward I will only be attending the theater on $5 ticket nights. Btw, for the gift of purchasing my last $20 ticket I sat in a theater (Legacy Crossing #7) with a screen that had visible scratches down the whole left third of the screen, very distracting!! If you're going to rip me off on price at least make sure you're providing a premium experience. It reminded me of the $1 theater experience back in the 90's. Good luck. read more

It's CASHLESS which was a little pain. The ticket person didn't tell us they had a machine to transfer your cash to a card. And the Pizza Hut Pizza wasn't very good either. The crust isn't pan crust like it used to be. And also the chairs in the movie theater aren't comfy either. I prefer CINEMARK better. Megaplex has gone down in service and quality. read more

One of the best places to watch a new action, romance, drama, kids movie-- you name it!! I love this theater, because you are able to reserve seats when you buy your ticket so you will certainly sit by your friends and family. This theater also has a higher level of cleanliness that most movie theaters lack. I love their comfortable seating which includes lots of cushion, arm rests, and enough room to not feel squished by those you sit next to. I'm clearly a fan of Megaplex over it's competitors, so my favoritism of this being the best theater in the direct area shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. The theater itself is around four years old, so everything is still in great shape. The lobby is in a weird layout as is the actual theater setup, but that's not a huge drawback. The IMAX theater is massive and wonderful and still new enough that you don't hear a rattle when there's a large bass boom. The service for actual food, like all Megaplex's is seriously lacking and takes way too long, so just avoid that if you can. But if not, the prices really are hard to beat. The one drawback here is parking. There is really not enough of it. The location is RIGHT next to a larger apartment complex and a few office parks so during the day the parking lot is well packed and almost worse at night. With my obsession over movies, this will be my go to theater now that I live so close to it. read more

This is my favorite theater close to Bountiful. The prices are right, it's not too crowded, the food is great, the seats are comfortable, and the audiovisual equipment is top notch. I can't think of anything that I would do to change this theater. I've been using the "flash" sloth character from the Zootopia movie in my Yelp pictures for a little while now. This theatre lacks the fancy recliner chairs, but apart from that "wish list" item, this is my go-to theatre. The theatres are clean, have good sound quality, and I can purchase tickets from a kiosk rather than standing in line - a convenience I love and wish they would offer for food ordering, as that is where the issue, mistakes, and unfriendly service encounters have all occurred. If they fix the food service issues and add the reclining chairs, even as an upgrade option, I will have no reason to go anywhere else! read more

Every megaplex theaters speakers are set up improperly. They always have the bass too high, you can clearly hear the speakers rattling. High bass is cool and intense, but when it's so high the speakers rattle... it just seems the whole management is just clueless to how audio should sound, or they always put the new guy on sound. It's like when they set up the movie they say "yeah let's just crank this dial right here, people like a lot of bass... Right?" Also it's not just a slight rattle, it's as loud as the actual sound coming out of the speakers. Also out of every theater I've been to, Megaplex's have the most ad before a showing. It's like might as well arrive 20 minutes later so you don't have to watch those awful "Mr. Generous" ads. those guys are as annoying as injury lawyers with their ads. read more

This theater is a busy place on Friday and Saturday evenings, make sure you arrive in time to find parking. PLEASE don't park in the gravel area - simply go further back towards I-15 where there are always spots convenient to the exit at the end of your flick. I love the fact that you can reserve specific seats at this theater but wish the seats were a little less loved and a tiny bit more comfortable. They work for a single movie but other theaters have the nicer recliners (although the one closest doesn't offer reserved seating). I'll take reserved seating over recliners enabling me to arrive 10 minutes before showtime and enjoy my spot. This theater shows 4-5 previews before the main attraction. The sound here is great and the screens are an appropriate size for the theaters. Pet peeve - please don't reserve your seat and then arrive AFTER the posted show time only to ask people to move, loudly move down the rows and disrupt the viewing experience. Skip your snacks in order to be on time! read more

