I took my car in there several times I was going on a road trip and I wanted to make sure it was roadworthy because I had a shake in my car and I knew it needed brakes. Also, the check engine light was coming on. I was told I needed to have Motor mounts replaced it was unsafe to drive on so I did and they replaced the brakes. I was told that the car was in good condition and needed a few more things but not necessarily right away. Well, I started on my road trip pretty much immediately when I got the car back and the check engine light came on and driving at high speeds. There really wasn't a shake, but when I slowed down to about 25 to 30, there was a noticeable shake still. Also, there was a very noticeable squeak when I pressed on the brakes. so on my trip I called the store and Sadie said no problem bring it in when you get back. Since we were on a cruise, I wasn't driving the automobile daily. So I got back I brought the car in and I asked them about the check engine light and they told me we never told them about the check engine light so they never checked it. And then told him about the squeaking and they said they would take a look at the brakes. They took a look at the brakes and said the brakes were bad and they needed to be replaced gave them faulty brakes. Sadie also stated that she would do a check engine light expections for me for free so I said OK and she wasn't there when I brought the car back in and the guys were talking trash about a lot of people and making fun of this and that. I made a comment something about Sadie and her not being there and how wonderful I thought she was and the guy behind the desk started saying something derogatory. I don't really remember what it was but it was not nice. Then I started talking about how I didn't think all this happening was coincidence and he says everything is a coincidence, I didn't believe in coincidences and he said again something derogatory. So anyway, they changed my brakes. They forgot to do the check engine light again so they really quickly put it on there. They came back and told me I need a new engine. Meanwhile, I told Sadie about this and Sadie told me that while she's away, the guys tend to have a little bit of a more relaxed attitude and they don't do the work that she expects them not exactly like that but that's the message I got. Well, now I got a car it needs a new engine still shaking the check engine light still coming on now my seat is broken. My radio doesn't work and a few other little weird ads and ends happened. Turns out the guy that I was talking to got fired because of who knows what but I'm sure it has something to do with customer service. I think he sabotaged my car. At least the radio and the seat. I told Sadie what I thought she said, bring the car in and she would do a thorough check engine light for me for free. She would also see if a fuse was missing on my radio, but there was nothing that she could do with the broken seat. Well, she did do a thorough check and said yes you do need a new engine and she told me that none of her people said that before. Is this coincidence? I don't think so. Can I prove any of it now? Can I report it to the Better Business Bureau? Yes but I just thought that you should know and had I known that all this was wrong with my car in the first place I would have never spent over $4000 getting all this taken care of. And they didn't even do the brakes when I paid for it. Coincidence I think not so although I can't prove it, I can definitely make a huge argument for the coincidences of all the broken down car issues. I took it to my car mechanic that I've been using for 20 years and due to the fact that he was busy I needed to find another place. I did take it back to him afterwards and had him look at all my documentation and he said that they didn't pull the valve cover. I went to a Meineke location at Avenue H, Rosenberg, Tx yesterday to have my brakes checked. They recommended me to have the pads and rotors replaced for a price of about $950. Since I have been a Meineke customer before we moved here, I thought that the price was right. So despite of financial constraints, I told them to go ahead since anyway it's for my family's safety. Once I got the receipt after paying, I checked the prices and was so surprised about the prices of the pads and rotors. The front pads cost $150 while the front rotors cost $236. The rear pads and rotors cost a little bit less than the front. So today, I went to Honda Dealership and asked for a quote from them and see if the price was comparable. To my surprise, the total price was only $861 and included already the brake fluid flushing. The front rotors and the pads cost only $90. So I went back to this shop and asked the person on the front desk if he can help me about it and maybe add at least the brake flushing or give me a refund for the excess price. But the owner declined to help me and tried to justify that his prices were right. I even explained to him that even when you order parts from O'Reilly, Advance, or AutoZone, the price that he gave me is 3x their price and that is already of great quality. I can also order all the parts in Amazon or Ebay for less than $200. I don't even know the quality he gave me and what brand since it was not included in the receipt. My 90 year old mother trusted the Meineke in Stafford to fix her A/C, it was working in the front but the rear A/C was not. They replaced the nearly new compressor, charged her $1,200 and the told her that it would be another $400 to look at the rear A/C problem.. The van still does not have rear A/C. read more

