After being at the B&M site, we decided to check out Don Churros in their food truck site. Prices are the same as well as having the same selection. It is conveniently located near Disneyland down the road by a few minutes though they're only open Thursdays thru Sundays in the afternoon into the evening. You can even call in your order without having the wait in line. Highly suggested on the weekend evenings but don't wait too long as they can sometimes run on out on certain items that you may want. You call or text their number. I texted them with my order and it was nice, hot and ready when you get in. Here's the thing about ordering via text. Make sure you text so it does not mess the flow of the regular line. This was asked of me when I made my order. Service is pretty quick, the employees seem nice, and the churros are heavenly. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. They are crispy fried on the outside but fluffy and soft on the inside. We always get the Full thread for the four of us and we can't finish, which is rare, we bring it home and air fry any leftovers. With the churros we always buy their dipping sauces and all of them are great. Great churros, ice cream , drinks and drizzles. You can't go wrong! There are a few benches you can sit at that are in near the food truck where you can either sit to eat or even wait for your order. Thank you Don Churros for your delicious desserts! First time here and got the Don Churro, which is a wide churro with caramel filling. The churro is big enough to share! The churro itself gets 4/5 as it is freshly made and tasty eaten on the spot. It's a food truck but there are standing tables. They get 2/5 for pricing transparency. The Don Churro is listed as $3.75 plus tax, so I was confused why my total came out to $9.50 for two. They were shady in explaining the pricing and did not provide a receipt without request. As you can see from my receipt, it somehow ends up being $4.50 with "tax", and there is a hidden $1 fee for using a credit card. Most places charge at most 3% for using a card, so I think their pricing is very sus. Overall, they get 3/5 (4/5 for the food and 2/5 for the pricing transparency). Probably won't be back due to the sketchiness of their pricing.

