We got there at 2:15 for our 2:30 appointment. I didn't get my new patient paperwork until 2:45. We sat there until 4:10 PM before I asked for my copay refund and got up and left. Then the office workers were trying to make me feel guilty because they said they had people dying in here with melanoma and I'm asking about my appointment. I made this appointment four months ago and got a babysitter to come over here to it. It's not like these people snuck up on you. You all schedule the appointments. My husband had made an appointment for a bad place on his face. She was booked out a few months....ok. Well they called a few days before that appointment saying that she was not going to be there that day and that we needed to reschedule. As frustrating as that was we did because again it was BAD place on his face, we rescheduled for a couple months later. WELL......the day BEFORE that appointment they called and said she was not going to be there. I was livid. I said NO! That was UNACCEPTABLE, this was two times in a row....my husband has GBM4 and had worried himself to death over that place on his face. The young girl had someone else talk to me .....and again I said NO...I had taken off work, it was 1.5 hours away from our home, it needs looked at ASAP and someone was gonna look at it. I told them to not bother calling back. We had been in Somerset that day so on the way home we stopped by Ky Derm in London (It is has a new name now but hubby had been there before years ago) They got him in the next day for a biopsy and guess what....it was a skin cancer that had to be removed at their Lexington office. I will NEVER recommend Dr Knuckles to anyone. They seem to be so very disrespectful of everyone else's time. read more

While traveling to my appointment, I was involved in a minor car accident. After calling 911, and speaking with a deputy, I immediately called to cancel my appointment. Her office staff was kind and compassionate, and said to call back and reschedule. I called the next morning, and was told that I could not reschedule because I had missed my appointment and didn't call, and because I was a new patient. Neither of these is true. I am going to tell this story and I really didn't want too, but my heart is broken that a professional doctor would treat her patients like Dr. Knuckles does. It is like she has no respect for her patients. She acts like she is above you and you will have to wait until she sees you regardless how long it takes. I have been to lots of different types of doctors and never treated like this one did us. First of all, our first appointment was scheduled for April 18th. we drove an hour and half to the appointment and we get there and it being a holiday weekend, the traffic was bad. We were informed that the doctor decided to take the day off. It was Good Friday. Well, I was upset, but we rescheduled and came back home. I asked the Receptionist why we weren't notified that the appointment would not happen due to Dr. Knuckles deciding apparently at the last minute she was taking the day off. She replied that she didn't have a number to contact us to let us know. So, I said yes you do have our number because after you recieved the referral from my family doctor, someone from that office called and gave us the appointment time and date. I also told them that they had the referring doctors information and they could have called him and got our phone number. She says I don't know. Well, today was the appointment for the second time and we went and we got there early to complete the paper work since we were new patients. appointment was for 11:00 and we arrived at 10:30, at 1:00, we were still there and not one staff member says anything about them running behind or anything. I felt like we were wasting our time, we left. There were notes all over the walls that were giving prices for botox and different types of treatments for wrinkle removal. there were also a note stating that she did not remove moles or any age spots or etc. We weren't there to actually get anything we removed but to see if the spots were cancerous or pre-cancerous. you can do what you like, but try to find you another dermatologist. Went in looking for a local dermatologist and this one is right up the road so I gave it a try despite the other reviews. Take my advice and don't. Very rude receptionist who does things in her own time and order, not caring if you are waiting or not. And let's talk about waiting. After 20 minutes in the lobby I spent one hour and forty five minutes in a closet size "exam room". All for Dr Knuckles to come in and claim that my condition is healed despite the issues I had. Got an appointment due to a cancellation. And like others there in the waiting area we sat there for at least 2 hours. When called back I then waited for approx 20+ minutes. When the doctor barged in she said I know that I running behind but I am the best and will take good care of you. (What a bunch of crap to say the least). After spending less than 5 minutes with me and barely addressing the issue I came in for. She went off in a different direction. Saying that she can take care of any dry skin I have and shrinking of my pores. Not what I came for by the way. After telling me that it would cost $150 per session and it would require 8 sessions to remove skin tags she was gone. What a mess of an office. I can't speak highly enough of this physician. She is the best in Madison county and takes pride in her patients care. These last few comments from these people are so far from true. And as a medical professional my self, Accutane was something that for sure must be followed strictly. U can't just move your apt up because u wanted or needed to. It does have to be atleast 30 days. I give the front office a NEGATIVE 25 stars because they are so inefficient. Dr. Knuckles is a good doctor, but she has a real problem with her front office staff. My wife had an appointment today (11/13/2017) at 9:15 AM. (she had a card with her showing the appointment day and time). My wife arrived at 9:00 AM. After my wife setting for approx. 45 minutes the front office staff informed her that her appointment was on 11/17/2017 at 8:15 AM. This instance is nothing new. In the past we have had several times where the front office staff lost (misplaced) my wife's chart which caused extreme wait times (several hours). read more

Long waits beyond appointment time, doctor is always in a rush and eager to get away from you, rude staff, and you'd think if you require an office visit for medication refills every 30 days, the receptionist would schedule you back before your 30-day supply runs out? Nope, 3rd month straight I've been scheduled as far as 6-weeks out, and when I complain, they say "it's all we have"... well, then how about giving me a script that lasts more than 30-days??? Dysfunctional and disorganized are the two best words to describe this office. read more