Decent place to watch a movie. I don't really have much to say about it. The theaters don't feel very clean and I walk away with a general sticky feeling.9 don't think this is unique to this location. This theater is also massive. For someone who enjoys being home, it can be a bit overwhelming, but there really isn't many options unless you go to the small town theaters like the Kaysville Theater (check out my review). I tend to go to the Megaplex over Cinemark because I love using the Atom app to buy my tickets and reserve my seat. Once the Cinemark in Farmington accepts Atom, I'll probably go there. read more

I am in love with this Megaplex. Now I know what you're all thinking. "It's a New location," so it's clean, fresh, and not as busy. However let me say this, Megaplex tends to one up themselves every time they build a location, and they have certainly followed suite with this particular location. The seats are SO comfortable! The food selections are amazing, and way to extensive to go through them all. Let's just say they have a little of everything. The staff is friendly, and eager to help. They have also brought in the D-Box seats. I'm not sure how excited I am to try these, they move with the action on the screen. The jury's out for me. They have installed one option that is great, drive up touch screen ticket, and concessions monitors. What an awesome idea! Go try this place out, you'll love it! read more

WONDERFUL THEATERS! This is an incredible complex of modern-equipped theaters with excellent stadium seating, unequalled flawless superb projection and awesome powerful sound. With it's significant food "court" you can comfortably graze and relax before your show. This super destination is a clean and upbeat place for the whole family plus they have plenty of vast parking. Note: it's reserved seating so buying your tickets ahead online isn't a bad choice. My highest recommendation! read more

I may be a convert to this theater. In the past, the Farmington Station theater has been my "go to". But a week ago I ended up at the Legacy theater because they had a showing that was at a more convenient time for me. When I purchased my tickets I was given a loyalty card. Considering that going to the movies costs a small fortune, these days, getting something back- goes a long way with me! I'm not impressed with the sloppy lobby space at Legacy. This was a nice theater experience. There are no ticket booths so you use the kiosks around the facility to get your tickets and also pay for your food at the concession stands at the same time. Theatre is clean and staff is friendly. The only thing I could see as a problem is they have three self-serve Coke machines where you get your own soda and if it is a Friday or Saturday night, I can see the wait getting long as people linger to make their choice. That could get frustrating but I like the concept. It did feel a little like they have eliminated a lot of jobs by all the self-serve stuff they do but that is business I suppose. Aside from the Arclight in LA, this is the best theatre I've ever been too. I've been here three times so far. Twice I went with my daughter to see kids movies. This past Friday, we went to see Hobbit in IMAX 3D. The theatre is newer so the screens, seats and sound are fantastic. Seeing Hobbit in IMAX 3D was the best experience. The seats are super comfy and recline. You're able to choose your seats when you buy your tickets so you're not without a good seat if the theatre is full. We're not one for fast food, so I can't say much about the concessions. We have had the popcorn and never had to wait more than a minute or two to order. The bathrooms are super clean and the staff has been very nice and helpful. The only downside to this theatre is the driveway is practically hidden and not well lit at night. The parking lot can get full as well. read more

I can't speak poorly enough of this place. SO many commercials from local businesses (get ready for 10 commercials about local banks/credit unions) at the beginning. They only showed 4 trailers and it took 30 minutes for the movie to start. Also, the theatre itself is tiny. Our theatre (we were there to see a newer blockbuster movie) was the smallest I've seen in a long time. We were jam packed in there! Lastly, when the movie started there were a couple of ladies that were talking full volume the entire beginning of the movie. Not quietly, but enough you couldn't even hear the movie. Finally my husband said something to them, and they FLIPPED out and swore and yelled at my husband in front of the whole (tiny) theatre. It was quite possibly the most ghetto thing I've ever seen my entire life! We had to just leave (being yelled at by unacceptably rude ladies) on the way out. Rude patrons, tiny theatre, and thousands of commercials. We went to the theatre in Farmington Station and enjoyed 7 trailers before our movie in a giant theatre. Never again Megaplex. read more

