Not a bad Meijer. Came here looking for gifts but ended up purchasing some books I was looking for. One was actually a good find, it was a novella that I thought I would only be able to order online since it is a smaller story that goes with a series, but they started it. Another was a book series I wanted to try. Both came with a nice discount but sadly, not as cheap as Walmart. I have been coming to Meijer again more since Kroger seemed to raise their prices higher than most places. read more

We buy our produce here over other locations near by. Meijer brand meats at the deli have worked well for me. I recently have taken a new liking to drinking Fresca. I can only find it here in bottle format. I use the app to help me shop & find the location of an item. The location markings are very hard for me to find. They don't carry many of the items I perfer. The self check out helpers have always been most gracious when I needed some help. read more

STAY AWAY! They false advertise and the tall skinny lady with glasses that works in shoes that said "would you like to some see" all rude. My daughter likes to lose 1 shoe so I went to Meijer to get diapers and a pair of shoes. Saw a pink pair for $10. They rang up as $16. I told the lady that works self check out that I'd run back there and check and she said no need she will price check. Now standing in self check out for 20 minutes waiting on this shoe lady. For her to walk back there and come back and say they aren't on sale. I work in retail. I'm a shopping addict. She Rudely replied "would you like to come and see" when something is advertised as $10 they need to sell it as $10!!! read more

We shop here regularly, but recently we've had an issue with a recalled product. Our kiddo got a recalled fishing pole last year, we returned it and they apologized, yet THEY STILL STOCK THEM AND THEYRE MARKED RECALLED. Be wary of meijer and giving your children lead poisoning, I guess. read more

Last experience was not good. Did not go back for some time. Decided to give it another try. Some of the employees who work self checkout are the worst. Rude, lazy and not helpful at all. Meijer has everything you're looking for - food, clothing, home goods, etc. There's not much more that can be said about the place.

Not a frequent shopper at Meijer and this experience may be why. I received some coupons from Meijer and they happened to be for products I needed for a family Labor Day party. I'm a 77 year old shopper and large stores present a challenge. Parking is available with many handicap parking spaces. I chose one close to the grocery entrance, grabbed a loose cart from the middle of the next handicap parking space and walked 30 steps to enter the store. Appearances were of a clean, well stocked and very busy store. I was looking for Stouffers Family sized Macaroni and cheese and found the "Frozen Meal" isle. I mentioned "well stocked", but after 20 minutes of looking through frozen food, I couldn't find what I was looking for. I'm familiar with store apps and I downloaded the Meijer app, used the search function, found the isle (had been there) and tried to decipher the item location code. The location number tags are so small that I had to take a picture of the tags, then expand them, to read them. Still couldn't find macaroni and cheese. Walked up and down 4 isles trying to find an employee, gave up and went to the service desk. Waited in line, asked my question and was told to go to the isle I just left. Explained my inability to find the item, waited until a called employee arrived, she escorted me to the isle I just left and .... NO MACARONI and CHEESE! Was going to leave (was a little tired) but had one more coupon, for Crest toothpaste. It could not have been any farther away from frozen foods, but I found the item and my walk to the self checkout and back to my car almost exceeded my energy capacity .Lesson learned, enjoy more expensive but more accessible handicap options. Store is usually dirty and the produce is never fresh. Meijer Associate Melva was extremely rude at checkout. There was 1 cashier lane open and 6 self checkouts at 11:30PM, and this associate proceeded to rudely snark at us about the amount of items in the cart and how we should use the other lane (mind you, all 5 other self checkout registers are open with no line). She proceeded to (rudely) scan our bigger items in our cart without asking and bumped us out of the way to do so. When we told her to watch where she's going, she called the manager to have him watch us continue to check out.. the manager Ron then proceeded to tell her to just "shut off" the machine next time this happens, without any concern for what our side of the story was. Spent thousands of dollars at this Meijer, and now we will not be back. Horrible and rude customer service. You should pay more attention to the dirty shelves, floors, parking lot, and gross produce and meat before hassling one of the only customers in the building on a Saturday night. read more

Never had a problem with this Meijer. I do most my grocery shopping here. They have really nice digital photo services that is cheaper and better than Walmart. The check out lines are mostly self serve which can be a gamble when someone ahead of you looks like they don't have a clue on how to scan items. However, it is still much faster than Walmart. I will say that thier fruits and vegetables are not always pristine. Some are pretty rotted and nasty. read more

