Jacey was so accommodating when we had to reschedule day of when my daughter worsened. The day of the reschedule came and she really captured my vision for this shoot with the location and my 2 outfit changes. We've have had a handful of shoots from engagement, our wedding, maternity to newborn and this was one of the easiest and most enjoyable shoots we've had. We were done shooting in a little over an hour, with a toddler (huge win!). Jacey showed me one photo on her camera the day of with no edits and I just knew they were gonna be gorgeous. What's worse is she does not know how to shoot flattering headshots or lifestyle photography. Another photographer looked at the pictures that she did send, and was in agreement that Deborah did not grasp the nuances of my face, and shot mostly from below! Incredibly unflattering! This was before she opened La Ti Da and just ran her photography business out of her home. She met us for the first time at a park, and I must admit I was a little nervous for our first time family pictures! I was put at ease the second I met her. Kim has such a beautiful personality, and really brings out the best in everyone on and off camera. She spent more than the allotted time with us, and even went off and took one on one pictures with my (then 3 year old) daughter. She made the best impression on us and the pictures turned out absolutely amazing. I have used her for family pics, and individual "yearly" pics of my daughter ever since. Please remember that it's a one woman show, and she really takes time on each of her clients pictures. You're not getting some cheap unedited sears portrait done where they snap it and print it the same day. She takes time to carefully select the BEST pictures out of the hundreds she takes, and edit out imperfections!
