The young lady (Ally, I believe) working with Sylvia, at the front desk was great was great and helped me ordered breakfast that was delivered to me from their outside food truck partner. While waiting, I had my nails done by Ana Maria, who was incredible!! She was a doctor of nails. It was my first time and recommended by my boss. I'll definitely be back and can't wait. The color was too dark and hair cut was the worst I have ever had. I've had a few bad hair cuts in my lifetime but this has been the worst. All layers were uneven, one side shorter than the other and not blended but cut straight across. I've had people say the hair cut just doesn't make sense. I can sincerly say my hair was ruined. All I can do is wait for it to grow which will take at least 4-6 months before I can go to a real hair stylist to fix my cut. Don't cut your hair in layers with Jorge!!! He simple doesn't know how to cut layers. I gave a 4 because of the place. Jorge gets a -1 best yet 0 for ruining my haircut. read more

I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but this place honestly deserves it. To start off the lady in the front is extremely rude. They send you confirmation EMAILS 15 minutes prior to your appt .. lol ? So if you're driving to the location during those 15 minute and you don't respond they cancel your appt. When you do your nails the nail person gets interrupted by other workers which delays you in the appointment and there is too much chisme talking so they are usually unfocused. Rather go to a more respectful place and not take 3 hours for my nails. read more

When I want to make a change, I show him photos of styles and colors I like, and he tells me the best options to achieve a similar look with my own personal hair color, condition, etc. I really appreciate that level of personalization and expertise because it keeps my hair in better condition. This salon and spa is off Bird road by the Palmetto expressway. I go regularly for facials. The esthetician Nury is very nice as well as does an amazing job. Your skin will be glowing for days, and you will get compliments. You need to book an appointment in advance ( I usually call 2 weeks ahead of when I want to come in) and the cost is basically what they are charging everywhere, but its worth it. If you want to pamper yourself, get the Hydrafacial here. It's my favorite, it takes about an hour, and haven't had any complaints yet. I haven't had any other services performed here but it's always super packed and they have a lot of hair stylists and manicurists as well in case you are interested. They remember your name and always greet you with a smile. I have done my nails with several nail techs and they are all great. Your manicure and pedicure always come out perfect. They use top of the line products and only use OPI nail polish. They offer coffee, tea and wine. They are also a hair salon and offer other spa services. I recommend making an appointment if you want a particular nail tech, even though they always do their best to accommodate. Hi, I just wanted to start in saying how clean and cozy this environment is. The staff is just wonderful! I came in literally in tears, for a mistake that someone else did to my hair. Yes I payed relatively cheap for someone to do highlights at somewhere else and this person ruined my hair. But thanks to the talent Roly, I've gotten the look that I wanted! He saved my hair guys! He did all this work of color correction and kept exactly the look that I wanted. Plus he did an awesome treatment and cut! I'm just beyond happy. I honestly had higher expectations of this place. The receptionist there is the worse. She set me up for a polish change when I specifically said mani and pedi. When I arrived they had no one to do me. After being given an appointment. It is also extremely hot in there since they have many hair stylist blowdrying hair at the same time. I'd like to give an update as after this post was made I was contacted by an employee at the spa. They explained that they'd like for me to come back in to do my nails again since that was my first time doing my nails with them they wanted a second chance at showing me their wonderful work. My tech today name was Ili she was super sweet, very energetic and continue to ask me through the process if everything was good and if I liked it. I truly appreciate them calling me back to give them another try it shows they really care about their customers. And again safety protocols for the Covid were in place and I felt safe. The massage = awesome. The free hand treatment (thanks to Yelp!) = lovely. The pedicure = not bad, notaverage. The gel manicure = WORST EVER. I loved this place and the ladies working there. They're super accommodating and gave me and my sister in law discounts on our massages for having to reschedule us last minute. We both loved our massages and would be happy to return for those alone. If that's all I had gotten, I would have rated this place a 5. But I also needed to get a gel refill - and unfortunately, it was the worst I've ever gotten. The nail tech, Estrella, did a nice job on my regular pedicure, and she shaped my fingernails perfectly... but the gel polish job was awful. She didn't seal the gel well and didn't bother painting the edge of my nails (which I've actually heard is a problem with most salons in Miami - I usually get mine done in LA or Atlanta, where it's a MUST to paint the edge to seal it better and make it look pro). Not exaggerating: the gel started peeling off in under 24h. WTF?! I didn't even think that was possible with gel. It's now been 5 days and my nails are a wreck. It's like I got a regular polish or something. Will definitely not be returning here for anything nail related. :/ read more

