When I received it, although it's a beaut, I was concerned I had made an error since my riding style favors a slightly smaller board than I "should" ride and this would be the longest one I've ever owned. I sent them a chat at 6:30 their time on the Saturday night before New Years. I had a live person within 10 minutes, and they contacted the marketing director. A few questions and they confirmed that I should be fine, why the new board was a good fit, and assuaged any concerns that I had about the returning it for the next size down (which they were happy to do) I had three of the best seasons ever on my first Never Summer, and am stoked to add a new one to the quiver. Taking it out in a couple of weeks and can't wait. I have a couple of other stories about how they consolidated gear orders and refunded shipping without any fuss, the socks they sent me w/o charge in one of my orders, stickers galore, etc.

Not the best but they were busy. HOWEVER, I went back on a less busy day, and Tom in the shoe department was an absolute angel. I told him what I'm looking for and he pulled 3 pairs out for me- size, weight, function that I needed. The second pair I tried fit like an absolute glove and I was in and out much faster and happier. Tom was super helpful and had the knowledge to vouch for this pair of shoes. Yelp Elite put this on, and what a great job Matt and the team did. Astro Coffee was there caffeinating us, phenomenal coffee/drinks. All-in-all not only is REI one of my favorite places to go and just walk around and look at all of the gear, clothing etc but the classes they do are really well done. They were doing double credits for a recycle program so I decided to take advantage of it to get rid of a snowboard and jacket that I was not a fan of. The process was quick and painless. While they were looking over my gear I browsed the shop. They had a section of super lightly used boards, in season items and everything else. They immediately emailed the gift card to me and I picked up a few items a couple weeks after that. The store is bright and airy and reminds me of a lot of mom and pop stores. Music was super faint that day and the store had that new store smell. The staff was super down to earth and friendly while making suggestions along the way. Big shoutout to Matt and Colin for taking care of me! When the riding season gets close I plan to stop by again for gear! Protip: Find a parking lot or street parking on Larimer rather than parking on Walnut or Blake St. The trek is a bit longer to the shop but hey, we all have to get our steps in! haha.

You will need to use street parking or a public parking lot such as I did. It's really not bad at all to park away from the location and get out for a nice walk to the store. You will pass other stores and businesses that perhaps catch your eye for shopping. After finishing up at Patagonia I went to Denver Market for an ice cold beverage. The store lay-out for Patagonia isn't bad. It's clean and organized. Staff aren't so helpful. There were two staff members at the front register. Why one of them couldn't be on the main floor helping customers is a mystery. When going to check out at the register one of them pretty much ignored me then caught herself moments later. Management: please improve customer relations. Don't make interactions so transactional. I walked away with what I wanted but probably should have just used another retailer or distributor to get it. I'm in no hurry to return to this location.