I'm not a big sweets/dessert guy but I actually sought out this place and it delivered. Boy did it deliver, DoorDash couldn't have done better. Their ice cream is awesome too. The cold/hot, sweet/salty, soft/crunch, yin & yang dance your mouth does after each bite will make you glad you hunted for parking, walked past sus stores, avoid eye contact w/ full goth pedestrians, and resist the savory wafts of taco trucks to get to this sweet savory slice of heaven.
Love love loveee this place. The churros w/ icecream make the perfect sweet treat! Wait times can be long, I've waited up to 20min (even more on some days) but there's always a taco truck right next to it that we eat while we wait lol. Plenty of parking, so most people wait in their cars for their order (they have a buzzer they give you to alert that the order is ready). However, many groups just hang around and chat with some stand up tables & benches scattered around. Service is always kind & fast. Will always come back here when I crave churros. Side note: they also have opened an actual storefront in Santa Ana apparently, so if the truck line gets long you can go there instead (10mins~ ish away from truck).
I've been watching this place for a while and I'm so glad I finally got to go! I got there when they opened the doors and to tell you that within minutes there was a huge line out the door would be an understatement. The churros were amazing. To crunchy and light but just how they should be. It was busy in there but they move fast and seem to have a great pager system that helps to know when your order is ready. I'll definitely be back when I need a sweet treat
stumbled upon another Don churro's location. It's dangerous now that I find out that the food truck is pretty close to me. This time I tried their Don churros, but I still love their regular churro sticks. It's very airy and never change since the first time I tried them. Expect a long wait because this couple of food trucks are around here so this parking plaza can get pretty crowded. They have a lot of lights so it's pretty bright.
Tried single traditional and single don gomez churros and got chocolate and cajeta on the side. Both churros were sooo good. the single traditional is very fried with soft center, quite sugary though! Boyfriend thought it was a smidge too greasy but I wasn't bothered and thought it was delicious. First time trying a don gomez churro - They gave it to us w/ cajeta. and it was dang good. definitely a different experience and would've been even better with ice cream. kind of like a churro baguette. didn't think i was going to like it but i really did. it's a food truck. no wait on a thursday night. had some benches to sit on. parking is plentiful in the lot. YUM. 3.25 for traditional, 3.75 for don gomez.
We found this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try. It's a truck parked in a huge parking lot near Disneyland. There is a line so be patient. They have a few options , pictures, snd prices on the menu. They do them fresh right in front of you. They were very good and my kids loved them.
Such a solid spot for freshly made churros! The texture is perfect: crispy on the outside yet airy/soft in the inside. It was busy on a weekend as expected but we received our box of churros within 10-15 minutes. Parking can be a pain since it's mostly metered parking. There was a lot nearby but it was closed when we went. There were a few tables inside but definitely not for big parties and it can feel a bit narrow/tight on a busy day.
Until Yelp fixes this issue, this Anaheim location on 1440 S Anaheim Blvd is Don Churros food truck location with very different hours compared to their brick and mortar location in Santa Ana. Even though they recently opened their brick and mortar, I still come back to their food truck because I do not like the hassle of downtown Santa Ana. I love that their churros continue to be light and crispy. There is just no place that does it so well. I feel that the churro pieces have gotten shorter, so it's a better bang for your buck if you buy the entire thread versus the individual pieces. The owner is often here as the cashier and he is just the most awesome person. I got here right at opening at 5:30pm on Saturday and there was no line. Perhaps the Santa Ana location has helped offset some of the long lines here.
Alrighty, here I go with Don Churros verdict. Inviting entrance, sparkly clean, and the most welcoming guy at cash register. So far so good! Ordered churros with a side of lechera, cajeta, and hot chocolate. Churros - delicious! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside...just as a gooood churro should be. Yum! Lechera - not your common lechera...tasted like melted sugar...not a fan. Cajeta - smooth and pretty darn good for dipping and for just about anything else. Hot Chocolate - glitch! Gentleman tried mixing that bad boy (big container containing HC) to get that "Abuelita Chocolate" flavor, but no luck! It tasted like hot milk, water, and a splash of chocolate. Bummer! Trendy, loud catchy music, delicious churros, and great service! Parking available along 4th street. Try it!
The churros here are some of the best churros I've ever had!!! They're super long crispy on the outside and extremely fresh. I love the chocolate and caramel dip. The churros are really big so easy to share a box. Since they make it very fresh it can take a bit of time for them to make it and usually there's a line. Highly recommend!!
We literally ordered from Postmates the next night. That's how good it was. Found them on Instagram and added it to the list immediately -- had to try these churros while we were down in SoCal. Their truck spot in Anaheim is such a vibe, only 8 mins from our hotel near Disneyland so there was no excuse not to go. Jaime helped us figure out what to order our first time which was honestly so needed because the menu is a lot in the best way. We got there with just a couple people in line and by the time we were done ordering it was wrapped to the parking lot around 8pm on a Saturday night. We tried: the Rosca Delgado (traditional thread churro), Churro Delgado with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream + Caramel Drizzle and Butter Pecan Ice Cream + Lechera Drizzle, and the Chocolate Mi Abuelita hot AND iced. If you must pick one - traditional churro + hot chocolate. No lies there. Already planning to pull up to their Santa Ana spot next time we're back in SoCal. Support this family business y'all, worth ittttt.

Delicious churros but lost points for charging $1 on Apple Pay without any warning. Yes, I do love their churros. They're made fresh, hot, fluffy, and crispy. I got the one with ice cream and, although that was the perfect combo, the ice cream made the churros a little softer. I think next time I will get the ice cream on the side so I can keep all of the churros crispy. The location is easy to find. Their truck is located outside of the Anaheim Marketplace with a huge parking lot. It's a lot easier to get to than their actual store in downtown Santa Ana. Anyway, back to the payment options. I didn't realize they attached a $1 fee on my Apple Pay until I looked at the receipt afterwards. No warning. I find that a little annoying. It's just a pet peeve of mine that businesses pass their CODBs onto customers. read more

