I've never reviewed this Target?? All righty, then. This is the Target that is closest to my boyfriend's house and also my parents'. I've done curbside pick-up here a few times, always with no issues, and always within a 5-minute waiting period. Last night we came here looking for an office chair and left with $35ish worth of board games and $15ish worth of sodas - the reason being that my Target app (Target Circle, on the app) was offering me $10 off $50, which was a great deal. No office chairs except college ones unfortunately, and we were looking for something a little nicer, but the college chair one was $89 which wasn't a bad price. This Target is always clean and in the past I've never had any issues with it either. read more

I am a Target fan. This is a good location and typically has a nice stock of goods. During this time, I like that you could find paper goods and toiletries, like toilette paper easily on their website. When the other stores were out, Target actually still got a small supply. I also like that when the code number on a gift card was accidentally destroyed they were able to assist us with fixing the situation without going through the company it belonged to, good customer service. Funny thing, I know it is only January, but I was craving some Valentine's Day candy, and my grocery store for some reason only had Easter candy, so I came here to find the glorious holiday candy section. I will also come back to buy the kids their holiday gifts (candy) for their little surprises. This is my place to get the best selection. I enjoy the Target branded goods. Their different trail mixes are my favorite. The Rudolph mix during Christmas is my yearly splurge. I came into target today because I needed to upgrade my Apple Watch. I've had the second generation for many many years and though I love it I do want to upgrade to the new Siri seven because of its added health benefits of sleep monitoring and blood oxygen level monitoring. I am so glad that I was able to work with Steve he is extremely knowledgeable this is the second time that he's help me figure out which item to purchase and man does this guy know his stuff!!! I asked him about several different products Bose beats and Apple and he was very knowledgeable about all giving me details about each of them. I appreciated having already read reviews about the products coming into the store having someone who has taken the same amount of time to research the things that he is selling so I think that he definitely offered me options that may be want to come and buy more things as such as accessories as he was able to explain them in great detail and why they might be of use! A Target that I go to on a regular basis. It does not stand out in regards to what it offers than most other targets. I will say, that the people that work there are really nice, even the high school/early 20s are very responsive and don't act like they're bored with the job. Ran into Barry Sanders here one time, which was fun. This place is so close to Bloomfield Hills, Novi, Commerce, and Walled Lake. They keep things stocked really well, and they have a Starbucks and Pizza Hut inside. read more

I'm not a regular Target shopper but always find myself here around Christmas for one thing- a Terry's Chocolate Orange. I also stopped in to pick up a videogame for my nephew, but Target didn't have it in store. While I was wandering through the store I was able to order it online so no real inconvenience there. I didn't check the stock online before going to the store SO.... I took off a star because the store was a disaster, I felt bad for the employees because it LOOKED like Christmas retail hell. But Conner was amazing. We couldn't find the chocolate oranges so we asked an employee who popped it up on his scanner, took note of the quantity in store, want directly to the spit on the shelf, where there were none. He went into the back without hesitation and brought brought back a box of them for us to choose from. He didn't know it, but it's a tradition in our family to have one while wrapping gifts and for me, Christmas isn't the same without it. So thank you for being so friendly and helpful! read more

