We have been to many dance stores across the country, and we can tell you this is the best... especially to get fitted for pointe shoes. We drive all the way down from Jacksonville to come to this store. These people are so knowledgeable on how to fit, on what kind of shoe you need that best fits your foot, and they have many tips and tell you what to do and what not to do to your pointe shoes. They also have a studio space in back that they rent out, and my sister and I did a winter intensive last year- what a super cool way to use their space and share their passion for dance! They have a wonderful variety of leotards, dance shoes, apparel and accessories- basically everything you could ever need for dance. The environment is really friendly and fun. As a former dancer, I can really appreciate stores solely dedicated to this fabulous hobby. This store off of Conroy Road caters to little dancers, big dancers, young dancers, experienced dancers. It's a great place for anyone touched by a dancer to go. They offer leotards in a rainbow of colors, tutus, and hair accessories. It's also a great place to get your shoes if you want to try them on instead of ordering through a catalog. They sell performance outfits as well as hair accessories. I also noticed special racks for the local dance studios and schools in the area. What a nice thing for kids and parents who may not know exactly what to buy. All of the leg work has already been done for you! Overall, it was well displayed and well organized and seriously made me want to go home and bust out my old tap shoes! read more

After a 13 year hiatus, I decided to get back into dance classes. I dusted off my old tap shoes and jazz sneakers and found that they no longer fit me, a tragedy! So I turned to Amazon and started to look for replacements; however, the reviews scared me as nothing appeared to fit true to size. Not knowing what size to order, I decided to find a place to try on shoes in person - - and luckily Yelp directed me to N'styl Performance Wear. Tucked into a warehouse district not far from Mall at Millennia and the Holy Land Experience, 'N Styl is a large, clean dance store with knowledgeable and kind employees. I'm sure I looked like a deer in the headlights when I walked in, but one of the employees appeared and offered to help. Not only did she point me in the right direction of adult shoes, she also measured my foot and took great care to find the right size for me. Dance shoes are not cheap, but N'styl offers fair prices on quality products and I happily walked away with Bloch Tap Shoes and Capezio Jazz Sneakers. read more

They are so experienced, knowledgeable, and consider each individual dancer's experience, foot structure, and strength when fitting a pointe shoe. I'm so glad I can be confident that my daughter has the proper pointe shoe for her foot. I also appreciate all of the knowledge and information they shared with us on pointe shoes. They are open Monday through Saturday and are conveniently located right off I-4, in the Millenia area. Great store for Dance wear. Conveniently located near the mall. Service was great, mixed with a few snarky comments. My boyfriend: I need a size bigger Snarky clerk: Whoa you've got some big feet! Me: Yep, lucky me. *eye roll They are ordering some shoes for us in two sizes to try on which is great. One thing that really bothers me is the staff do not wear uniforms or name tags so it was confusing to figure out who could/would help us find some ballroom shoes. We live four hours away from N'Styl - there is not a dance wear store near our hometown that can begin to compare with this incredible store! We actually plan trips to Orlando so we can shop here! Linda (CEO/ Owner/Instructor) is a pointe shoe fitting expert - she spent over one hour (most of that time, she was sitting on the floor closely looking at my child's feet) with my daughter fitting her pointe shoes (daughter has narrow heels and long toes #hardtofit). My daughter tried on a dozen or more different brands (with different shanks and vamps) to find the perfect pointe shoe. The result was that mom and daughter got a lesson in how the shoes should look and fit and feel on the dancer's feet. Helpful hint: call ahead and make an appointment for pointe shoe fitting. This store is busy (phone rings constantly) and making an appointment is a smart move. Also, if you have a pair of pointe shoes that you've been dancing in, bring them with you to your fitting so that Linda can see them. We have received good, honest advice from their helpful and knowledgeable staff. I agree with another comment that some type of identification for the employees would be a good idea. Purchased $108 worth of wear specifically for a Christmas present. Told the clerk it was for a Christmas present and asked if it could be returned. Told yes but only for exchange. Went today to exchange, never worn, tags attached, recipe in hand. Coward owner stayed in the back. Refused to exchange except for same item in different size but they no longer carried any of that item. Would have gladly taken another size but not possible. NEVER again. Had a great experience here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The selection is pretty good and some of the leotards they have there are beautiful! I have a kind of strict budget so I can't always splurge on their leos and such but they do offer 10% off for teachers which I am so that was pretty nice. On 3 separate fitting appts., we received unprofessional customer service. It felt like a daycare because the staff's toddlers were interfering with our fittings. When we brought it to the co-owners attention who we were waiting on for 20 extra minutes while she was taking care of her screaming child in the back, she was unapologetic and said her baby comes first. We told her this was unprofessional business practice and she refused to service us any further so we drove 2 hours back home without point shoes for our daughter. It's not worth the trip! Today I went in to this store and asked for someone to help me find some pointe shoes. I saw 2 employees pass by me when I asked for help. Neither of them helped. My mom had to park the car and when she walked in, she noticed that I was not being helped. I FINALLY get someone to help me and I sit down on the benches. I see the girls next to me getting such nice service with the employees helping them with them on the floor saying where it's too tight or too loose. My lady (well teen actually) just stood there and said "does that feel alright?" HOW WOULD I KNOW?! I ended up not buying a pointe shoe that fit me correctly and barged out of the store in tears for feeling like such an idiot for not knowing how to explain that the shoes were too hard in one place or another. This service was AWFUL do NOT go here! The people were sooooooooo RUDE. I am NEVER going to make the hour and 45 minute drive to such an unprofessional place. read more
