    Fresh fruit available for $3

THEY SHOOT - WE SCORE!! Healthy options available at a hockey game? Yes, please! As a season ticket holder for the Anaheim Ducks, I try to avoid buying the food items at the Honda Center. Partially because it costs an arm and a leg, but also because most of the food isn't good for you. Sure, a casual fan can take in nachos, hot dog and a beer, but going to at 40+ games a season, I would like something a bit healthier, and eating a pretzel every game gets old, not to mention carby. A few years ago, I spoke with Mr Versace, head of the food and beverage, in great details about giving fans the option of healthier snacks. The biggest obstacle (he said) was not enough fans really seemed to want them. They tried it with hummus, then added a few fresh fruits, but they went bad by the 3rd game. My rebuttal was: Well, duh!! If they don't promote they have that healthy option, fans won't know. Keep trying, I said. Somehow the Honda Center and Melissa's Produce came into an agreement, and in the 200 level was given a kiosk with a medley of fresh fruits, some nuts and dried fruit. It didn't start off very strong, but I think now its caught on, as I find myself getting to the kiosk earlier to get an Sumo orange, Asian Pear, or even the plumpest grapes I've seen before they sell out. Its also a bargain at $3.00 each, which is about the same price I pay when I go to the Korean markets or even Whole Food. Thank you Melissa's Produce for giving the option of healthier snacks! They also have gluten free items. They're located near Wahoo's in the lower level, and in the 400 level near 434. They may have similar selections at the Staples Center and the Stub Hub Center.

You just go up, order, pay, they give you a buzzer and you pick up your order when it rings and vibrates. The burger was really for my daughter as my wife and I were going to go to Mitsuwa later to grab a bite to eat at one of the food stalls there. The adults were there to enjoy a nice day out with a couple of brewskies. The single patty MCB that we ordered came with cheese and a bun and a couple packets of ketchup. I had a bite of her burger and thought it was good - just felt it needed seasoning. I was teetering between a 3 and 4-star review and my daughter said she loved it and to give Hangaburs four stars. I told her, "you got it dude!" The ladies here were so nice and friendly and their other menu items looked delicious as other people sitting near us ordered. Definitely will be trying them again! Hopefully soon!

The folks are really friendly and like other pop-ups at breweries, this place has a chill vibe. I ordered the original with everything with just a single patty. The flavors are great and they have a good amount of pickle. The texture for a smash burger is perfect. It's got that nice crunch, but still a great flavor to it. The bun they used was good as well. All now just a really good burger. Look on their Instagram account at Hangaburs to see where they will be popping up. I myself Emma a fan that they are at breweries because their burgers go great with the beers.

After several visits, I started to realize that the food is too greasy. Yes, I am aware this isn't meant to be some Erewhon salad shit with supergreens, kale, and quinoa, but there's a certain point where you're just biting into a grease sponge. It's also very salty. Speaking of salty, the pickled onions are salty too. Everything is so salty and this is coming from someone who loves salty and greasy food. The last time I had a burrito here I had grease running off the foil and down my arm. The prices aren't very good either considering they aren't even an actual restaurant. In short, I only came here as a last resort. The food is beyond greasy and too salty even by my standards. If other options are available I would recommend going elsewhere instead.

We've tried the hot link corn dog, and it was so flavorful with just the right amount of kick. We've also had the deep fried elote dog when it was available, and it was just as delicious a great addition if you're looking for something a little extra. One of the biggest things we appreciate about this location is the seating. There's a good amount of tables right next to the stand, and a lot of them are in the shade, which makes it so easy to grab your food and actually sit and enjoy it comfortably especially on a warm day. We've also used mobile ordering here, and it's been super convenient. Once our pickup window opens, we've never had to wait more than about 10 minutes, which is a huge plus during a busy park day. Even the regular lines haven't been too bad from what we've seen. Overall, this is a great spot with good food, efficient service, and really convenient seating, which makes it one of our favorites in the park. Another simple stop that turns into a satisfying little moment for us.

A nice gentleman told me he makes the best hotdogs around. I ignored two huge red flags: no people in line for these special dogs and the $19.00 price tag for a hotdog. I took the bait and ordered one. My only way to describe what I paid twenty hard earned dollars for is garbage. Cold bun, a lukewarm over cooked hotdog, wrapped in bacon, smoked to a crisp, stuffed with fries, cheese and sour cream. The hotdog was drier than a piece of beef jerky. Oh yeah, it was covered with dried out Korean beef on top. Again, dry and lukewarm. Tasteless. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

And one of the ways you do that is to buy yourself a smoked dog topped with gobs of pulled pork, onion shreds, and a deep-fried pickle on top. Then you squirt some tangy aioli atop the whole deal. The service was excellent as the guys kept making some great suggestions that didn't have the air of the same 'ole inane chitchat. Plus, when you throw in some free bacon mac how could I think the folks working here are anything but stellar? All in all, this is a great hidden nook if you're in the mood for some great dogs with a decidedly Southern twist.