Don Churros has to be one of the BEST desserts I've had in Orange County. Some of my friends kept telling me this was one of the best dessert spots around OC and after finally trying it, I can definitely see why. We came around 10 PM on a Saturday night and there was already a pretty long line. Apparently we got lucky because I was told the line wasn't even as long as it normally gets lol. Surprisingly though, we waited less than 10 minutes. The staff here works FAST. You can literally see how hard everyone is working behind the counter getting all the orders out. There's also a waiting area with bench seating which is nice if you're hanging around eating your churros. Plenty of parking too so that wasn't an issue at all. There's even a Jalisco taco tent right next door, so honestly you could grab tacos first and then come here for dessert We were recommended the Traditional Churros with vanilla bean ice cream and this was easily the highlight for me. The traditional ones are super crispy on the outside but really soft inside. It reminds me of the classic Mexican churros you'd get from street vendors, markets or festivals, just done REALLY well. They had the perfect amount of cinnamon sugar too. Definitely on the sweeter side but thats exactly how I want my churros. With the vanilla bean ice cream and Mexican caramel on top... SO GOOD. Everything just worked together perfectly. The hot crispy churros with the cold vanilla ice cream and caramel was seriously addicting. I've actually been to Spain and tried churros from cafes that have been around for literally 100 to 200+ years, and honestly Don Churros is still up there with some of the best churros I've ever had. Probably one of the best I've tried in North America so far. Also really cool knowing they're originally from Jalisco, Mexico! We also ordered the mixed boxes, but unfortunately by 10 PM they had already sold out of the Don Churros and only had the Traditional ones left. Since the Don Churros cost a little more we asked if they could maybe hook us up with some extra Traditional Churros instead. And they REALLY hooked us up They gave us a ton of extras, basically another full bag of Traditional Churros!! Really appreciated that and honestly the customer service here was exceptional. Even with the long line everyone was friendly, moving quick and working really hard. Fresh, super crispy outside, soft inside, lots of cinnamon sugar and even better with the vanilla bean ice cream and their syrups. Definitely get a box to take home too, its worth it. I'll 100% be back. Don Churros is easily one of my favorite dessert spots in OC now and genuinely one of the best desserts I've had around here. GO TO DON CHURROS!! read more

Great service and friendly. Love watching them prepare the food. This new brick and mortar place is nice especially when it is cold outside. Got some churros with coffee ice cream and Nutella drizzle ($9.25). Delicious! It really hits the sweet tooth spot. The churros are so crispy and not greasy. Love the new location! Some of the best food trucks are in random parking lots. We were nearby when a friend recommended their churros. The truck is located on the left side of the Anaheim Marketplace parking lot, and at 9:30 PM on a Friday, it was easy to spot thanks to the long line. Despite the crowd, we were able to place our order within about 15 minutes, and the food came out quickly. There is an area with standing tables conveniently located next to the truck to eat. I ordered the traditional churro with cajeta (caramel) dip, and wow, it might be the best churro I have ever had! It was freshly made, perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not overly chewy like many churros tend to be. The sugar coating was generous without leaving a heavy or lingering aftertaste. The cajeta dip can get a bit messy, but it was not overly sweet, and the flavor and texture paired really well with the churro. After finishing it, I wished I ordered another one. Delicious churros and worth the visit. I'll be back again for a sweet treat. read more

I've been wanting to try Don Churros ever since I heard about their food truck in Anaheim, but last time I visited OC it was randomly closed. So I was so excited they opened this storefront in downtown Santa Ana which has more extended hours! We came on a weekend around 2:30pm and there were a few people inside, but quickly more people arrived. Its absolutely worth the hype. I shared a don churro with my partner and we added caramel and ice cream inside. The Don Churro shape is different from the typical churro. Its flat and wide and they stuff it with a topping of your choice. Since we got the ice cream one, it really made for a great ice cream sandwich! One order was plenty for 2 people. We devoured it so quickly. I have thought about this churro everyday since we got it! Service was super friendly. When you order you get a buzzer that will alert you to when it's ready. They make it fresh and they were efficient. The space is clean and has seating and tables. There were plenty of spaces when we got there but it quickly got populated. Their restroom was clean though their sink was a bit confusing (maybe a hybrid between automatic sink and manual?) Overall highly recommend!! Its also located near lots of shops in a walkable area so a great spot to spend the afternoon or evening :) read more

