I really like this Meijer grocery store. Meijer is a Michigan based company that originated as a family owned company started by Fred Meijer in 1962. About 20 years ago, Meijer started to pop-up in Indiana and Ohio. This store in Westfield opened a little over a year ago. What I like about this particular store is that aisles are big and the store is super clean. Parking is easy. The staff is friendly and will proactively ask if you need help finding anything. The vegetables are the best, with a great selection of fruits and greens. Prices are great. In the deli, they carry Deitz and Watson meats. And I especially like the Kogel's meat products, which are also Michigan based. They also carry house and garden area along with an assortment of inexpensive clothing. I also like the pharmacy, which seems to have better prices than other pharmacies. They offer a full series of annual vaccines as well. They will text you when your prescriptions are due. This is my favorite Meijer location when I need to make a quick trip. This store is very well arranged in a logical order. It is easy to find what I need, get in and get out. Especially if I use Shop & Scan. I always find the items I need as this store is well stocked. Easy entrance off both Springmill and State Route 32. read more

I've come to this location 3 times in the past week after discovering the Flashfood app. Ayesha K in customer service has assisted me 2 of those 3 times, and she's a joy! She's always smiling and laughing with customers and just has great overall customer service skills. I had a quantity issue with one of my orders, and she resolved it quickly and made sure I, the customer, was well taken care of. I appreciate receiving service like that because it's hard to come by. Someone was at the counter speaking with a manager regarding an issue she had with a bakery item that potentially caused her to chip a tooth (yikes!), but while the manager was off researching the matter (or something) Ayesha and the customer were chit-chatting and laughing. That's how you know she's good at her job! On top of that, the items I've purchased have been of the top tier variety. Newly built within the last two years, this meijer is exceptionally clean and organized. The staff are very friendly and don't seem bothered to interact with you and assist with any questions, which is a bonus. The fresh produce department was stocked and organized. The deli counter was friendly and kind fast to get the item I requested with a smile. The meat department was super organized and very well kept. The gentlemen who assisted me was the one in the photo of the department he was friendly, educational on giving advice for types of cuts for steak like differences between T-Bone , Porterhouse and chuck steaks. This is our preferred store for quick shopping and Meijer has everything we need for our day to day needs. The store is impeccably clean at anytime throughout the day and is well stocked. I utilize instacart too for home deliveries and the services are always on point in terms of quality of items. Service has always been great at the entrance and self service makes things so simple. Personally I feel the prices are slightly higher than other grocery stores around and my bills are usually a little more than what I expect but that's my assumption at this point without any due research. read more

New Super center opened in May 2021. Located at the intersection of Spring Mill Road and State Road 32. This is the largest Meijer store I've shopped at thus far. It has some items not available at other locations. There's a Veterinary clinic inside. No Starbucks. Meijer Express gas station which provide 24-hour access to food and fuel, seven days a week. Everyone was friendly and you get greeted and asked if I needed assistance. I had a very pleasant shopping experience. I e would return again. read more

I visited the newly opened Westfield Meijer today. Although the parking lot had quite a few cars it seemed pretty empty inside. I thought from the outside appearance the new store was similar in size to Carmel but it seemed much larger inside! Everything is spacious, clean and new. I did not see a Starbucks inside so keep that in mind. I shopped most sections of the store and the selection was great and everything was neat and clean. I stopped to get gas $2.66 before heading out - pretty good price for today and compared to Carmel. read more

Today is my 2nd visit. The produce section was MUCH better than the first visit. I'm a die hard Kroger fan but I love the selection of produce here ( also it seems to be less expensive) and their beer selection is much better than Kroger. I would be MORE converted if they did what Kroger does and do gas points on purchases and I get my retail giftcards online towards gas points as well!! Something to think about. read more

Every time I've been in the store it is well very clean. Everything looks great. The prices seem a little bit higher than Kroger though they were to bring down the prices just a little bit. This would be my main store to go to. Everybody is very nice and grateful and I love the fact that they give the kids a cookie at the bakery. I have to say that it was worth the wait. This location has more to offer than any other location that I have been to the 9 years that I have lived in this state. The aisles are big, there's a lot of selections, things are with a should be and I am selfishly happy that it's 5 minutes from my house :) And, this is the 1st time that I've seen a location with a vet! read more

The store is fine, but there was an employee that made my children and I feel extremely uncomfortable. He came up to my cart and started asking me questions about my kids, I became uncomfortable so I started slowly backing away while trying to be polite. Then he started tickling them (they're 3 and 2). My kids yelled no at him and we got out of there ASAP. So I guess if you have younger kids, don't bring them or you'll get harassed. read more

Very rude customer service, the lady was not professional at all and acted like she couldnt do my EVEN exchange until i asked her why and said that didnt make sense. she then argued i could be deceiving them and trying to to get THE SAME product for A DOLLAR cheaper today than yesterday and i was like why would i do that for a dollar? the products were just mixed up in a bin and i didnt notice til i got home. Then she got frustrated and finally showed the girl at the register how to do the exchange and then told me as she rolled her eyes she didnt like MY attitude. well i dont appreciate hers either, and again im not at work and didnt have an attitide with her, i just questioned her trying to accuse me of exchanging---not returning, a food product to profit a dollar...hmm. read more

Really nice store. I grew up with Meijer in Michigan and worked at a couple of the stores in the late '90s so I'm not into these newer stores with different floor plans. This store has the groceries in the back and is smaller than I am used to. It will take some getting used to. The service has been great. read more

It was my 26th birthday on the 14th of May , I walked in to buy some snacks and one pack of high noons for my friends and I. My ID has a tiny crack but still scans perfectly fine and has been accepted by the police, gas stations, dmv etc. the meijer attendants seemed to take great pleasure in denying me service stating that it was the law and meijer policy. They were unpleasant and unkind and I live next door to this grocery store and spend maybe 8-10k a year. All my business will be going to the Kroger down the street. read more

I typically frequent the Carmel Meijer and have been looking forward to checking the new Meijer out. A few notables: 1. The carts are smaller than the other Meijer. This was not great for my huge weekly shopping trip. 2. No meat counter. Plenty of meat though. 3. Layout of the grocery is quite a bit different than expected. 4. Some of the fixtures, like the doors in the dairy area feel really flimsy. Doesn't affect much but it's noticeable. 5. There is not like a whole bunch of cool new stuff to check out and spend my money on. 6. No Starbucks 7. There are baggers. Between the layout and the checkout areas, it felt felt like it a Kroger with clothes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Ultimately I found everything I needed, and found the place pleasant. I don't think I could go to this kroger for my weekly shopping but for smaller trips, this is a go to. read more

It is unfortunate that Meijers does not drug test their workers. My wife worked there for a few months and a worker there smoked weed before work and at lunch. Everyone knew this because he told everyone and he provided where he would get it! This worker was pushing a heavy load and it fell on my wife. He just stood there while others covered him. She told her lead who laughed. She had black and blues on her abdomen. Absolutely despicable! And to have the nerve to ask why she didn't return to work. I guess you can keep the ones who do drugs and we will see how long your company lasts! read more

Beautiful store! The staff are SO FRIENDLY and SO HELPFUL! If this Meijer store doesn't have it, I don't need it!!! LOL! Big shout out to the store manager, Chad, and to my favorite greeter, Carol!!!