The theater is very nice. It is very well kept and clean. Prices are up there just like any other theater out there. They have a good variety of food to snack on and drinks man I love the drink machine they have it's one of the free style ones (go for the Fanta Grape) The seats in the theaters are comfy and the screens are huge and the sound is awesome. Parking can be a joke sometimes especially on the weekends when the blockbusters come out so be prepared to park a ways away. POORLY RUN concession area. First, there was only ONE concession area of their MANY areas open. Why not open another station if the line is consistently 20 people long and there isn't enough popcorn to keep up with the demand?? The line was very deceiving. It was staffed with about six to eight workers. That seems plenty for a weeknight, right? Wrong. My cashier asks me if I have a rewards card. I tell her I would like one. She directs me to guest services which has the LIGHTS OFF and NO ONE behind the desk at 7pm. I sarcastically say I guess that won't be happening because no one is there and she wads up my receipt and throws it away. Strike one. But the real fun was when I went back in line for a second time for a refill on popcorn. I was with a big group so they had portioned off the large popcorn and emptied it before the movie began. The first preview was still playing so I thought I had plenty of time to get a simple refill. So wrong. The popcorn maker was exhausted of popcorn not once but TWICE while I was in line. Strike two. The staff didn't help other customers who didn't want popcorn. The line just stood still waiting with employees standing around holding empty tubs. Strike three. I finally made to the front after about ten-fifteen minutes and an employee gets my refill. She spills it all over the floor on her way to give it back to me (in her defense, the floor was covered with massive piles of greasy popcorn). The popcorn maker is of course empty at this point so I have to wait another five minutes for popcorn. Another strike. The employees were all hovering over the popcorn maker with empty tubs for customers and commenting how they were too "lazy" that evening to open another stand and have another popcorn maker running that night. Yet another strike to talk about their own laziness while staring at a line of at least 20 customers who are missing their movies and paying ridiculous prices for slow concessions. The employee who was filling/spilling my popcorn had forgotten what I looked like since it had been so long. Huge blank stare. A simple apology at this point for the long wait or the extra long wait because of the spilled popcorn would have been appreciated but it never happened. Another strike. Missed the first part of the movie... I don't enjoy paying $50+ for a group of tickets and another $17 for concessions only to miss the movie because of employees who openly call themselves lazy. read more

We've been coming here for about six months at least once a week... usually on Tuesdays for the matinee special prices. We have the mega tub popcorn and mega mug for sodas as they are a great deal for the long run. This place is maintained pretty well and kept pretty clean. If you get food from the concession stand other than popcorn or what's already made be prepared. Tonight was the third time they've given us a pager and then given our food to someone else, or at least part of our food. Lesson learned, eat before arriving at the theater. Other than that it's a great theater with very friendly staff. read more

I love Megaplex in general. Give me a good rewards program and I will stay loyal. Add $5 Tuesdays where I can grab a $1 mini popcorn and I'm hooked. Movies are expensive and more often than not I find that I wait until the movie hits Redbox. However, good deals make it easier to venture out and catch a new flick. This particular location gets super crowded and their parking sucks. If it's crazy busy just go to the back and walk. There should be plenty of parking back there. Then there's the front concessions. It's a complete cluster of insanity. If you go past the person who collects your ticket, they actually have a small concession stand back there. Go there. Trust me. It's always empty while the other concession counters have lines and lines of people. Seats are comfortable, sound is good, picture is great. All in all, a pretty good theater. read more

This is a really nice movie theater. There was plenty of parking, although the parking lot has a weird layout. We purchased our tickets from the automated kiosk, which was convenient. You can also select your seats and add any concessions so you only have to make one payment. They have a large food court area and the restrooms were clean. The seats inside the theater were very comfortable and they reclined a bit, which my husband loved. The aisles are wide so it's not as awkward when people need to walk in front of you to get to their seats, plus there's plenty of leg room. Edited to add: I would not recommend adding concessions at the automated kiosk. When we got to the concession stand to pick up our order, they had no idea what we were talking about. I assumed that ordering concessions at the kiosk meant that by the time you got to the concession stand they would have at least received your order and maybe have started putting it together. We ended up having to show them our receipt so they could see what we ordered and then had to wait for them to get it (a popcorn and soda cup that we filled ourselves--nothing crazy). read more

The online ticket purchase is convenient but you still have to go through the kiosk for your "boarding pass" so other than a slightly earlier seat selection, you really don't save any time in the process.