BEWARE! DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT bring your vehicle here. I brought my car here for a simple oil change, which has now turned into a nightmare. Apparently, someone here over torq' d my drain plug and stripped my oil pan. I literally have about 3 quarts of oil on the floor in my garage, and this occurred after having my oil changed here. I brought my vehicle to a different certified mechanic who diagnosed the problem and stated that whomever changed my oil damaged my plug and pan. I explained this to the owner of Meneike and he could care less and refuses to pay for the damages. I am left with an almost $1200 bill for repairs. My wife and I normally takes her GMC Terrain to the GMC dealer every 3 to 6 months for service.. After leaving the service department and get our vehicle check out by the GMC service department our GMC Terrain truck was in perfect condition, The only thing that the dealer recommended is that eventually we would have to replace the water pumphose do to a very Small leak but other that the vehicle was in great condition.. The dealer also did a diagnostic on the vehicle before taking the vehicle and the diagnostic test came out to read nothing wrong with the vehicle other than a small leak near the water pumphose... After leaving the service department at the dealership on the 15th of December 2023 My wife and I was looking to save a little money on having her water pump replacement on her vehicle, we decided to take her vehicle to Meineke shop to have the pump replacement, a perfectly running vehicle to this Meineke shop located at 13020 FM 529 Rd. Suite A. Houston, Texas 77041, The owner name Felipe Rueda.. My wife and I dropped off her GMC Terrain truck on December 19th 2023 for Meineke to only replace the water pump, 3 days later we returned back to Meineke to check on why was it taking so long to complete a 4 hour job, the mechanic/Felipe Rueda had dismantled as well as replaced other parts around the engine that did not need to be replaced and without my wife and I consent to do so.. As of now our vehicle is still setting up at this Meineke shop not driverble and the engine making a loud knocking noise and the engine shaking very bad.. I swear to you all I'm not making this Sh*t up.. Today is January 14-2024 and we still haven't gotten our vehicle from Meineke shop.. but we're getting ready to take legal actions against this company.. Thank God I was able to video every conversation that we had with this Meineke shop mechanic as well as documentations from the diagnostic test from GMC dealership. I will never go back to this location. I will post on every review site to make sure that others don't purchase the Groupon or attend your shop again. The customer service was fair but their negligence put my life and others around me in danger. The mechanic who was working on my car forgot to tighten the bolts back on the tire he took off for inspection. A slow and shaky 25 minute drive later I find 2 bolts are missing from my back rim and the others are two to three turns from coming off themselves. This could have been a total nightmare. This tire could of came off and damaged my car, cause an accident, or worse. I assumed they did something on purpose to get me back in the shop because I declined the extra maintenance the manager on duty was offering. That is typical for any auto shop. However, this was down right neglectful. I called to speak with the manger, but he was not on property at the time. I didn't even bother returning to the shop because there is nothing you can do as I resolved the issue. An issue that should not be a slap on the wrist for the employee who was careless to perform a simple oil change. This type of service is unacceptable in your line of work. It took them well over an hour to do a basic oil change. I usually understand if there are multiple people in line for other repairs, but I was the only one in the shop. Never again. I bought a groupon for an inspection and they preyed on a woman( as many car care places do) They said in order to pass my car i needed to get my windshield wipers replaced. Totalling over $30!!! Never have i heard that my windshield wipers needed to be replaced when they WORK COMPLETLY FINE! I should of taken it to another establishment. Then they said my license plate light was out..ok understandable. The white guy and ( A Very Large woman) and Hispanic man who did they inspection are all scammers. They look for things they can charge you on and try to apply that amd say well we wont pass ypur inspection... Down right the rudest, scammers I have ever came into contact with. I literally drove 30 minutes from my home in cypress out of my way to honor the groupon I purchased. I politely went to Reliable Auto Repair got my inspection and windshield wiper fluid and traded the groupon for this dump in for a car wash. Wouldn't recommend them to a dog. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. I came to this auto shop because I needed service on my car. I was quoted one price several times on the phone. That price was confirmed multiples to me and my father. Once the service was completed I got a phone call saying it was going to be almost $100 more than the price quoted. The manager then argued and the mechanic who worked on the car said that what I was saying wasn't true and that there was no way to verify what I claimed since it was over the phone. Very unprofessional and very rude. I've never had such terrible customer service from an auto shop. I wish I had read the other reviews first. read more

ROBERT IS THE MAN! Came here for an oil change about 30 mins before closing didnt see one frown about me coming in with 30 mins to close and most places even resturants you would get frowned upon. AND you can't beat a $16 oil change!! Althought that is the sale price for the grand opening still a good deal. Not only did they change my oil but helped me with my check engine light. These guys ripped me off don't go their! I went to get one of my hid's fixed. I already knew the balace was the problem so I go up their to tell them that but they tell me that it's not the balace that i need a new light bulb so I left some money their with them to get me 2 new hid lightbulbs and they told me to come back the next day. I go up their the next day thinking Ima get my lights fixed only for them to tell me that the balace is the problem that it wasn't the lightbulb, after I had told them that the day before!! so yeah big time wasted and $45 down the drain. read more
