Just know that it is CASH ONLY (and there is an ATM on site) and the drinks will run you upwards of $15 or so. Each one is very well worth it, and you're there for a specific ambience, so pony up and enjoy. If you don't know that the entrance is in the alley off of 19th, then you will miss it altogether. I am not saying a blast because it's clean, full, and what you'd consider to generally be a good time. I say it was a blast because it was completely random, unexpected, full of character. The regulars who could have easily scoffed at us, gave us hugs on our way out. This is a locals bar, but, we were welcomed as soon as we entered and stayed for hours chatting and enjoying the tropical vibe of the place. They have karaoke nights and a big outdoor area in the back where it seems people gather during nicer weather days.
