This is one of the best Kroger's in town, actually with very large selections in the deli, fresh produce, general merchandise, and pretty much any of your grocery needs. Employees are courteous and polite. I really do like shopping here except for the parking lot being crazy. One secret is on the right side of the store. There is a aisle where they put all of their clearance items and also a refrigerator that has refrigerated clearance item so if you're in that area, keep your eye out for those deals.

I think Boar's Head Deli meats are the best deli meats on the market, so I will frequent a store if they sell it. I find it odd, though, regular Kroger's do not carry it. The deli had a large order of Deli meats from me, and they got it to me as quickly and efficiently as they could. While here, I also got some other items I needed like milk, chicken, pork, soda, items from the fruit/veggie aisle as well as a card to send to a friend of mine for her birthday. They also had some beautiful flowers for a great price, which I took home! Shopping here is great, and I recommend it!

I was really excited to try it because it gave the impression of being "International" and i love a wide variety of foods. Just inside the store you find a statue of a lion holding a shield, a statue of Elvis, and a third statute of Marilyn Monroe in her famous skirt scene. I am unsure what this has to do with a supermarket. I then walked into the actual market and was surprised at how much smaller it looks than in the website. I also discovered as I began exploring that its "international" designation is a bit overstated. It does have food from one or two European countries but its mostly hispanic and really mostly Mexican. Was i a bit disappointed? Yes. That said, i did find a lot of food that my culture also loves in here that overlaps. Firstly, i found actual green plantains! Usually in the supermarkets near my home they sell plantains but they are rarely green. To be able to fry some up and have tostones! Yes!!!!! I also found other products my family and I would love including plantain chips, malta, yuca, tamales, Jamaican patties, and croquettas. The croquettas were of the frozen variety and sadly only in chicken, i prefer ham. I was also very happy when I found Pineapple Nectar for my mom. She loves the stuff and hasn't had any since we moved! So i did end up buying quite a bit when I came here and i will likely come back again. My history with Meijer goes back well over 30 years, having grown up in Michigan. Before Walmart…read morehad 24 hour stores, there was Meijer, who opened 24 hours long before Walmart ever started. And then I worked for Create-A-Card (if you remember them), which had personalized card printing in, literally, every single Meijer location. At the time I worked for Create-A-Card there were less than 50 stores. Meijer and I go a LONG way back. So as far as big-box, full-retail stores go, it's always my go-to. Groceries? Check Sweat pants? Check Aquarium filters? Check Windshield solvent? Check Sharpies? Check ..and the list goes on. The staff at Meijer is usually very helpful (if a bit hard to find), and there's never a team member sitting around doing nothing. People who work at Meijer usually have a great work ethic and I don't know that I've ever felt like I was bothering anyone when I would ask them where I could find self-sealing stem bolts. Likewise the store is usually pretty clean. Not like Walmart, where it usually feels like you're walking into a friend's house, but that friend has 4 or 6 kids under the age of 7 and none of them cleans up after themselves or puts their toys away. They often tend to keep the produce area pretty tidy, which is is a challenge because produce needs to be neat and tidy. Who wants to buy ugly produce? There are numerous big-box general merchandise stores, and when I need something -- anything -- Meijer is where I'm headed.

Both Jill and Teresa spent time with me to do measurements and write them down. They're both literal angels. Highly recommend going to them if you need assistance with anything.
