I went to Flagship for the first time today. I had Scott as a stylists. To say that I am elated by my haircut, is an understatement. Scott interpreted exactly how I want my hair on the first haircut. Scott and the staff are very nice and the ambiance is calm and relaxed, unlike some salons where everything seems to be chaotic. I will definitely go back there again. I setup my appointment with Jill O'Hara to have my ratty + faded COVID hair turned into a fresh cut with lots of dimension (See before and after photos for reference). What she did was EXACTLY what I wanted AND better. She turned my dark overgrown roots into a beautiful beige base then added highlights and lowlights with three different toners in a bayalage technique to add some ash and gold tones, giving me better-than-pinterest hair. I used to go to Coles Salon and even The District Hair to attempt at getting my dream hair. Their results were pretty...but never exactly what I wanted. Over the years, this had increasingly discouraged me and I learned to accept that no one could execute hair perfectly, we are human afterall; HOWEVER, Jill HEARD me and clearly understood MY VISION before starting the process, with no unexpected turns along the way. It turns out, it IS possible to have your dream hair- you just need to visit a hair professional who is skilled enough and is an expert in their field (see her resume on Flagship.com Seriously). There is nothing gimmicky about her hair coloring/cutting/styling technique. It is sheer attention to detail combined with her professional knowledge and experience that makes her capable, I believe, of giving ANYONE their dream hair. At no point during the process, did I feel she was rushing or cutting corners. I have never felt so important as a hair client in my life. Additionally, I received a hair quote for the appointment which comforted me in the process when I realized just how much work was actually going I to my hair. I really love seeing my stylist here. Michelle B. takes the time to listen to your wants and needs. She hardly ever rushes and makes sure you get the service you're paying for. I haven't been here in 1.5 years due to the pandemic, but once face masks go away, I'll be making appointments again. I'd give five stars but took one off because for a person who can't walk well, you have to use stairs to get to the second floor and that's not very convenient. read more

I purchased Groupon deal - $99 for eye lash extensions. Made an appointment for September 2. Today is September 6th and my eyelashes look like I need refill already! I started losing eye lashes on the second day after they been done! As of today I lost 11 eye lashes - 10 from on eye and today one from another. The whole procedure was very pleasant and smooth. I had my eye shadow on so the extensions looked good at first. When I took my make-up off later that day, I instantly realized that there were no extensions placed on both corners of my eyes - inner and outer corners . Lashes looked rather grotesque without make up. Just middle of the eyelid had long curly lashes. Even though I've been told that I still can use mascara, just not water proof, I have not used any. Didn't take shower for two days to avoid steam, used q-tips to remove eye shadow and oil-free make-up remover. Apparently that didn't save my eyelashes. In less than a week I need to make an appointment for refill. This time I am going to the place with the most positive reviews. I went to Flagship salon for the first time Saturday. My next door neighbor recommended Jill. I've am ecstatic over the results of my color and cut. She did the best job on my hair,and the friendliest person. I felt like we have been friends for ever and she told me the truth about what my hair should look like. The salon is beautiful and all the staff and owner very friendly. The price was right and the products were reasonably priced. I would recommend it to everyone. Flagship Salon was unbelievably clean and friendly at the same time. I had my hair cut and colored by Athena, and frankly it was perfect. ATHENA IS A GODDESS NOT JUST IN GREEK MYTHOLOGY BUT IN HAIR AS WELL. She instantly knew my skin tone, and what would look trendy (long bob) versus good on my face (layers). I usually get my hair done in NYC and I am going to start scheduling appointments in Minnesota whenever I am in town because it is THAT MUCH BETTER. I was very impressed. This place had a great atmosphere, it was very clean and they showcase local artists' artwork on the wall. Walking in I was greeted by the receptionist and asked if I'd like anything to drink. She was very attentive and friendly. Worst salon experience of my life. I went in once for a cut and color and had to go back twice more for color corrections. It still wasn't what I asked for and left with fairly damaged hair. I had to drive back home just to get the color fixed. I would not recommend this salon for hair color. read more

Bought the $99 Groupon for lash extensions, and was generally disappointed. I was brought to a corner of the salon that lacked privacy and had an old salon chair with dirty, flattened pillows on it to provide a comfortable experience, I guess. I've always been in massage/facial room for lash extensions so this was kind of a shock. There was no area to wash your hands or imply that cleanliness was a priority. The environment was extremely loud. The lash technician poked my eye several times with a very sharp, pointed tweezers which became unnerving. The end result was that on first glance, my lashes looked AMAZING! Second glance, at home, there are clumped lashes, some applied to my skin, no lashes applied to the outer eye area... I can say, they are staying on but I kinda want to take them off !!! They are starting to droop in front of my eyes. You can & should go to another salon - they're out there for the same price but will provide a better experience/quality. read more

I had my hair cut with Athena and it was perfect. She is so personable and super friendly. The ~40 minutes it took to wash and cut my hair just flew by. She was able to blend what I wanted with what my hair needed in a way that looks great. I actually called in the morning and asked for an appointment for that day, the receptionist was very accommodating and fit me in. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. I have been seeing Lia there for a long time, and she is amazing. I have never found a better stylist. She is bright and positive, and amazing at coloring and cutting hair. She always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. I can't say enough about her and this salon. The manager and staff are incredibly friendly as well, and they always make sure you are comfortable. You can even have a glass of wine and relax. Lia is also amazing at brow waxing. My husband and father also go here, and she is great at men's hair too. I would recommend her to anyone who wanted to have great looking hair, and I am sorry that the person with the eyelashes had a bad experience here because mine have never been short of amazing.