I went to Target as my brother needed to Christmas shop for his grandchildren. I had a coupon and I told him I love Target. It's mine and my daughters go to store. Well I don't know who decided to change things but I don't as so disappointed that I tried to get my brother to go to Kohls or even Walmart which Walmart is NOT my store at all but Target didn't have much and the clothes were pricey for Target! He was looking for Barbie which they had but had 2 clothing items and you didn't know which Barbie they would fit as the Barbie wasn't marked and they clothes were not as cheap as Walmart. Yes I said Walmart. I did order Barbie clothes from Walmart. I was also looking for a holiday sweater to wear to my work Christmas party and nothing that I would wear. The bathroom was disgusting too. One lady that came in after me gasped when she walked into a stall. I will think twice before I go back to Target and before I ever say I love Target and that it's my go to store. I loved the old Target! Well to add to the crap. The gift receipts were not matching up with what was purchased so my brother took everything back so THEY could match them up and discovered 2 items were over charged. The drive up service is usually excellent but this was an exception. I ordered two 2lb organic banana bunch. Instead of getting 4 lbs of organic banana, I received 2 loose regular bananas. When I pointed it out to the person who brought me the item, she apologized and went back to the store to "fix it." She came back about 5 mins later with about 10 loose bananas, none of which are organic. Rather than waiting to see if this what I ordered, she handed it to me and went to the next car. She seemed busy so instead of bothering her, I went inside with an infant in hand to get this fixed. At guest services, I asked for a refund so I can just go pick up couple of the organic banana bunches. I was told I can't get a refund until the next day even though the cashier understands that the bag full of loose nonorganic bananas are not what I ordered. I asked if she can just get me the correct product then. At which point she told me I need to go get the organic bananas and bring it to her. For this quick drive-up order I wasn't prepared to be in-store and shopping with my infant. I was definitely irritated. The staff i interacted with was so crass and have no idea what customer service is. I went to the back of the store and got my own organic bunches of banana, brought it back to guest services for the nod from the cashier and left. Did all this need to happen? When I pointed out that the order is wrong and that two organic bunches of banana is not the same as two loose banana..why wasn't it fixed. When I came in with a bag full of non organic banana, why wasn't I taken care of? Target messed up my order. Yet, I can't get a refund or get my order fixed. This review is specifically for the pharmacy, although I love this store and have never had an issue with staff! The pharmacists and the techs are literally THE NICEST women I've ever met. They are so helpful and patient with any questions. I couldn't stand the last CVS I went to because the staff was horrible, they acted as if I was bothering them by picking up medication. I was there this morning. I had some bananas, sour cream, coffee creamer, generic tissue and 2 generic anti bacteria cream. Bacteria cream was just over $4 each. The self checkout beeped and showed price per item and I get to the total and it is just over $11. A Target person is beind counter and I tell her something is wrong. I am no thief and even with the imbecile biden prices I am not stealing. I tell the woman this thing under charging me, it should be about $25 and I said I am almost deaf and expected her to come over she mumbled something else and I think she said go to pay it. Disturbing blatant profiling..I witnessed an embarrassing situation..the young gal twenty something bi racial in check out line behind me...payed for her purchases which included a coke..the cashier asked if she wanted to keep the coke out of bag to drink...a service employee standing at the end of the cashier stations pulled this girl aside before even approaching the exit door to check her receipt for the coke...this was ridiculous as I had bags and actually a present bag in my cart outside of the target bag that was filled with merchandise and me being a white middle aged women just told me to have a nice day..while pulling the this young gal aside to interrogate her about her coke...really target that's not very professional. normally i wouldn't want to review a giant like target, but i just had a GREAT experience here! i like target, but the ones in this area are both pretty far from my house, so i usually don't get to go. i had an e-gift card and called first to make sure i'd able to use it in store. they told me no problem. i wanted to get a video game for a gift exchange at work but had no idea about video games. i talked to a guy in that department (i think his name was steve) who knew a LOT about video games. i felt like i was at a personal shop, not a giant department store. they were busy but he helped me out until all my questions were answered and i felt confident about my choice. i was so surprised at how nice and knowledgeable he was! when i tried to use my e-gift code, i was told that it wouldn't work and that the success rate of using e-codes was spotty. that was understandable but i had called first for that very reason. at this point the manager was there (i think her name was felicia), and i was holding up the line pretty badly. i tried to be really nice because i knew it wasn't anyone's fault who was there, but at the same time, it was really frustrating because i had gone out of my way to cover my bases and also to get to the store. after a lengthy back and forth, she was able to offer me a compromise for being inconvenienced. between the helpfulness of the manager and the guy in the video games department, i can safely say that i'll go out of my way to visit this target. i know that probably means nothing to target or even that location, but still. they are great! read more

