When asked about it, Jose (the owner) responded with "pay it today or I am sending it to collections!" which seemed even stranger. Further analysis of the data in their multi-thousand line invoices revealed large scale fraud on behalf of the company. The bill we were sent was $38,000, and the adjudicated amount was $19,000, or roughly half. When we started looking deeper into the company and its history, it turns out that the ownership has had several brushes with the law, including a charge for grand larsony. Net-net - these guys are shady beyond belief and should be avoided at all costs.
