Do they have a happy hour?

They do not have happy hour, but I will say the cost of drinks are normally cheaper than most places.

Came here for an event on the other side. I grabbed the Smashburger and the Smash Fries, and I made…read morethe Smashburger a double. So I'll say that the Double Smash Burger is a three out of five from a standpoint of how much food you get. Definitely gives you the quantity of food, but from a quality standpoint, the bun didn't really speak to me. The seasoning of the burger didn't really speak to me, nor did the sauce on it. It was okay, it was just okay from that standpoint. So when you talk about the fries, I also say that it's a three out of five. The sauce is good. The crunch of the waffle fry is there. They're not overcooked or undercooked or anything like that, but they just don't give, oh my God, if you will. The chopped up smash burger isn't really chopped up as much as you would think. It's more of a patty with a couple chops where it needed to be more thoroughly chopped and spread across, if you will. It's definitely filling. They do not skimp you when it comes down to the quantity of food, but the quality of the flavor just doesn't make me say, "Heck yeah, I want to order that again." The experience, the area, the seating, the atmosphere, the live music, all of that is absolutely there. You can't take that away from the location. From a standpoint, if I have to run and tell everybody to try this food, that just wasn't there, and the prices weren't ridiculous either. I'm not going to say that they knock you over the head for the amount of food or for the food itself, but that's my experience. If you've never been here, you should definitely go check out the live music and check out the space. It's definitely a fun place to be out in the open, breathing clean air. Give it a try.

You order food and drinks from separate trailers and sit outdoors on comfy sofas or tables strewn throughout. The drink trailer has their signature cocktails available plus what they fall freezes. I tried the rotating freeze which is made with vodka and various citrus flavors. It was cold and tart and super refreshing on a hot afternoon. They have some great happy hour deals from 3-6pm as well! A member of my group ordered from the food trailer and I tried some of her fries and they were fresh, nicely salted, and beer battered. Super delicious and I didn't even need a dipping sauce. I would love to come back here and try some more options and lucky for me it's less than 2 miles from where I work.

The horsefeather is a must try! The space is really open and caters to the events they host there from time to time. We sat an one of their half circle booths with green velvet which really set the vibe. I ordered the flat iron steak which comes with a delicious cream sauce and an incredible peppercorn rub seasoning. I ordered it medium rare and it came out perfect, very juicy and perfect doneness. I was surprised that it was such a small steak though, easily a 6oz steak. The fingerling potatoes were also truly incredible, soft and seasoned with something that is truly addicting tasting! My partner ordered the fried green tomato sandwich and she had only rave reviews about it. Service was excellent, our server was knowledgeable about the menu and especially the cocktails. They have a sort of small menu but gives one just enough options and I will say definitely something for most everyone.

Score has pool tables and darts which seemed popular. They also had karaoke going on which always seems to draw a crowd. The kitchen was open late and I was starving so I ordered a steak salad, definitely recommend as it was cooked to order with a nice amount steak on top. Prices were on par with sports bar prices. The bartender was very friendly and encouraged me to go up and sing. After some liquid courage I got up the nerve to sing a sing. The karaoke host was cool and welcoming too. Score was a great score indeed!

Pleasantly surprising, the place draws a demographic outwardly decent people it seems. So far so good. Beer...cold. Service...above average. Why a 3-star? The food. The menu brags of hand-breaded bone-in wings. If they are hand breaded, then I should be able to get them naked (no breading). They seem to have this confused here also for (no sauce). The wings are available with breading only; which means...you got it...prefab, breaded, frozen chicken wings (not what was on the menu). It shined through shamelessly. 1. So salty I couldn't eat them 2. Mushy meat I sent them back and got the fish and chips. It was just as good. Gnarly frozen fries with the weird crispy chemical on them. The fish was mediocre. Disappointed. Come for drinks. They serve them up promptly in a surprisingly clean environment (considering the area) and the staff and clientele are decent folks. Good place to check out sports and live music. I'll be back.

We had the caramel cream ale, which is in my top 5 beers of all time. Perfectly sweet and light. The peach tee kolsch was good too- a nice balance of peach. The cherry limeade wheat was right on the edge of sour. It was good that it was served in a smaller glass so we didn't do too much of it. We also did a shot of the stonebreaker cinnamon whiskey, which was a really nice collab between fringe and another local distillery. Super smooth with an oaky flavor on the background. Absolutely love the dark carnival decor, especially the pinball machines, the giant skeleton and the patio with a garage door interior. Highly highly recommend on every level. You should go!

I tasted 10 during my visit and every single beer was worth trying. My faves were: Freshly Squeezed Blueberry Lemonade Wheat, Apple Pie Milkshake IPA and Calliope Caramel Cream Ale. Finally, the most important part of the operation is the people. Every single person that was present made me feel welcome and like I was already a part of their community. WOW, I was left feeling like I'd made new friends which I know I did. I travel to KC at least once per year and every year I will return to support this awesome brewery. Thank you for a memorable experience.
