I am writing this to provide feedback regarding a negative customer service experience, I had today at the Stevenson Ranch, FedEx Store. Upon entering the store, I approached an employee at the counter to inform them I was there to pick up an order. The employee, an older female, did not greet me. Instead, she asked abruptly, "What do you need?" When I stated that I was, "Picking up," her response was to repeatedly say, "Picking up what," with a very negative and dismissive tone. She did not ask for my name or the order number, which prolonged the interaction and made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. I believe this employee's attitude does not align with the standard of customer service your company strives to provide. The interaction was brief, but the lack of basic politeness and professionalism was surprising and disappointing. I trust that you will address this matter to ensure that all customers receive a more positive and respectful experience. I did want to mention my order was done to a high standard, however the customer service could use some help. read more

I shipped a package of work related hard drives to the UK - they had to be there by Nov 25. Three weeks later and they haven't been delivered, and not one single person at Fedex can help me with finding them. They dont know what's happening, they promise to call you back and dont, And they charged $240 to ship them. - and they've suspended their 'delivery guarantee' because of Covid - yet other shippers are doing just fine. Pure rudeness! And not just rude but emulating a sense of anger! I am probably the most easy going person with a very kind demeanor. I walked in to fax something and then asked, do you sell stamps? An older woman wearing a Santa hat (but not a trace of kindness on her facial expression) says no! I jokingly say: but you're a mailing center, how can that be. (all along I have a smile on my face). She angrily replies: We are fedex!!! We have always only done fedex!!!!! Her facial expression: if she had a bat in her hand she would have hit me. I have been going to FedEx office print since it was called Kinko's! I was even called the Kinko kid. I am very aware of their services and have use their offerings for many years. Over time in the transition from Kinko's to FedEx I have found that FedEx acted more corporate and it has had less warmth than it did when it was Kinko's. I went here for a very specific purpose. I needed posters for my sons graduation. I don't know why but I started at Staples. They were closer. They were unable to meet my needs of getting it printed today for the event tomorrow. I headed to FedEx office with a little bit of restraint. I didn't want to deal with the less than stellar service. When I arrived, I was greeted wholeheartedly with a hello and a welcome! I explained what I needed and was given some direction on how to log into the computer to create my poster. I was also given some dimensions so I could understand what size I was making and what to put on it. The person running the counter checked in on me and greeted every person that walked in the door. Seems like normal customer service, right! It gets better! Charlene, the employee working that shift, was amazing! She greeted every customer, she taught every self-serve customer how do use equipment, she didn't flinch and show that she was managing a lot when there was multiple customers requiring her support. Even when she was super busy, she continually greeted every person that walked in the door. It was so lovely to work with someone that understood customer service! I can't say enough! Go to this FedEx office! Asked for Charlene! You won't be disappointed! By the way, my sons posters turned out amazing and I left the store with them in my possession. Didn't have to wait, didn't have to come back and everyone was jealous of how beautiful my posters were! I've came here couple of times and each time it was slow. It's been a while since I've last been here but thought I'd give it the benefit of doubt. Yeah..no. Worst mistake ever. I asked if they could create a pre-paid return label and they made me sign up for an account. After I signed up, they redirected me to their self-service computer. HELLO! This is my first time and you're asking me to do it by myself?! So I'm sitting their and the calculated amount to pay for a prepaid return label was $70 bucks...I was really annoyed and upset for flagging down the guy twice only to leave me hopeless, so I got up and left and went to UPS. Girl finally showed up at 15 after... ok, needed to sign the form, needed a blue ink pen...NOT ONE BLUE PEN IN THE ENTIRE STORE..asked if she could scan it and email it to me, nope, can't email, but can scan to a thumb drive, that I could BUY... After a long day of work I stopped by to pick up a package that I was left a notice for. After waiting for 10 minutes I was finally acknowledged by the person at the desk who was helping someone else who informed me that they would be right with me. During those 10 minutes, I noticed that two other gentleman were hanging out in the office. After another 5 minutes the guy helping the customer in front of me asked one of the other guys for help and then AFTER they resolved that problem one of the guys finally came over to help me. Don't go here!! Stop! Do not enter!! These people do not know what in the hell they're doing. I went into ship a box. They said my box was damaged. Tiny little hole in the box. I'm like slap some shipping tape on it. Oh no we can't have shipping tape. 25 minutes to measure the box over and over again for them to come up with a box size and charge me $24 for it. Ridiculous! Then in the same visit I get some photos of my grandma enlarged for a memorial. Everything is great and Juan was awesome. They call me a few days later to have me come in to approve the photos. When I get there they have no idea who I am or even how to look up my order. I must've spelled my name 20 times but they couldn't find me. Finally a manager comes out and finds my order. One of the pictures has a hair right in the middle. I'm like hello what is that. They were so rude saying that the original photo must've had a hair on it. Uhhhh no! I ask them to redo it and you would've thought them to rebuild something from scratch. So much attitude but more than anything the incompetence is just unbelievable. If given this location three separate chances, and they have failed miserably all three times. This is especially sad, since I was only using them to ship pre-paid packages through fedex. On the first occasion, the gentleman helping me pushed his body weight into the corner of my package, claimed that it was no longer stable enough to send, and wanted to charge me another $10 to repackage it. I walked out with my crushed box and sent it via another location. Strike one. The second time I walked in and stood at the counter for 7 minutes. ( Yep, I actually looked at my watch while I was waiting). After absolutely no greeting, I turned around and walked out. Strike 2. The final time I waked in with a small package. The lady behind the register took it, shook it vigorously, said that she couldn't send it since it rattled and it needed to be repackaged. I simply thanked her for her input, refused to pay her to perform an unnecessary act ( adding unnecessary packaging materials). Strike three. Things seemed to be running okay awhile back but every since a couple of employees have left and the manager / new assistant manager took over the front counter, I have not been able to send a successful package here yet without difficulties Today was trying to send a package and the Assistant Manager, I believe his name begin with an S ended with an N, kept telling me things that completely went against how I was able to ship in the past. First he told me that I couldn't use a certain envelope - fine you've updated your policies I can get with that, then he told me I didn't need an international airbill which was wrong - I ship daily through USPS and weekly through FedEx and DHL and you DO actually need one or the items will get stuck in custom hell (he revised his thought after looking at the screen - guess it told him I needed one?) and lastly what got me going is when I mentioned I had a company discount, he was dismissive about the large amount telling me that his discount wasn't even that much. Dude didn't even check, just made an assumption and we all know that saying about assumptions... Anyways my confidence in his ability to properly ship my package went away. I figured that since he wasn't aware that other companies may have higher discounts than his own that he probably wouldn't know how to properly apply the correct amount to my package and to be honest, since he was so damn dismissive and rude, I didn't want to deal with him any longer. Dude came across as a total A. Anyways, left in a huff, went to another store, was in and out in less than 5 minutes. No drama. Great service. I knew I should have just stayed away from this location. As mentioned nothing but issues now that the Managers are trying to run the counters. Last time they were out of international invoices, before that, a package was not shipped out on time because of a mistake on their part so it took 3 days for my client to receive instead of 1... they paid for 3. Also had a package last year sent to the wrong place and finally made its way back to me a month later and right after I filed a claim... I gave it more than enough chances but I've a business to run and if they can't get my shipments right, I gotta go elsewhere. read more

