Their shipping price to Hong Kong is great. The service is excellent and my package arrived from San Jose to Hong Kong in exactly one week. I paid a little extra to buy the insurance. Each $100 worth is $3 just so I feel secure if something happens to my package, I get insurance. Make sure you bring an extra shipping box if u have it. The way they calculate the shipment also depends on the size of the item as well as the weight. Bringing an extra box allows you to see which box shipping fee might be cheaper. I sent a 7 lb box but had to pay 10lb fee due to the size of the box. It cost me close to $50 dollars sending it to Hong Kong. read more

Agree with other reviews, this company do offer huge discount and provide same service as DHL and Fedex, I had brought 2 quite large package to UPS, DHL, and Fedex stores, they all gave me crazily high quote, over $1000 shipment cost for 2 packages, from San Francisco to Taiwan. Best of the best shipping services! I moved back to India and I shipped 5 boxes and I could not be happier with their service. The ladies are wonderful: they helped with wrapping my guitar, answering all my questions patiently, and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was correct. Another important thing is that their shipping prices via FedEx, DHL are cheaper than FedEx and DHL websites itself! Make sure that you don't create the shipment/payment etc. before you talk to someone on the phone. They give really good tips on Insurance, how to declare used items for customs etc. read more

They purchase items from Ebay and then have Ebay freeze the payment to you until they receive the item in the mail. I contacted Ebay as to why then held the payment to me and told me a BS story that I was a new seller and that was their only explanation to me. I had been selling items for over a month and actually sold 19 items, great transactions buyers paid right of way and I mailed and sent to them items immediately with no problems. Then these people disguised themselves as buyers bought from me and then had Ebay hold their payment to me until I mail the item. They are located in San Jose, CA in the same area as Ebay, but are a Chinese base company and their corporate offices are in China. They are crooked and unethical. They want to do business in an un-American way and Ebay is right along side of them with their games. read more

The service here was terrible, absolutely terrible. I sent something in February 4 and they asked me to adjust my payment in April 24. That's ridiculous! They ask me to adjust my payment two months later?! I barely remembered! I mean if it was a week or two later I would accept it but now? But now it's been almost three months! Wow, MeiMei Express is a true hidden gem. It took me weeks of googling import/export, HS, duty tax, MSDS, COA, etc to luckily stumble upon their service. They offer big discount on DHL/FedEx and wealth of inside information on how Asia import/export works. Here is the highlight: Big Discount: DHL and FedEx was quoting me $100+ to ship 1kg to Taiwan. MeiMei Express gave me DHL 3 day Express for ~$40 including tax and surcharge. Wealth of Shipping Knowledge: About to pull your hair out on custom form, MSDS/COA, import process, etc? They can do it blindfolded while hopping on one leg. To be safe, I did a walk in to show them my shipment. May (the owner) cleared/confirmed everything I been wondering for weeks in 10 minutes. Friendly: Tina and May were very nice and prompt on the phone, email, and in person. Tina even contacted DHL to clarify if my shipment is importable to Taiwan. They stole my credit card. I used MeiMei express for more than 2 years, but not very frequently. Usually, I went there every a couple months. Then I found there were unauthorized transactions on my card, after every time I went there. I have used this card for more than 10 year and never have any problem. Most of these unauthorized transactions were caught by my credit card company, and they closed the account and issue me a new card. Since this happened for 5 or 6 times, I asked my credit card company give me a whole list of unauthorized transactions in last 2 years. After comparing them with my transactions history, I found all of them happened in about 10 days after I visited Meimei express. To verify my doubt, I intentionally used Meimei express twice in late November and early December 2016. And my credit cards were stolen again as expected. I used two different cards. One was unauthorized used 10 days after I visit Meimei. Another is 12 days. These unauthorized transactions were not online shopping, but grocery stores, restaurants, pizza huts, steak houses, and parking lot! This means they did not only stolen my card number, but also made a copy of the plastic card. Please be careful when doing business with Meimei express. If you have to use them, don't give them your credit card, but pay cash. Be very careful! read more

I have used MeiMei express for shipments to Asia and Europe and have had very good experience every time. They are courteous, knowledgeable and going out of the way in saving my shipping costs. I had to ship items that were packed in a large box which costs a lot because of the box dimension, and they provided a smaller box and help reduce my costs.
