While I don't do my regular Asian grocery shopping here, it has definitely saved me on more than one occasion when I've needed a specialty ingredient in a pinch. The biggest downside for me is the pricing. Compared to the markets I shop at in Koreatown when I'm in Los Angeles, many items here are significantly more expensive. Because of that, I usually stock up during my trips to LA and only stop by when I need something quickly and don't want to wait. On my most recent visit, it was nice to see that they had received a healthy shipment of fresh vegetables. I was able to pick up ingredients for making kimchi, and I also found milk buns, which was a pleasant surprise.

The man behind the counter appeared bothered we were in the store, he did not greet us or offer help. He continued to talk to someone on the phone using his earbuds. When asked a Question he would reply with a dismissive tone, again felt like we were keeping him from his phone conversation. When asked if the sweets were fresh we got neither a yes or no. Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and not welcoming. We would only visit this store if we absolutely have to.
