She welcomed us with her sweet, contagious smile, and took the time to ask us how our night was going, even with the pressure of a huge line behind us waiting. She was quick to get all of our five different orders, she helped us decide on flavors, and gave us little stamp cards that will inevitably earn us a free dessert after a certain amount of visits! But I can confidently say that my return won't be motivated by my desire to get all ten stamps, it will be driven by the warm interaction I had the pleasure of receiving tonight! You can spot Joes from a mile away because the line is always looooong - parking can be kind of a pain, but the line moves quickly and you won't regret making the stop. We got a large mango tango Joe Latti and it was the perfect portion for two! We initially even thought it might be a little too much, but the layer of soft serve inside gave us a second wind and then it didn't feel like it was enough lol. The ice is so smoooth, the syrup doesn't taste overly artificial, AND the soft serve is ridiculously creamy. Totally not worth the hype. We waited 45 minutes for this ice. Thankfully it wasn't hot out because if it was I would never have. We got to the front and once we got there they had it very organized. They had numerous windows to help runners to help get the ice, but for it being so popular they needed more staff. We got one ice and one gelati. The ice was so strong, as if drinking the syrup strong. We got the cherry and it was inedible from the syrup. They post a lot on Instagram about their Flavor of the Day, so we planned our visit around a specific flavor they announced a week in advance. Before we even got in the long line, I checked their Instagram one last time to make sure there weren't any updates saying it had sold out. There weren't. After waiting all that time, we got to the front and were told the flavor had actually been sold out for hours. If that's the case, why wasn't your Instagram updated? People make the trip specifically for the flavors you advertise. Instead, we wasted our time standing in line for something that wasn't even available, and you almost feel obligated to buy something else just to make the wait feel worth it. If a featured flavor sells out, it takes seconds to post an update. Do better! I know a lot of people behind me were also there for that flavor. Also! When we buy a quart they don't ask you if you have a card to stamp anymore, you have to ask for them! read more

Joe's Italian ice is great. One of the best I've had. We went here on a weeknight and the line was wrapped around the block. Parking was a nightmare (this sounds like a theme in So-Cal). We did get lucky and got parking on the side street since someone right in front of us was leaving. The line does move quick though. They have 10 order stations. We got here 30 min before closing and were able to get our order in before they closed. The most popular item is the Joe Latti, which is vanilla ice cream with your choice of Italian ice flavor. We got to sample flavors before ordering as well. I ended up getting wild cherry and mango tango, which was a good combo. The mango was sweet, just the way I like it. My group all got a mix of flavors and everyone enjoyed their joe Latti as well. Customer service was great. They answered all our questions since it was our first time here. The place is always crowded, and there is limited seating and tables in front. We were lucky to get a table. There was also kids revving and speeding up and down the street, so just an FYI. I recently tried the orange dreamcicle and it goes great with the ice cream. Joes also has other sweet treats like cones, splits, floats and shakes. Definitely a must try if you're in the area! All dogs eat free at Joe's as well so if you're bringing your furry family members, they can get a treat as well. Outdoor seating available on a first come first serve basis.