This was a Birthday gift for our Mom for a facial and manicure. From the outside it's very deceiving but when you walk in it's an unbelievable place. It was all decorated for Halloween and the reception ladies couldn't have been nicer. My Mom is 98 yrs young and they treated her with so much patience and care. The lady that gave Mom her facial, Nuri, I would recommend to anyone. My Mom felt like a new person and she said her face hadn't felt that soft in a while. Then she had her manicure and again the lady was friendly and had no problem with using the special nail polish that my Mom has to use. She got her hands all massaged and looking awesome. I went in for a gel mani and reg pedi and paid $65 plus $10 tip. They charge to remove the gel. That's ridiculous and over the top. I've never been to a salon where they charge to remove the gel. I usually pay $50 (not including tip) and that's with gel removed. The place is a bit overpriced for the same gel mani you can get anywhere.... I really loved this salon. It was my first time visiting today and everyone was so nice. The place is spotless and you can tell it is all very well maintained and CLEAN! You can get everything done here, hair, waxing, nails and they even have a cute boutique. They offer coffee, lemonade and cookies in the morning. After noon, they start serving complimentary wine. Everyone was very friendly and make you feel as you've been going there for years. Employees are very happy - you can tell. Some have been there since the start, they are celebrating 20 years this year. Always a good sign! I had Janet who did an amazing job on my mani/pedi. I have never had a better job done on my nails and left extremely happy! The only thing that left me taken aback was the price... it is $67 for mani/pedi with no tip. I usually pay $50 in the Grove. It was a great job but I would never pay that much for a manicure and pedicure. Probably won't go back for this service but I saw some women getting great updos so I will check it out in case I have a special event. read more

I love this salon. I have been coming here on and off all my life but ever since they moved to the new modern location I have been coming here regularly to color my hair. The best thing about this salon is the friendly front desk staff , the nicest and most accommodating I have come across. They will always do their best to fit you in and help you. I do my color with Cathy who speaks perfect English (rare find in Miami) and is great with color. I went to many salons looking for a good colorist and she was the first to give me the exact base and highlight color I wanted on the first try. She also consistently goes to color courses to perfect her craft and keep up with new techniques which I think more beauticians should do. Pricing is fair and average to what you would pay at a nice salon. My one complaint and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they do not allow you to add tip on your credit card which I think is a big no no. This is the only salon I have been to that does this and it is an inconvenience. Yes, they have an ATM but who wants to pay $4-5 bucks in fees. I hope they will change this policy in the future and allow you to add tip on your credit card receipt. In the meantime be sure to bring cash to tip. read more

Ok, My 5 star review is based on the service I have received for my European facials. I have recommended this place to a co-worker and she was happy and now she come here for her facials. There is only one Facial Specialist and she is awesome her name is . Please, call ahead and make and appointment if you are planning to get a facial. The staff will call you the day before to remind you of your appointment. The Day Spa is a house converted into a Spa right on Bird Road. But when you enter inside it is a nice place with different rooms for each of the service they provide. I have been offered complimentary wine on separate visit. They also offer you Cuban Coffee, water and cookie. The lady that does the facials is really nice. She turns down the light and plays soft music while you are laying waiting for the pores to open under the mister thingy. They cover you with a blanket and put a warm pillow beneath your next. Ahh so relaxing I always take a little snooze during this part. Of course when the squeezing begins a little discomfort occurs, but hey beauty can be painful. She does something with some cold rocks that when you walk out you have no redness on your face. All this for $70 is a bargain in my book. If you are not impressed by this ladies hands mind you she is a small petite lady, I don't know what to say. I personally have had bad facials and I won't go to anyone else. PS. I did get my hair blow dried once and the price was reasonable, but I come here for the facials. The music and the lighting all calm. The facial take a good 45 min I think an hour but I never look at the time. She is very thorough and give you recommendation about your skin.
