We drive all the way down from Jacksonville to come to this store. These people are so knowledgeable on how to fit, on what kind of shoe you need that best fits your foot, and they have many tips and tell you what to do and what not to do to your pointe shoes. They also have a studio space in back that they rent out, and my sister and I did a winter intensive last year- what a super cool way to use their space and share their passion for dance! They have a wonderful variety of leotards, dance shoes, apparel and accessories- basically everything you could ever need for dance. The environment is really friendly and fun. Whether it's baseball gear for my son, or soccer cleats and an air pump pin for my youngest daughter, I've always found the service to be fast, friendly, and polite. Prices are competitive as well. On my most recent trip to Scott's, my daughter needed soccer cleats. Trying on several different pairs before finding what she wanted, I found Stephanie to be especially helpful in making sure of proper size and fit. My wife went with Klarna, when we drove 45 min to the store to pick up, the manager came to release the gun to us but they said "You can't purchase guns with Klarna" no where is this listed on the site. I questioned that and she snapped back with"Not with that attitude" She almost got cussed out, All I did was question the denial of Klarna. Academy if you have snappy managers like this then you need to look into it. My wife didn't purchase the gun even after being told she could finance thru Sezzle. We left Academy and drove over 95 to Bass Pro shops and purchased the gun there. Looks like from the past reviews this store sucks!

I really just wanted to grab today versus ordering and paying shipping on when I walked in the selection that was there was very well placed and easy to see they had another section in the back, but the two employees two older women were very, not helpful, which is weird because this entire store is based off of customer service when I asked if they possibly had it in the back, she just kind of shrugged her shoulders and went back to what she was doing if you want help just go to Dick's Sporting Goods or order it online I wouldn't waste your time coming here.

People arrived on the bus with 3 kids that were crying and the parents made them wait in line for a chance at the new air force ones that were dropping that day. One kid even said he wanted McDonald's but his dad grabbed him by of arm lifted him off the ground and loudly yelled "McDonald's don't take food stamps BOY now stop your noise or I'll pop you here.
