He has such a good hand for cuts, every time I get my hair cut with him I fall in love. I always go in there and walk out feeling prettier than I walked in. The products they use are good and the place is super clean. Prices are normal, $25 for a cut. I have also gotten a facial here and it was amazing. It was an hour long and the lady explained all the products she was using and took her time.

But…read morethis time I needed a hairdresser, mine that I had for many years, decided to go into another business. I wear a non common hair color called Light Plum that is only available at Sally's. Before making my appointment, I went in person to the salon & spoke to the owner, showed him what I wanted & he called Yadria, one of the colorist/ stylist & asked her if she can do my hair, she said yes! I came prepared with the box of the hair color tube that has the brand's name, name of color & color #. Told her that I get it from Sally's, she said yes, so I proceeded to make an appointment for the following week, giving her time to purchase the color. My appointment date came, & was greeted by receptionist & Cary that was waiting for me, she did my nails first & as always, I was very pleased with her work! Then went to Yandra that after greeting me told me that she went to Sally's near her, but they didn't have the color. Instead, she purchased another brand & different color from the hair supply next door on the same day that I was scheduled, she told me that later on. She gave an option; wait for her to get the color or take a chance with the one that she purchased. I had lots of gray showing, & by looking at the hair color box, it kind of resembled to mine. The procedure started, just by looking at the color I knew it was NOT similar to my color at all, she told to wait until the process is completed & my hair is washed. Another lady washed my hair & when I went I looked in the mirror I knew that was NOT what I wanted, it turned out way to light, plus part of my gray wasn't covered! I expressed my dissatisfaction & a coworker came to me with the hair color chart, she showed me several colors & pointed to one that she thought will resembled to my color. At this point, I was very upset, couldn't stay with the color that Yandra applied, so once more I agreed to have a 2nd color put on my hair. While Yandra was putting the color I noticed shades of red, I definitely didn't want that , I have been wearing red for a long time. My hair was washed & blow dried a bit, & I realized that again, it WAS NOT my color & NOT what I wanted, I previously shower a pic of my hair right after colored. I also told her that I needed a trim, she hardly cut any hair & apologized saying that she's not confortable working with brands that she doesn't know. I just let her blow dry my hair, I just wanted lo leave! I went to pay my bill, for Cary was the usual & left a $10.00 tip that receptionist promised to give to her tomorrow. My bill for the color fiasco was $115.00, my hair is short & very thin. I left her a$20.09 tip anyway & $5.00 for the girl that washed my hair, then I waked out almost in tears. Needles to say that I won't be coming back. I felt kind of disrespected, I was a new customer, Yandra could have been more attentive to my request in order to satisfy me by purchasing the right color! If the Sally's that she went didn't have the color, there are plenty of Sally's that she could have gone, even easier, order the color from the store she went, but apparently she didn't take the time to do so for her new customer. It's disturbing how a salon smack in the middle of coral gables does not adhere to its advertised prices and instead makes prices for their services after the service has been rendered, without any explanation.

I have spent the last 2 years growing my hair out, doing scalp oil treatments, microneedling, hair treatments, no heat, no blow drying, filtered shower water, you name it. TWO YEARS OF DEDICATION!! Then you come along & in less than 24 hours you manage to absolutely detroy everything I've worked so hard on for the past 2 years. You lied to me over & over & over again during the Premiere Beauty Show. I asked you several times about the integrity of my hair & if my hair could handle the multiple processes you were doing. You assured me my hair was still healthy & nothing was wrong. Those were all lies but I think you knew that already. I have been crying every single day since the hair show. I can't look in the mirror. I don't want to even touch my hair because it feels like a brillo pad. My hair is BREAKING OFF AT THE SCALP. So, let's go through the chain of events. You put bleach on my hair for well over an HOUR with zero cares about the wellbeing of my hair or my scalp. You then dye my roots & tone the rest of my hair. At that point my hair should of been left alone but NOO you decide to have someone else who had no idea about the correct formulas put more color on my roots. You shouted across a crowded room expecting your ASSISTANT to hear you & make the correct formula. The color started to burn my scalp due to the over processsing. Then YOU decided to slap MORE BLEACH on already compromised hair & leave that on for 15 more mins when honestly all you needed was a clear with 10vol or 20vol to lift but YOU chose bleach the most damaging, but I digress. Then you added more toner & used non stop heat on it. Once I got home & saw the damage I was absolutely horrified to the point of severe depression & not eating for several days. Over the past month, my hair, no matter how delicate I am, is breaking off at the scalp. The entire front of my hair is orange and broken off at the scalp. I had burns on my scalp, ears and back of my neck. Your negligence severly injured me not only physically but mentally as well. Not to mention my agency is LIVID after what you all did to my hair. I'm a signed model with two different agencies that I can no longer work with until my hair grows out which will take a minimum of 7 months to two years and it's hair show season! I've already lost out in $10,000 worth of bookings. You were reckless, careless & aggressive with my hair, scalp, head & neck. Don't even get me started on the fact that it's summer in Florida & I can't even go to the pool because of the chlorine and my hair. What you did has severly negativity impacted my life. Who does this to someone? Like, honestly? What were you thinking? This isn't 2010 you can't destroy someone's entire head of hair that they use to make a living with and just run off to Miami like nothing ever happened. The internet and social media exist now. You out of all people should know once you damage someone's hair to this extent it's extremely possible that my hair will never grow back the same as it was. The beautiful wavey natural texture to my hair is now gone and it's very possible that it will never come back now. I have nightmares about what happened & I don't want anyone to touch me ever again. Which means I don't even know how to think about fixing this because I don't trust a single soul to touch me ever again. My hair needs a full blown color correction because of you which I can not afford. Oh & the hack job of a hair cut is the icing on the cake. You should lose your hair license. To be honest if I have anything to do with it that's exactly what's going to happen to you. I hope it was worth it.
