Just know that it is CASH ONLY (and there is an ATM on site) and the drinks will run you upwards of $15 or so. Each one is very well worth it, and you're there for a specific ambience, so pony up and enjoy. If you don't know that the entrance is in the alley off of 19th, then you will miss it altogether. While they didn't have a traditional dirty martini that I enjoy, the bartender recommended something and offered to remake it for me if I didn't enjoy it. This is a side room, just off of of the beginning of the Festival of Lights path, that has a small pond, some plants and some Christmas lights to add to the theme. A small banquet-style bar is set up on the side. Some tables and chairs are set off to the other side. The menu features blue island-inspired and darker Pain Killer rum-inspired premixed (pre-made?) drinks that are poured and served like a Slurpee at 7-Eleven. They. Are. Awesome. They come with a little kick, too. Just enough to take the edge off before and during the journey. If you're not into the festive pours, that's okay. Limited domestic beers and simple mixed drinks are also available. The drinks are sold at event prices. They're poured that way, too. It's an a-ok bar, but it's kind of fun, and 'Tis the season. I am not saying a blast because it's clean, full, and what you'd consider to generally be a good time. I say it was a blast because it was completely random, unexpected, full of character. The regulars who could have easily scoffed at us, gave us hugs on our way out. This is a locals bar, but, we were welcomed as soon as we entered and stayed for hours chatting and enjoying the tropical vibe of the place. They have karaoke nights and a big outdoor area in the back where it seems people gather during nicer weather days. I think there are live music events there, and all in all, I would highly recommend checking it out if you're ever in Belton randomly like we were. We didn't try the food but someone told us it's fairly decent.
