My truck had been running hotter than normal at red lights, and every shop I called wanted to charge over $100 just to run a pressure test. When I called Quality Car Care on Wickham Rd., I spoke with Sam, the owner. Right away he stood out--he told me to bring the truck by and said he would check it for free, explaining that he doesn't charge people for a simple pressure test that only takes a few minutes. He found a crack in my radiator, showed it to me, and replaced it for a very fair price. A few days later, I started having another issue, and after installing a new fan clutch myself, the truck sounded like the engine was revving way too high. I was worried it might be a transmission problem. Once again, Sam told me to bring it in. He looked at it right away and called to let me know the issue wasn't the transmission--it was the faulty fan clutch I had installed that wasn't disengaging. Throughout all of this, Sam was honest, patient, and never tried to upsell or take advantage of the situation. He helped me understand what was going on, didn't charge me for things he didn't need to, and treated me with genuine respect. Sam and Quality Car Care are truly an asset to the community.