As far as self service is concerned this place has everything you need to get your prints and projects done. Customer service is lackluster. A worker named Sebastian is a total douche and completely useless. I needed help after one of the copiers wouldn't print my files. Usually I go up to the counter and they print it for me off their computer. He couldn't be bothered. There was another employee helping on the floor, and she was busy, and Sebastian was apparently only working on shipping...of which there were no customers. So he was basically stacking boxes while I waited for the other employee to finish helping another customer. If you feel like you're going to need any help from the employees...good luck. There was a sack of styrofoam peanuts that was doing more work than half the employees. read more

Tonight I had 116 pages of tax documents scanned into one PDF file at the FedEx Office on Pico Canyon Road in Stevenson Ranch. I experienced the following: #1) 13 pages were missing from the PDF file, e.g. did not get scanned. Luckily, I checked every page of the scan with the originals and caught this error before I forwarded this information on to my client's CPA for tax return prep. #2) More disturbingly, I found a photo, (a father and son taken in March 1974), on my flash drive that was not mine! It had today's date on the file. My first thought was, 'I've had a lot of confidential documents scanned here in the past - I wonder if any of those documents have found their way onto someone else's flash disk?!?'. This could pose a horrible liability issue for me. I only use this flash drive when I take documents to FedEx to be scanned - about six times a year. Since I deal with sensitive client financial information, I ALWAYS ask the attendant to delete the scanned file from their computer after they copy it onto my flash disk. While I watch them delete the file in one step, who knows if a second step is involved - such as emptying the trash. After finding this photo, I decided to delete everything on my flash drive as I was worried about having some of my confidential information accessed while FedEx is in possession of my flash drive. It was at this time that I found other files I did not recognize on my flash disk. When I tried to open them to see what they were and if they were mine, I found nothing but blank pages. So, buyer beware - know that once FedEx scans your documents, it's anyone's guess where they could end up. Given this experience with FedEx, and the fact that I cannot guarantee the security of my client's confidential financial information, I cannot see myself ever going back. This security issue makes their constant shortage of customer service personnel seem minuscule in comparison. read more