These are by far the best churros I've ever had! I've been to their food truck location in Anaheim so many times, so I was SO happy to see that they now have a storefront--and even better, it's closer to me! I came on a Saturday night around 10 PM, and it only took about 20 minutes from ordering to getting my churros since we just did a small order. Totally worth the wait. They're incredibly airy, fluffy, and fresh--just perfection. This is definitely a must-visit spot that I recommend to everyone who comes into town. I'll even be back this week to celebrate my birthday! Will be getting several full threads either ice cream! Parking can be a little tricky, but there's a parking structure within walking distance, which helps. read more

These churros are absolute perfection. The churros at Disneyland are trash in comparison. I love the simple churros dusted in cinnamon and sugar. My kids like the churros topped with ice cream. The churros are made to order so they are nice and hot when you get them. read more

Took 30m to get churros after ordering. Line was short on arrival, but got very long while waiting. They made an announcement 15m after I placed my order that all orders would take 20m. On the upside, I showed a screenshot of my l review so I received the churros bag for free. :) Glad they honored what they said. Location is 5m from Disneyland. It's a food truck located in a parking lot next to a taco truck. Setup was good and looked clean; there are benches to sit and wait. Ordering process was slow. FYI they charge $1 for credit cards. read more
I got an obsession for churros, and after hearing so many good things about Don Churros Gomez, I finally made my way out there to try it. Couldn't decide on which version to get so we got both the traditional and the donchurro. The traditional one is a classic and was really good! The donchurro one allows for a filling inside, but we decided to get it plain and got a side of chocolate and cajeta dips. If you're gonna get the donchurro, the cajeta is the way to go - really enhances the experience. It's more doughy than a traditional churro and does not have a crunch (more like a pastry bread), but still good and unique in its own way. Would definitely try it with some ice cream next time! read more

Don Churros is always my go-to spot for late night desserts! It's a food truck that sells churros with a bunch of options. I always order the 5 pc churros with ice cream and condensed milk. It's extremely soft, flakey, and crispy. I recommend! read more
Still the best churros in town. Churros are made to order so naturally you have to wait for it be made. After about 15 minutes (depending on the time and day of the week you come), they come out nice and hot with just the right crunch on the outside. I enjoyed them on the spot in the eating area under the adjacent tent. I normally enjoy them plain with just cinnamon and sugar, but this time, I got the condensed milk drizzled on top. This is an amazing topping if you want to add that added sweetness to your churros. Highly recommend and worth the wait in line! read more
Don churros is always 5/5. I've only tried the one at the food truck and was so shocked that they have an actual store now. We got the churro and it was soft on the inside and toasty on the outside. I had to get ice cream with it and it was the perfect match together. Don Churros is a must try when you are in the area. read more
The best churro in Orange County - Crispy, freshly made and hot. I love the condensed milk as a drizzle flavor but you can go with other options too. The line was long but the staff were very nice and move people along. The ambiance is bright, airy as you enjoy your churro outside the food truck. Very cool to see at night. As much as I love the strange creations of churros at Disneyland and DCA, they can never beat the Don Churros ones. You can't go wrong with the Don Churro Style cut in half with ice cream and caramel drizzle. Even if the line is long, the music they play is always good and helps pass the time... read more

I am a big fan of the Don churros truck in Anaheim and was very excited about their storefront opening. Truthfully, the churros were mid here compared to the truck. Would still give it another chance though. Anyway, the affogato with the coffee ice cream was solid as well as the strawberry ice cream. read more

Stopped by on a Friday evening and it was a win. No line and parking was easy. I got the churro funnel cake flavor and it was exactly what I hoped. Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and served hot. It honestly tasted like I was eating a funnel cake, in the best way. Price was about $11 with tax, which feels fair for a dessert this filling and good. Big upgrade from the OG Anaheim spot because this Santa Ana location has tables to sit at and a restroom, so you can actually take your time and enjoy it. Also the music wasn't too loud, which I appreciated. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area or just visit the OG location. read more
