Do they have a happy hour?

They do not have happy hour, but I will say the cost of drinks are normally cheaper than most places.

We had a lovely tour of J. Rieger distillery today. Joe was our tour guide. He was amazing!…read more The tour started with a 10 minute movie about the history of KC, the distillery and older businesses. The tour was full of interesting information and history. We enjoyed the details and descriptions of the distillery operations. The rick house was impressive. We finished with a tasting of four spirits. The vodka, gin, Kansas City whiskey and coffee liqueur. All were excellent. J. Rieger is the top distillery in the metro, for sure. Highest quality. They even have a spiral slide from the restaurant down to the bottom floor. We enjoyed the tasting room and cocktails outside where we could hear music from Knuckleheads next door. We'd go again and bring more people. So much fun!!

When are waitress arrived, she asked if we were ready to order but we had no menus. We jokingly asked if menus were provided and she brought us one. One. I asked if we could each get a menu and she brought us one more and told us we'd need to share. Cocktails were ordered and enjoyed. Appetizer ordered, then our meals. We ordered from the RW menu and off the regular menu. The food was good. The portions were small. But the service continued to be poor. At one point, a server, not ours, walked by and grabbed my drink but I wasn't finished with it. Just those little things that add up that make the experience not great. It's a fun atmosphere and will try them again for hopefully a better experience.

The horsefeather is a must try! The space is really open and caters to the events they host there from time to time. We sat an one of their half circle booths with green velvet which really set the vibe. I ordered the flat iron steak which comes with a delicious cream sauce and an incredible peppercorn rub seasoning. I ordered it medium rare and it came out perfect, very juicy and perfect doneness. I was surprised that it was such a small steak though, easily a 6oz steak. The fingerling potatoes were also truly incredible, soft and seasoned with something that is truly addicting tasting! My partner ordered the fried green tomato sandwich and she had only rave reviews about it. Service was excellent, our server was knowledgeable about the menu and especially the cocktails. They have a sort of small menu but gives one just enough options and I will say definitely something for most everyone.

The meals here are shareable! We shared - Brussel Sprouts - cooked with applewood smoked bacon, game changer! KC Burnt ends - my husband said he could only tastes the whiskey. I couldn't. Salumi Board - I could go without it. I just wish they had more variety on their menu. Per usual, I had the old fashion & loved it.

Score has pool tables and darts which seemed popular. They also had karaoke going on which always seems to draw a crowd. The kitchen was open late and I was starving so I ordered a steak salad, definitely recommend as it was cooked to order with a nice amount steak on top. Prices were on par with sports bar prices. The bartender was very friendly and encouraged me to go up and sing. After some liquid courage I got up the nerve to sing a sing. The karaoke host was cool and welcoming too. There's pool tables and I may have seen ski-ball. I didn't know it was there. If you try to find it, it's across the highway from Dixons Chili. It's best to go the back way on 35th St. or 40 highway and turn right at Family Dollar. My friend and I ordered fried corn ( like fried mushrooms). They were so delicious I forgot to photograph. I really need to return for fried chicken though. The service was top notch and the seats comfortable. There's classic rock facts rolling across the tv. This place would be fun for a Chief's game.