I love a good Kinko's experience (well, I guess they used to be kinko's until FedEx completely took over). Nothing makes you feel more productive and gives you more project-completion-satisfaction that printing, collating, stapling, binding, etc. FedEx Office recently added computer stations to their operations- so people can access files from flash drives and their e-mail. But uggggggh their internet is SO SLOW. Tried to buy Amtrak tickets and the transaction timed out twice because of the speed. I spent 25 minutes trying to do what should have been a 3 minute transaction. And using the computer costs 25 cents/minute! So my Amtrak ticket ended up costing a few bucks more. Whatever. I just wish I had my 20 minutes back. It's not 1999 and FedEx is not a just-getting-by Mom & Pop shop: GET FASTER INTERNET/COMPUTERS. read more

Fedex Office has some tough competition these days, but not only is its staff more knowledgeable than other copy and print centers, but the quality and variety of services is unmatchable. You can accomplish so much - printing, copying, binding, mounting, laminating, scanning, as well as find notary services, document creation, and a large selection of office supplies.The team here has a really positive attitude which shows in their work. They're very efficient and will find the solution for any situation. Most of the services, like the Design & Print Center are self-serve which is really convenient if you're on the go. My only complaint is that the center isn't open 24 hours! read more

Well I decided to go and give FedEx another shot at my business and they knocked it out of the park. They may be friendly, but they take forever to ship a package (minimum 10 minutes, and that's with all the information typed out for them so they don't need to ask me anything. Also, I just found out from a customer that a package I sent yesterday using ground delivery (going 35 miles), did not arrive today, as promised by the clerk who helped me when I dropped off. When I called the (800) number to get a location on the package, they really couldn't tell, 24 hours later, where it was, just that the scan from last night said it went as far as Pacoima (a whopping 10 miles). I could have walked it there in a fraction of that time. The only time I come here is when a customer insists on using his FedEx account. I'm pretty sure the customer who didn't get his package today will rethink their shipping company. In four years of dealing with UPS Ground, there has never been one instance when a package going within Los Angeles County didn't get there by noon the next day, even during the holidays. Pay attention when the business doesn't list a local phone number, only the national (800) number. There's clearly a reason for that. read more

Customer Service What kind of a service place does not require their employee to acknowledge their customers or at least say hi once a customer walks through the door? I know that shipping places make huge amount of their money on selling boxes and packaging material, but don't hassle and nag the customer who already has their items in a good box. The girl, Lisa, was pushing every single customer to repackage their items. She did that to a few customers. The other staff, Sean, was the one who is too busy to help or acknowledge his customers with an attitude of "What do you need. I have a lot of stuff I need to do". C'mon Seriously? This place has 1 employee working in the morning. You must wait at least 15 minutes to drop off a labeled packaged and get a receipt. That is ridicules. Moving forward all my business will be given to UPS, this is unbelievable. The district manager needs to review his schedule and they need to hire help. Clearly all regional and district manager are doing is collecting a pay check. I use this location really frequently, mostly for shipping. They are extremely nice and helpful, here. I am always greeted with a smile and a warm hello. This location has printing and shipping (FedEx and Kinko's) services, and they do a wonderful job packing and labeling and adding extra tape to boxes 'just in case.' Mostly I have interacted with two members of the staff- Derek and Max. I have found them both to be efficient and very professional men. They are thorough and careful when printing and checking labels and always give a detailed report of shipping estimates for packages. They sell (or in some instances provide for free) all the materials you could possibly need for any kind of shipment. It's nice to be treated like a familiar friend every time I walk in, here. A great place to pack, ship, fax, copy, or print. Would give them 6 stars if I could! read more