Don't come during the week in the evening unless you have a ton of time to spare. Only two registers open with super long lines tailing around the store. SLOW cashiers. Lines don't move. Sale items not available at 9:30 on the first day of the weekly sale. Had issue with produce employee putting individual blue berries off the floor back in with the ones on the shelf. Requested to speak with someone in management. No manager on site. No assistant manager on site. No produce manager on site. Garden center employee came to speak with me. His response was meijers requires customers to wash produce before consuming. That a good policy but not in this case. Maybe some common sense. Pick up and throw away the blue berry and not sell it to your customer . I will try to speak with a manager tomorrow. I will repost their response. read more

I usually don't go to Meijer but I needed an electric can opener (random yes) and this was the only place I could find one in this area. I did some grocery shopping while I was here as well and noticed some things were a little more expensive then I thought they would be. But I did get a lot of coupons for next time, and the cash register woman was very nice and friendly! I will be coming back. read more

I believe most of the older people are very kind, and mature, but something ive noticed getting worse , even before this insane virus is its hard to find a person in back to help you if you cant find something and there is a lot of gossip on the floor, serious issues, like two young people talking about some employee who got in trouble for stealing or so an so wants to talk to you, and the bagger would sigh and say ive had enough today.. They use to be a lot better at being professional on the floor. But over all considering they deal with a younger not so savi about all that generation they don't do to bad. read more

I love this Meijer! It's clean and big, with a lot of variety in certain products I love like Annie's Natural items. The only Meijer I've found that carries the small snack packs which are a lifesaver at work for me. Produce section is always fresh and stocked, staff is friendly and we don't take long to check out. read more

The store has been there a long time you can tell it's an older store but they have everything you could possibly want, weird lightbulbs, weird fruit even premixed two-stroke gas, and all your necessities you use every day. You can get a haircut while you drink a Starbucks while your wife is shopping! Good place wouldn't want to be without it! read more

Those rat bastards at Meijer are running a coupon sale for today and tomorrow that gets you $5 off if you buy general merchandise totaling $24.97 and up. I was so pissed when I got the text of this upcoming sale last night AFTER I'd bought that Coleman tent/fan thing for $27.99 after trying to get them to price match Wal-Mart (see previous review). So I go back today to do a refund/repurchase at the Customer Service desk and it went smoothly enough. I got the difference back in cash and partial credit (weird, but whatevah). So I scored some more Crane Lake http://www.cheapwinereviews.com/crane-lake-merlot-2003 cheapo, but pretty unoffensive and surprisingly drinkable, Chardonnay wine after happily trying, and being sold on, the Shiraz the other night (3/$12 on sale right now!). Today i went into White Lake Meijer going to the deli. Waiting for service from to workers in front of me having a conversation for a good 2 minutes before deciding to help me. Finally asking what they can help with i ask for two types of food and saying "and this" she was extremely rude as if i was bothering her for asking for help. Then my reply is sorry we will go somewhere else as walking away she added sorry i don't know what "This" is or means. I found this very sad and disappointing to see this. I have complained a couple of times about this store not being being able to keep the shelves stocked. On 9/15/2015 around 2:00 pm I stupidly went to pick up a few items. 7 of the 14 items I needed were not stocked, I mean completely empty. What a joke this is. This Meijer isn't near my house but I drive the extra 10 minutes because its clean it's set up really well I can find everything I need. Variety of different food which is nice. I go to Kroger and can never find anything I go to different Meijer and everything is in weird places. This is the best and most organized Meijer iv been to. read more

First I want to start off by saying I'm a big fan of Meijer. However I think the process broke down, when asked by the cashier if I had found everything, and I responded no, she asked me what I was looking for. She replied "huh, haven't heard of that". She then proceeded to continue bagging my groceries. It was pretty evident she was not too interested in helping me find what I was looking for. They have stock this brand in the past however have moved around in different aisles. First off if I had the option to, I would've given this meijer no stars. So the past three times we went to Meijer, they were completely out of Guernseys chocolate milk. And I have an in dire need for chocolate milk. Ok second of all, I had difficulty writing this review because the Wi-Fi freaking sucks. Come here all the time, meijer is my homeland lol. Prices are cheap, right by my house, everything is stocked, everyone is nice, no major complaints. They are fairly chean, definately well zoned but ive seen the night crew try and clean the floor with their machines and totally miss everything, hello its not working, maintain the machine! Not fiflthy but make the floors sparkle and shine! I took back a shirt last week because the lady bagged it with an air freshner and it leaked and stained it. She gave me cash back no questions asked, bought the same one but non stained lol. They always have just the right number of employees and registers open. The bakery lacks help but ask the deli or butcher and they send someone over. Meijer has the best bakery foods fully stocked by 6am if you ever need a muffin that early(i know i do). They let you sample everything in the deli, i literally sampled 10 things one day because i couldnt decide on my pasta/potato salads read more