This afternoon while shopping at target to get the last essential items I will be needing to give birth next month, I was appalled with the cashier Diane's attitude towards me. Let me start with saying everyone is entitled to their own opinions/feeling/beliefs with the pandemic we are currently experiencing. I choose to not wear a mask or gloves as I can shop at a safe distance with out contact with others and grab only what I need to take it home to sanitize and wash. Upon checkout, Diane told the shopper infront of me as she was cashing out "Thank you for wearing a mask. Everyone should wear a mask" as she crudely looks my way. Trying to brush off the cashiers ignorant comment, I kindly replied "We are all entitled to our own opinions and I choose to not wear one". She then had the audacity to look at me and reply " Well, I like to think of others and maybe you should to being pregnant and all". I Filled with fury as she continued to check out my items. I contemplated just walking away with out my items but being 3 weeks until my due date, I needed my purchases more than letting her get to me. If your company wants to require everyone to wear a mask whom shops there, then put a sign up and I ( as well as the many others shopping this day with out a mask on) will comply. I find it very unprofessional that your staff takes it in their own hands to verbally accost paying customers, especially during a financial crises. Perhaps my money isn't good enough for your company and going forward Ill choose to spend it somewhere else. Target has been a great convince for my husband and myself over the years, and typically we receive great customer service. Apparently if I need any further educational lessons, Ill be sure to send a tuition check to Diane, a cashier at target. Seems like a very qualifying position to pass judgment onto its paying customers. Shame on you as a corporation for allowing harassment like that to its shoppers. The reality of the situation is that i would not buy my jeans or clothes (unless it was an emergency) from walmart or meijer nearby, but i would at target. Every store has a job. And when the grocery store opened inside this target store i was scratching my head because the experience, the products weren't anything i would place my grocery plans around. Not only that, but the product arrangement i would have gone to target for have been degraded. I dont want all these stores doing everything, because invariably their role is lost, and my reason for going the reduced. Imagine trying to hire a guy to do plumbing and electric in your house and you find only 1 guy; and he does them both but not very well. I had the opportunity to shop yesterday at the recently remodeled Target store - now with groceries - last night with my 3 year old son. My intent was to purchase just a few food items and health & beauty products. While going down the frozen food aisles, I had to turn around and back track on two separate occasions because of 'traffic' jams at the ends of the aisles. There is simply not enough room to turn your cart around and shop in the dairy cases at the ends of those aisles. I think the design is very poor! Fix the spacing in the aisles, and you'll have some loyal and happy shoppers. Overall - I love the selection and convenience, but the isles are just too small. read more

Every-time I use their website to see if they have something it's always wrong when I go to the store. I can't pick items up so I have to go to the store. But the website always says they have it even though when I go it's never there and I have to ask a worker to see if the have it. They need to update their on website so when this happens I don't drive out for nothing. This is the ninth time this has happened and it's very frustrating. Not my favorite location, but love Target. This store only has one door so parking is always awful. Half the time it's easier to park by Michaels. This store location is also one where they got rid of the service counter and combined the returns/online pickup/express checkout. Which makes it so annoying to ever return anything. I usually hit up the Target in Livonia but I needed to do some quick shopping while my kid was in preschool. Giving this location extra props for having a Starbucks! I may need to do my Target shopping on school days from now now! Clean store. I wish all stores were logistically the same. I had to backtrack a couple times trying to find what I needed. The only thing I didn't like were the long lines. Only two registers open and it didn't even seem like the store was very busy. I guess everyone decided to checkout at the same time. The five and under bins were messy and and under stocked but they moved the layout of the store around a bit and it was a lot better. Went to the school supplies area and there were multiple people stocking the area. Hard to maneuver in that area. I might suggest stocking a whole area at a less busy time. Amie was our cashier. I do like this Target, however at times it can be really picked over or a mess. And it's ALWAYS busy, no matter when you go. Plus, just the last time I was home and rolled through here my cashier was less than nice. Might have been cause she had had enough of holiday shoppers for the season, not sure. But, there really isn't any other Target nearby. You could hit Meijer or dreaded Walmart, but I still prefer this store. all Target stores have bad clothing! cheap, ill fitting and a very small selection. no leather shoes. they don't have much of anything at all. low quality jeans.
