What should have been a simple and professional process turned into an experience filled with disrespect, intimidation, and unfair treatment. The property manager, Colleen, consistently demonstrated unprofessional behavior. When I reached out to express genuine concerns, she chose to portray herself as the victim and dismissed me by saying I was "ranting" instead of addressing the issues at hand. Her attitude was consistently rude and condescending, and I truly regret ever renting from this company. Despite having the home professionally cleaned and detailed, they still claimed that nothing was acceptable. More than half of my deposit was taken without proper justification. Instead of transparency, I was met with threats--Colleen told me that if I pursued small claims, I would lose simply because they "have an attorney." She even made degrading comments that implied I was somehow unhygienic because I have two small children. No parent should ever be spoken to that way. I requested a move-out walkthrough weeks in advance, emailing multiple times, yet I was refused on three separate occasions--despite providing proof. Rather than taking responsibility for their actions, they continually shifted the blame onto me. The entire experience felt misleading, manipulative, and completely lacking in basic respect or integrity. I am sharing this so others can avoid the stress, mistreatment, and emotional toll I went through. Please think twice before renting with this company. No one deserves to be robbed of their deposit or treated with such disregard and disrespect.

We found a house we loved, but unfortunately it went under contract before I made the call to the Hiller Group. Daniel responded very quickly and got us several listings in the area matching our needs (some were not even listed on realtor.com or Zillow) and we quickly fell in love with a home. When we contacted Daniel about the property he quickly arranged to go to the property to do a showing via video call since we were in California and gave us his honest opinion and recommendations throughout the walkthrough. My husband and I quickly fell in love with the property. Daniel, respectfully gave us time to discuss it but my husband and I had already made our minds up so we quickly called Daniel back and asked him to draw up the contract. Daniel was very responsive and got the contract to us quickly for signing according to our wishes and delivered to the seller for approval. We just beat someone else on submitting a contract and since we were quicker the sellers went with our offer. We then transitioned to Bryanna who assisted us through the escrow process. Bryanna kept us well informed throughout the entire process and answered all of our questions. When we made it to Florida, days before closing, she and Paige met us at the property so we could walk through the property in person and answered our questions. Paige was at our closing prepared to answer our questions and to welcome us to Florida! Such a seamless transaction from start to finish! I highly recommend the Hiller Group to anyone. If you're doing any kind of bathroom or kitchen project in the Fort Walton Beach area, let me save you some time and frustration... We DIYed our master bathroom and needed a custom vanity top (because of course ours had to be an odd size ). We first tried a place in Crestview--less than helpful. The saleswoman was pushing a full $40K remodel... hard pass. Then we tried another slab dealer in Crestview. We actually picked out a slab and then... nothing. Two weeks of calls and zero follow-up for installation. BUT--everything worked out the way it was supposed to because we found @King Granite and Quartz at 60 Beal Pkwy SW in Fort Walton Beach From the first call, it was a completely different experience. King scheduled us for the very next day to pick out our slab, and within ONE WEEK it was fabricated and installed. We chose Fantasy Brown and it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. King was fast, friendly, professional, and truly cared about getting it right. No pressure, no upsell--just solid work and great service. The proof is in the results... we LOVE our new bathroom!
